If you haven't read the book "Amusing Ourselves to Death", by author Neil Postman. It is an excellent read, and what pushed me to read Brave New World. Get your heads out of your screens people and look around. You have been offered bread and circus.

The main thing I remember Huxley saying in all the old interviews I watched with him was when he said that what he had feared most which was that whole generations of young people who's ambitions were wiped out by emerging technologies their passions taken away and squelched by an addiction that they can't control. 😢
I was seeing this girl for short time earlier this year, and early on when getting to know her I ask "so what do you like to do? You write? Draw? Sing? Make art? Read?" You know things like that and she was almost dumbfounded and had nothing to say. Didn't even try to make up a lie either lol. She said she goes on her phone all day.
I truly believe one of the primary KEYS to the enslavement of humanity is the STIFLING of Imagination. We and the generations before us have CONSENTED to our enslavement, which VERY FEW understand. The irony is, the cages we reside in are made only of PAPER, now. It makes me physically ill to see so many people BOW to this system of control. @@Humble-iq5ueIt's really gutting. Being an addict in recovery and very late to the smart phone owners club, I quickly saw/felt what a powerful substance of addiction and control smart phones were. I sometimes wonder why the powers that be allowed us the use of these tech marvels, with all their computing, and connection and sharing power in one place. And of course it's their addictiveness. It's worse than fentanyl, it's got an algorithm behind it. I really hope the trend of flip phones takes off!!

@Humble-iq5ue everyone is on it all day everyday. Whatever "free time" they have from work or school is spent on devices. It is absolutely an addiction.

I've never seen the NPC Tik Tok trend. That is truly disturbing. I avoid social media as its being weaponized and used for social engineering. People are falling into lockstep with it.

It's ridiculous! She's not the only one cashing in on it either. I saw a few with middle aged people doing this crap. There's was one overweight guy, walking on the beach, no shirt, smoking a cigar and making money for acting like this.

In a world where money is the end all and be all of life itself, they were clever enough to exploit a way to make lots of it for doing basically nothing. Listened to an old Timothy Leary acid trip...Huxley and cultural associates(Tavistock) were in attendance, while he rambled on about the future unity of humanity🤔. Leary was into down loading "consciousness". MK Ultra dupe or plant?
Huxley is when the supply chain still provides. Orwell is when permanent austerity takes over.

There's a reason for why the phone used to be called a "cell" phone. When they stopped calling them "cell" phones and started calling them "smart" phones, I remember saying to my brother and my girlfriend at the time, "That's a smart way to trick the population into wanting their own prison cell (phone)." Here we are now, about 16 years later. Almost everyone has a smartphone but the population, as a whole, is noticeably dumber. Just about everyone has their head stuck in a bird box. Most people get anxious if they get removed from their cell. People don't even realize that they agreed to forfeit their freedom to have and use their own personal prison cell/not so smartphone.

Correction: Huxley did not "fear" anything. He along with his brother Julian, and his father before him, helped invent these very strategies, being deeply involved in this process, connected to Brittish Intelligence Agencies as well as "think tanks" and various elite "round tables". He only revealed the method.

I agree so much with the guy that’s a therapist. I went to school for a long time to become a therapist. I finally got fully licensed to practice on my own because that’s another 2 years of work AFTER you complete a masters degree. I just don’t want or maybe can’t do it anymore. I quit my job a month ago and now realize that I’m probably going to have to get another job in the field because of finances. It pays 3xs what I could get paid doing anything else. But I agree people are having normal responses to their environment. It’s so hard to hold space for someone while they recount what a crappy life they have had and/or are having and I’m expected as the “professional” to have all the answers to fix them and their problems when I’m over here feeling the same way and looking for the same answers. Thanks for the video and all the work y’all do! It allows me to feel not so alone in this crazy clown world we live in.

It's my rational guess this is why so many people are on drugs today. They are just trying to numb themselves.
Maybe the problems can only be identified in a mirror which unsurprisingly is also where the answers are found. The only thing someone has complete and sole control over (power, willingness and determination) is oneself.

Great presentation guys! I'll be sharing this as much as possible. It's been a rough decade long journey trying to understand the workings of this world on an esoteric level. Lost friends, some family members have distance themselves due to their cognitive dissonance. Unplugging myself from politics, banking, credit, IRS and as much of the system as possible has not been an easy task. Although, as a matter of principle I feel I've made the right choice. Sacrifices must be made in order to regain some measure of freedom. Good luck out there everyone. I don't think we've seen the worst of things yet. Which is hard to believe but nevertheless...

Same here which is why I just started reading books again especially since I read that reading uses a different part of the brain. And prolonged exposure to blue light from screens adversely affect your health and eyesight. Blue blockers are in order as well as reduced screen time.

Am I the only one that eagerly anticipates each one of the videos from this channel and then watches them more than once and some times twice in a row when they first come out? hate to say it but the acceleration towards the brave new world began around '08. the writings been on the wall for a looong time.
We live in a mixture of Huxley's and Orwell's version of what they predicted and it is much worse than they thought. It will continue to deteriorate at a much faster rate than it took to get to this point. In a few more generations this place will be unrecognizable. Glad I am older and hopefully never get to see it because this world is soul crushing as it is......

This exact discussion has been popping up more and more with the people I talk to. People I wouldn't even have suspected read either book. We pretty much universally agree that technology and the information we've freely handed over to those who want power over us don't need to hide their true goals. At this point we'll know their true goals and keep on using Facebook, tic tok, and letting them map all our social interactions. We'll let freedom slowly drain away as long as they don't mess with us personally.
See, it's the conflict itself people are now afraid of most - not the slavery. That will be why the needed revolution is no longer possible...

Can anybody explain to me how a major cosmopolitan city in the U.S., San Francisco, becomes uninhabitable without the intervention of the National Guard and the Federal Government? You can systematically destroy a major city from the local government level and that's considered freedom? The entire area is off limits to those of us who used to work and visit there. Is anyone in government paying any attention?
