There are obviously other weapon choices you can use for the final boss to speed that encounter up. I know a lot of people like Anarchy + Mountaintop, and from my experience that's around a 5 phase, BUT from my testing I found that required a lot more effort than Leviathan's Breath. Use what you want there.
I’m wondering how a precharged with volley Grand Overture would do, since during DPS when you aren’t volley dumping on boss you could get lots of stacks from two-tapping clones, pair with the Heal Clip Abberrant rocket sidearm for pinch heals in a few shots

Doing this solo on Hunter is... hell. Especially the last encounter. 9:13 For DPS on Raneiks, I used Facet of Command with Silence and Squall + Hailspikes to cut out the reloads; but out of curiousity, I tried Raiden Flux Arcstrider with Tractor Cannon for this fight, and it was surprisingly really good. Did more damage per rotation than my voltshot Hullabaloo, and I had no trouble ad clearing and surviving with Combination Blow and Lethal Current. Another trick I used for Raneiks is there's a safe spot in the corner left side of the door that removes your suppressor buff if you need a quick mental reset. AFK'd there to eat dinner, came back refreshed.

They NEED to give hunters some form of combat sustain. Warlocks and Titans have multiple ways to stay in the fight but hunters just... don't. Hunters rely way too heavily on kill effects to survive.
Been trying the solo flawless on Hunter for about 2 weeks now because I'm stubborn and out of all the strats I've tried for the final boss, this guide has had the most consistent one so far. I've gotten down to a fourth of the health bar left 3 times now before those runs died to weird glitches (enemy AI breaking, softlocked in the first room from enemies not respawning after a DPS phase, dying from a lingering instance of tick damage from lightning even while airborne and very clearly not in lightning), and one of my more recent runs was literally in its final DPS phase to win when I had a grapple tangle spawn atop the nuke and for some reason interaction priority always favors the tangle so I nabbed the wrong thing and got killed when I went back to grab the real one 😭 This thing's brutal on Hunter and the glitches REALLY aren't helping, but at least first encounter is a breeze now and I can comfortably three phase (sometimes two phase if I'm lucky with servitor placement) the first boss thanks to Wardcliff coil + radiant dance machines. I'm getting the soul sucked out of me by this final boss, but I'm gonna keep at it- thanks for the killer guide ✨
I went through all of my possible options for heavy weapon damage (after using my SES-super) and I ended up arriving at the same conclusion for the first boss... Dimensional Hypotrochoid. Parasite was kind of similar but tricker to use, and pretty much anything else resulted in less damage or risky self explosions.
What he ^ said! Just make sure that when you let it drop, you specifically get the brig to one shot instead of outright killing it. Otherwise, when you "restart" the room, it'll respawn at full health and you'll likely do it all over again.
I did this last night and trying to figure out what to use was rough, I mainly did gathering storm with star eater for first and second encounter, and final I used prismatic with threaded Spector. Boss and the clones would go after the Spector so I could heal and have some room, i used dragons breath for damage (not the greatest I know) it took me like almost like 10 or so damage phases to kill him
try ex diris + mothkeepers. ez infinite overshield when u have 39 shots and get a void moth every two hits, plus they buffed the impact dmg like crazy. u can do a good rotation with any gl. 1 shot kinetic, 2 ex diris (for overshield), then empty gl mag.
Doing this on contest with 3 hunters was hell. I think it was practically impossible to even damage the final boss without getting shredded by the clones, and watching out for the anomaly strikes. Hunters just don’t have self-sustain in anyway without kill activated methods
Radiant dance machines and wardcliff in question (for Raneiks) Edit: On the note of error code possibility: you're solo, it's way lower chance, and even in a FT of 3 I've never had an issue with error codes while using Wardcliff coil + whatever my teammates use
Any other pointers on the two bomb rooms? After hitting all four panels, swapping from operator to scanner is where i get killed most of the time due to the time it takes to drop/pick-up the augments. I either get swarmed by the freaks or I get shot to crap by the added clones. Also, there isn't much place to hide to recover. I was thinking going invis or using clones would help but I still pull argo from anything in the room. Again, even when invis.
If you're using pure void, you can check how I did the rooms on my Solo Flawless Master (this might be the absolute best strategy if you're really struggling). If you're on Prismatic, something you could try is to bait the freaks to an area that lets you break their shields but don't kill them, and then after you shoot the fourth panel, you could kill one with something like Chill Clip (or Ascension, etc.) to go invis, and kill them, since once you shoot the 4th panel, the doors close so they can't enter the room anymore.
@@AllThePlayers Thank you for the suggestion, I tried running Omni + pure void. I'm still dying a ton but it is probably because I just suck. Lol, I can't even get to the first damage phase ;-P. I can handle the first room just fine, no issues. I just don't have enough damage mitigation even at 100 resilience for the bomb rooms. Gonna get some sleep and attempt tomorrow. Maybe I'll get it next time. Again, thanks and congrats on your run though. That bug with the scanner not spawning was pretty lame but hey, when in doubt, just guess ;-P
just a heads up, idk why it happens, but twice ive died to the final bosses wipe mechanic during dps while im safely in the bunker and dunked the nuke to shut the door with ample time. im not sure what causes it, but just a heads up that it could happen and end your run even when you did everything right.
luckily for me it was while i was with my fireteam, but they both lived and I died. So clearly its some bug since we were all in the bunker together and i was the one that dunked and then died like 3 seconds later as the wipe went past me
Not sure if im unlucky, but with Hunter ive had the same issue where around 7-8th phase the scanner doesnt spawn in after killing both clones. This has happened 3 times now guessing the correct number hasnt worked out when that happens yet :D

