God will bring the man/woman for you at his own time.. he's not in a hurry..we are..that's why we get depressed, anxious and impatient. Wait on the Lord..seek his kingdom and move closer to him and love him more than you would love your future spouse and he will provide you a spouse according to his timing. In case if you feel it's taking too long, remember we're just temporarily in this world.. and we have less time to prepare ourselves for life after death with God.. Spend time in pleasing God, not people.. Because who knows, God would want you to meet your future spouse when you least expect it! You only date a person if you hear from the LORD that she/he's the one. You dont simply just go and pick someone you think suitable for you. God will reveal it to you if you seek Him or if that is part of His plan or is according to His will. Seek God and make your self busy in serving God, he/she will come in God's time.

One tip I have for people who want to get married: talk to married, divorced, separated, widowed people. Think about it: you go to school, learn from people who have done this career before, but why don't we do that with marriage? Some people prepare for the wedding more than the marriage. if you cant 1. forgive, 2. communicate, 3. love even when people are jerks, marriage is not for you yet.

I never had a desire for marriage or children. Close people around me were getting married and I was happy for them but it did nothing for me personally. I've been to weddings by myself no problem , no issues with loneliness and been celibate for 13 years and am really content with myself. But In 2012 God started giving me this feeling and dreams with marriage in it. In 2014 I asked God flat out is marriage in my future and he said marriage is part of my perfect will for you. Ever since then I have been content and waiting for him to come. But whether it comes or not I love Jesus beyond the things he will do for me and I believe that really matters to God.
Yes, for sign #3, I see the abusive relationship I was in as a blessing in disguise. It gave me the ability to heal and be prepared for what I truly want and deserve.
I just got out of an abusive relationship, thank God for that because I know I did not deserve that and God is going to direct me to the right man that was meant for me and sometimes at some point I realized that if he is not the one trust me you will feel it

@@SaraX2024 your situation seem like the same as mine, my ex is now coming back saying I ve changed there's not even 1 month since we ve broken up and that's even funny because a person cannot change overnight he used to be so harsh on me I cut or my friends because of him he restricted me from talking to even my male relatives, one thing that pains me is that he once slapped me because of old pictures he saw in my laptop with my friends at varsity and he said my past was messy n it irritates him then I asked myself then why is he with me at the same moment I thought if I breakup with him will not find another, I am 23, he made me feel unwanted and worthless because he saw himself as a Saint, pretending to be nice in the eyes of people because they see him as a good person, I then realized that all the thingz he restricted me, he was doing it behind my back, I am out of it but sometimes to think of it is very painful but all in all it was a lesson learnt

Narcissists are like this, controlling and playing the good and victim outside wearing their false masks, which is also how they seduced us. They come back after a while, because they need the supply. They are very jealous creatures and can't think of you moving on.

God has definitely been maturing me over the last couple of years with the next step coming in the form of independence. I'd also add that another sign is God pruning you of negative past experiences/emotions. It can be a painful process dealing with these issues, but it will help usher you into a God-ordained marriage or relationship.

I spent many years forming a better family relationship between me and my step mom. I’ve learned things like listening, respect, small kind acts, sharing responsibility, and humility from her. @Katie Drake, giiiiiiiirl you're making singlehood sound like imprisonment. 😁 I used to think that it would be a curse to be alone, but that is far from the truth. Being alone gave me time to heal from old wounds, and to re discover myself and to be a better caretaker of myself. I realized that in the past I had some co-dependencies on relationships and God wanted me to be an individual, while placing my trust solely in Him. Once I did that, I saw so much joy and happiness and peace all down in my being I was able to look myself in the mirror and tell myself that "I love you". I seriously believe that once you have been made whole only then will you receive a whole man. You will realize that you don't need people in order to be happy that you can be happy right now. You don't need anyone to complete you. Be complete in the Most High. I speak blessings over your heart your mind your soul.💖💞💕

