Thanks also for your recent support, it means a lot. In the new year I plan to release videos on a much more regular basis and to a higher standard!
This is another excellent retro software video running under Apple's classic OS 9 operating system. Office 2001, was the first version of Microsoft Office for the Mac that, I ever owned and paid full price for. I enjoyed using Office 2001, for about 5-years until buying my new glossy white 20-inch G5 iMac which, shipped with OS X 10.3 Panther. The funny thing is that, if you ever decide to show case IBM's Via Voice (voice typing software) which, I also own it will actuary work better under OS 9 with Office 2001, than it does under OS X with Office 2004. What, I liked best about both Office 2001 and Office 2004, was that Microsoft during this time period had a separate development team for their Mac only version of Office. This is why, both versions have a different E-mail program than Outlook which, I always enjoyed (smile...smile).
Hey that's really interesting!
Thanks for sharing your experience and insight as always. :-)
Really appreciate these comments, and you watching these videos, it helps a lot!
This'll probably be my last video of the year, so I hope you have a great festive season. Wishing you a great 2022 also. :)
Word art is and always will be magnificent
Fully agree!!!
Best office for OS9 was Office 98. Office 2001 was just more bloat added that really didn't offer anything extra, and wasn't needed.
Ooh that’s interesting, I’ll have to try office 98 then!!
Cheers.