Basic answer checks are celestial nighthawk maybe radiant buff maybe the fragment for extra light damage to dark debuffed enemies maybe weaken applied to enemy on top of that
One thing I’d change is use warcliff for 1st boss it melts them Oop he mentioned it but I will say I never got an error code from the 10 times I’ve fought it
Yeah I recorded this before I had actually thoroughly tested Wardcliff and I've used it in 5 solo runs now with no issues, so on my Warlock one I'm just gonna say to use that.

For supers, T and W have got harder hitting counterparts. CC is strand for Titans with abeyant leap spam or Stasis for warlock with bleak watcher. Sustain/support - Titan on void now with barricade + overshield. This is the only area where you can debate Hunter. Void. Thats it. Titan also has banner of war + team wide woven mail. Warlock undisputed on solar with speakers helm and the best super in the game - song of flame or well of radiance for right scenarios. If you think GG for damage. You are wrong. T crash and twilight arsenal both do more damage. Nova bomb also does more damage with star eaters than GG with celestial. Both Warlock and Titan have multiple built in subclass tools to heal or apply DR buffs. Subclass unique DR/heals for hunter are combination blow and frost armor via frozen enemy kills which is the hardest way to get frost armor out of all 3. Warlock just has to freeze enemies without killing. Titan just have to shatter frozen enemies or crystals, again very easy. Thats what im on. Did i miss anything?
@@damsdee2214 i think youre a bit stuck watching UA-camrs build than anything first if were talking about metas omni hunter is one of if not most used support builds in GMs Also thundercrash is risky and cant be used on every boss also it wastes a lot of dps time Song of flame is glitched right now due to ignition and even when it isnt its not even that good same with well it is heavily nerfed, i mean warlock and it always seems like the solar supers are the most useless i only use song of flame to proc demo most of the times tho i do agree that speaker sight is insanely good support and even add clear due to the fragment buff With gg u missed the part of why it was nerfed its not because the super itself being overpowered its because celestial nighthawks pairs with still haunt which gives hunter the highest dps in the game for precession bosses add div to it and its every boss The closest thing that comes close to it is sanguine alchemy but that requires a teammate to have well Also how is frost armor hard to get on a hunter its literally just caliban liar add mods to get an orb on each kill at a mod to collect orbs when u doge and use the fragment on prismatic and its literally easy frost armor on each kill You don’t need to freeze enemies to get frost armor for hunters