I'm not doing so great though... I know just how important it is to grow and be whole in God before romance can ever be part of the story. I would never want to meet the man of my dreams only to break him down to the level I'm at. I have such a desire to be married, but I've never had a boyfriend or have ever even been on one date. That's enough to make me wonder if there's something wrong with me... I've dealt with addiction and depression for so many years that those things come as second nature to me. That alone is enough evidence that I'm nowhere near being perfected and complete in Christ. I recently looked back over my life and thanked God that he hadn't given me a husband yet. I'm just so longing for love that it gets lonely, almost unbearably so, so often for me.
Everyone is at a different level ...but one thing is for sure God wants singles to be whole in Him first and not look for a person to fill the void of loneliness. .. He is our everything first and then we can share that with someone else

I understand. In my 20's I went through the same. But I made mistakes as a result of that loneliness. Be careful to guard your heart AND your body. If a man gets with you to charm you into bed, run. It isn't easy. But you will quickly weed out the players from the one who will respect your boundaries and stick with you despite society's worldly view.
I find all these signs in my life now... am glad that God is going to do the greatest thing in my life, which I longed for. Am 36 and was never settled in life till now due to many bad circumstances that happened to me. Maybe, am going to see the good days very soon.. thank you my almighty God! 😊🙏
I laugh about it because when I was 21 I kept thinking that for years afterwards. Literally everyone around me picks up a boyfriend or girlfriend so easily like changing shirts. Just before watching this, I wrote in my mobile diary about my strong longing for the man God has for me . The last thing I said was if I’m suppose to prepare right now then I will and if my purpose should fulfill me first then that’s what I’ll do. Then I came to UA-cam and this was the first one. God brought me across your channel shortly after he started to show me what sinful impurities he wanted to cleans from me. Which was only 3 1/2 months after God reconnected me with an old friend I had been praying for, for over 16 years. I’ve been divorced for nearly 20 years & never remarried. This to me was a huge sign that God is working in me & helping to equip me with the spiritual tools needed so, I can be a Godly spouse one day. I started praying for my partner and I in our plans to get married. After that, we started arguing more and issues surfaced. I thought it meant we weren’t meant to be. However, those issues did not break us apart (but almost did). It was tough & we decided to put our issues aside. That helped us see that marriage is hard work. Loving someone (more than we love ourselves) is difficult. God calls us to do things we thought were not possible… and we always need God’s help. Always keep praying 🙏

I used to be so discouraged after being single for so many years, but then I began to learn that it's during the season of singleness we develop a firmer foundation in Christ and truly discover who we are as an individual, so I get to appreciate the season of singleness and now I'm content trusting that He's preparing both of us to align us in due season.

But not this short in particular.) and the yt short starts playing and in the short it says.. "The Lord wanted you to hear this!" and in the short, she gave me this verse: Isaiah 60:22 "When the time is right, I the Lord will make it happen" GLORY TO GOD.❤❤

If we fulfill God’s purpose which is to be more like Jesus, and be mature and grown up, then when we marry we would bring that into the marriage, if we don’t marry, we will be mature in all our other relationships anyway. That is what I meant.
Ever since I was a child God had place that desire in my heart of marriage and having a family. Though the past few years I was only relying on myself, but when I surrendered my heart and desires to God, he revealed the man that I'm going to marry in less than a years time. When we put out trust and our desires in God's hands and we wait on God and his timing, good things will come.

I agree. I fell for this trap thinking God was sending me dreams about someone I liked. I waited around for over a year and that person married someone else. I felt so stupid and upset that I wasted so much time. I caused myself so much unnecessary anxiety and pain. I don’t want to seek signs anymore. Just waiting for God to bring it together in the natural.
I’ve been married for 15 years, but in 2001 when I was single, I met a single man at a large church singles group in Southern California who, though a committed Christian and sincere person, came on too strong and literally scared me off! Looking back, if he had simply shown interest in a natural, casual and consistent way, I tell you, I would have gone out with him! Again, looking back, I remember he had some good qualities (committed to Christ, intelligent, dressed decent, tall and physically in shape; etc). The issue for him was that he did not yet have a “readiness” to meet and have a relationship with a woman. Its good to eventually find out that this “diamond in the rough” did eventually find love and is now married! God is concerned about our love life and wants to fulfill our companionship desires!! Trust Him!

