It’s very nice but strange how the pattern doesn’t show along the cutting bevel is the Damascus fake

The cutting edge of the blade has been sharpened and polished. This is why you are not seeing the pattern of the Damascus on the cutting edge. The Damascus has been hand forged by Shaun Hanson.