Yeah “hard” is all relative and you can choose different builds that may be slightly less damage output but are much safer. I haven’t played the dungeon just yet but traditionally Void Hunter, Arc Hunter with Assassin’s Cowl or Solar Hunter (permanent Restoration) are the safer solo builds. Prismatic Hunter has decently safe builds like this but a little less reliable and consistent on the sustainability. That isn’t downplaying that yes, things like Consecration spamming and the handful of Warlock builds (mainly just having no effort Devour as the Prismatic kit mixed with what ever you want for your build) are by and large better.
@@amorfati4927 Having healing grenade glued to solar hunter is so lame, having straight up no survivability without it is such a design problem that needs to be addressed.
@@amorfati4927 trust me man I have used those builds in almost all of my runs of other dungeons and yes they work extremely well, problem is void is disabled till tomorrow arc hunter with cowls won't work on final boss, and tier 1 resto is sadly weaker than other stuff
@@amorfati4927all those builds rely on kills to proc healing. You have to feed the build in order to survive. As long as there are red bars you can’t be touched. The boss damage phase you are fighting all boss tiers. The copies aren’t super tanky but they aren’t close to a one shot. My hunter just struggles on it. Restoration grenade is the only on demand heals for hunter. Thats at least doesn’t change your whole build. Hunters just aren’t built for soloing this boss. Still possible, but harder. Using no hesitation has made it so much easier with my fireteam. But that does nothing for solo. Maybe there’s so magical class I haven’t thought of, but so far I haven’t been able to come up with anything that counters the damage phase mechanics for hunter.
If it helps, you can just skip the entire first encounter by doing an OOB, and it's super easy to do. Ball duping is faster, but for a solo run, the OOB is so much easier
@@brandonspeed how many times are u wiping that 15-20 min is a timesave just run each individual encounter until u got it down then run it through. Like I said, easiest part of the dungeon, if you can’t get that done u aren’t getting final done lmaooo
@multiplepotatoes9110 I'm not wiping at all, lol. I beat it on contest twice. But for the first encounter with the ball duping, I was beating it solo in under 4 minutes, and the oob was 4-5 minutes. I haven't bothered doing solo flawless yet, but with skipping the first encounter, I can get to the final boss solo in like 25-30 minutes. If people are able to save time and skip an encounter while still getting the loot. Why not? Seems kinda dumb not to skip it while it's still possible to do so IMO 🤷 but play the game however you'd like

On big Brig - what you mean despawn nook it is not exploding when timer goes to 0? Or drop it to space and just focus on big Brig?
Nukes despawn when they get to 0, they don’t wipe you
Maybe a bug? Bc I tried a solo run 30 min ago and when the timer reached 0 the nuke exploded and wiped me just like they do in DSC

the mountaintop shot applies weaken if you have the weakening GL artifact mod enabled. radiant also buffs GG
if you let the ord despawn you can get a new one now

@@amorfati4927all those builds rely on kills to proc healing. You have to feed the build in order to survive. As long as there are red bars you can’t be touched. The boss damage phase you are fighting all boss tiers. The copies aren’t super tanky but they aren’t close to a one shot. My hunter just struggles on it. Restoration grenade is the only on demand heals for hunter. Thats at least doesn’t change your whole build.
Hunters just aren’t built for soloing this boss. Still possible, but harder. Using no hesitation has made it so much easier with my fireteam. But that does nothing for solo. Maybe there’s so magical class I haven’t thought of, but so far I haven’t been able to come up with anything that counters the damage phase mechanics for hunter.

interact key, then when its about 75 to 80% switch to a weapon. Gotta time it just right. Really easy once you get it down.
If it helps, you can just skip the entire first encounter by doing an OOB, and it's super easy to do. Ball duping is faster, but for a solo run, the OOB is so much easier
First encounter is the easiest part why would u need to oob 😭

@@brandonspeed how many times are u wiping that 15-20 min is a timesave just run each individual encounter until u got it down then run it through. Like I said, easiest part of the dungeon, if you can’t get that done u aren’t getting final done lmaooo
@multiplepotatoes9110 I'm not wiping at all, lol. I beat it on contest twice. But for the first encounter with the ball duping, I was beating it solo in under 4 minutes, and the oob was 4-5 minutes. I haven't bothered doing solo flawless yet, but with skipping the first encounter, I can get to the final boss solo in like 25-30 minutes. If people are able to save time and skip an encounter while still getting the loot. Why not? Seems kinda dumb not to skip it while it's still possible to do so IMO 🤷 but play the game however you'd like