I never had a desire for marriage or children. Close people around me were getting married and I was happy for them but it did nothing for me personally. I've been to weddings by myself no problem , no issues with loneliness and been celibate for 13 years and am really content with myself. But In 2012 God started giving me this feeling and dreams with marriage in it. In 2014 I asked God flat out is marriage in my future and he said marriage is part of my perfect will for you. Ever since then I have been content and waiting for him to come. But whether it comes or not I love Jesus beyond the things he will do for me and I believe that really matters to God.

God has definitely been maturing me over the last couple of years with the next step coming in the form of independence. I'd also add that another sign is God pruning you of negative past experiences/emotions. It can be a painful process dealing with these issues, but it will help usher you into a God-ordained marriage or relationship.

@Katie Drake, giiiiiiiirl you're making singlehood sound like imprisonment. 😁 I used to think that it would be a curse to be alone, but that is far from the truth. Being alone gave me time to heal from old wounds, and to re discover myself and to be a better caretaker of myself. I realized that in the past I had some co-dependencies on relationships and God wanted me to be an individual, while placing my trust solely in Him. Once I did that, I saw so much joy and happiness and peace all down in my being I was able to look myself in the mirror and tell myself that "I love you". I seriously believe that once you have been made whole only then will you receive a whole man. You will realize that you don't need people in order to be happy that you can be happy right now. You don't need anyone to complete you. Be complete in the Most High. I speak blessings over your heart your mind your soul.💖💞💕

I understand. In my 20's I went through the same. But I made mistakes as a result of that loneliness. Be careful to guard your heart AND your body. If a man gets with you to charm you into bed, run. It isn't easy. But you will quickly weed out the players from the one who will respect your boundaries and stick with you despite society's worldly view.
I find all these signs in my life now... am glad that God is going to do the greatest thing in my life, which I longed for. Am 36 and was never settled in life till now due to many bad circumstances that happened to me. Maybe, am going to see the good days very soon.. thank you my almighty God! 😊🙏

Just before watching this, I wrote in my mobile diary about my strong longing for the man God has for me . The last thing I said was if I’m suppose to prepare right now then I will and if my purpose should fulfill me first then that’s what I’ll do. Then I came to UA-cam and this was the first one. I feel like this guy I like is a lesson and I’ve been thinking he is the guy for me . I think it’s more of a preparation on how to deal with these things.

I started praying for my partner and I in our plans to get married. After that, we started arguing more and issues surfaced. I thought it meant we weren’t meant to be. However, those issues did not break us apart (but almost did). It was tough & we decided to put our issues aside. That helped us see that marriage is hard work. Loving someone (more than we love ourselves) is difficult. God calls us to do things we thought were not possible… and we always need God’s help. Always keep praying 🙏

If we fulfill God’s purpose which is to be more like Jesus, and be mature and grown up, then when we marry we would bring that into the marriage, if we don’t marry, we will be mature in all our other relationships anyway. That is what I meant.
Ever since I was a child God had place that desire in my heart of marriage and having a family. Though the past few years I was only relying on myself, but when I surrendered my heart and desires to God, he revealed the man that I'm going to marry in less than a years time. When we put out trust and our desires in God's hands and we wait on God and his timing, good things will come.

I agree. I fell for this trap thinking God was sending me dreams about someone I liked. I waited around for over a year and that person married someone else. I felt so stupid and upset that I wasted so much time. I caused myself so much unnecessary anxiety and pain. I don’t want to seek signs anymore. Just waiting for God to bring it together in the natural.
I’ve been married for 15 years, but in 2001 when I was single, I met a single man at a large church singles group in Southern California who, though a committed Christian and sincere person, came on too strong and literally scared me off! Looking back, if he had simply shown interest in a natural, casual and consistent way, I tell you, I would have gone out with him! Again, looking back, I remember he had some good qualities (committed to Christ, intelligent, dressed decent, tall and physically in shape; etc). The issue for him was that he did not yet have a “readiness” to meet and have a relationship with a woman. Its good to eventually find out that this “diamond in the rough” did eventually find love and is now married! God is concerned about our love life and wants to fulfill our companionship desires!! Trust Him!
