She’s the reason we had a 70m hole staring us in the face. I love her, and what she did for the club won’t be forgotten but stop waffling and talking nonsense:
@@AttackerNumberTwo not at all, she had the plan to sell one of our stars for big money. As much as we all love Gordon Bruno Botman or Isak, that's exactly what we needed to go again. If we had sold AG for 80m or someone activated that bruno 100mil release clause we would have been able to spend again like the previous summer windows. But instead we sold 2 very promising young players and bought a 5th choice keeper for 20mil.
It’s a sorry state when sporting directors come out and make statements, he should be working in the background and just get on with his job. Stinks of covering his own back for a crap window.
Disagree, mate. We want communication from the club. He gave a 90 minute open session to invited journalists. We may never know the reasons why Amanda left. But we have no debt after the sales to balance P S fcking R.
@@rogercookcouk Totally agree Roger about communication, however most of it was a blame game by him, system was set up wrong, Eddie only wanted one player etc etc and took no responsibility himself.
Mitchell’s message was from the very top. This how the the Saudis are going to run the club going forward with the new structure in place. Eddie is going to get on board or leave is the message I got and it came from Yasser
This is how I’m reading it too - the recently realigned power structure is insisting on a new way of running things, and Mitchell’s interview is essentially about sending a coded public message to Eddie to either “fit in or f**k off”. I think Eddie’s next press conference will be revealing, and how it unfolds will say a lot about whether or not he’ll be staying medium to long term. Personally, I hope that Eddie can adapt to and work with the changes, as I have enormous respect and appreciation for what he has done at the club to this point, and I believe that he’s capable of taking us to the next level, and beyond. To be sure, it’s “interesting times” at the Toon.
Depends on who you read the quotes from the same interview has had about 6 different spins on it from journalists. Bizarre to me why the interview wasn't filmed for NUFCTV like, literally, every other interview done by the club. Rather than leaving it open to so much interpretation. I'm not naive enough to think things are, even remotely, warm and friendly in the club at the minute, but certain members of the media seem desperate to push the doom and gloom angle, and the club are making it easy for them.
Some points about Mitchell that worry me. He was appointed back in March/April time I believe but didn't step over the Threshold until AS/MG had gone. Was it a case of I'm not doing anything while they are at the club? At his level, just like me on the shop floor so to speak, you start work on day one not sit back for seven weeks and then blame everyone else (EH)for the mess. Bad management.! Why air our dirty washing in public, again bad management. He said Eddie was not involved in negotiations, so presumably the fuck up is his not Eddies. He seemed to make it clear EH has no future under him. I don't trust him any further than I can throw him.
Hi Chris, did Mitchell not say Eddie only wanted only one player or no one, as he felt no one else strengthened us, also he said they last bid on him 2 weeks before the end of the window and that Eddie was updated daily. It appears to me no one is taking responsibility for that windows planning. I would love Mandy back for Eales
In my opinion it feels like the PIF want a new manager. Howe was Amanda's choice and I reckon Eals is trying to force his hand. Why do we need the "director of football" making statements and being so high profile? Do we ever hear this from Man City, Liverpool, Spurs etc? No. I don't even know the names of their backroom staff and let's face it, a DoF should be considered backroom staff.
A point on recruitment. Having a great scheme and efficient, data driven setup of how you’re going to get players in doesn’t matter if you don’t get any in. Having a shit, chaotic, inefficient system that’s a total cowboy setup doesn’t matter as long as you can get players in. Would I rather have one than the other? Probably the latter, as if you have a progressive coach, you can bring the mediocre players on.
@@georgemorley1029 Exactly. This staff of coaches has proven to me their ability to improve player's performance. These people currently in the board room haven't proven shit!

Hi Chris, I love watching your channel and sharing now. You have valid points, my friend, my channel we have to wait and see, if the player's I mentioned can score 10 each or I hope more goals
Too many assumptions here, no one knew if we actually did went for Chiesa or any other players we have to remember that we dont offer any european football and Mitchell would definitely want to keep player rejections under the rug. And as for Darren Eales, based on his record, his speciality is fan acquisitions and retention during his time at Spurs he did well expanding them globally and at Atalanta fc when it had zero fans. I'm not sure if his specialisation is what Newcastle needs as we have no difficulties in filling the stadium or selling the shirts.
Dan Ashworth said one thing that made sense: there's no point a DOF signing players that the manager/head coach doesn't want. He won't play them so it's a waste of the budget. Selling players like Minteh and Anderson is the blueprint Mitchell wants, but it won't always work out like that. We can gamble on development players to sell on when our first team is solid from front to back.
There's an uneasy feel to the club hierarchy for me now, last year under Stavely and Eddie I thought we might be building something good, at the moment with slippery Eales I don't see that, has Mitchell been brought in to make do? Is Eddie losing heart and thinking about a change, why are the players still a yard off the pace three games into the season, it's all a bit baffling?
We won’t be held to ransom…so we’ll just sit and stagnate whilst everyone else strengthens, but safe in the knowledge that we haven’t been taken advantage of? Pathetic. A manager who reckons there’s only one centre half that could possibly improve us when your current pairing is burn and krafth, combined turning circle of the titanic, and a dof who isn’t standing up to his nonsense, save an embarrassing 11th hour trolley dash for a right winger that we’ve needed for two seasons now, Ashley with better comms, that’s this lot, I’ll believe what’s being said when I see them spend some money in January. And you know what the excuse will be then? Oh it’s an expensive window, we couldn’t possibly do any business, well wait until the summer, by which point the likes of isak and bruno will be offski, sensing the total lack of ambition, and I will not blame them. Utter shit show, if people are sated by this, then all I can say is they’re easily pleased.
Spot on, I've taken a dislike to him already. I'm not a Howe worshipper, he's made a few mistakes, but that is human. Plus the likes of Tripps, Bruno, Tonali, Gordon, Barnes, Hall etc does not make it look like a scouting shit show does it. Steve Nickson has done brilliantly.
@@kevinwilliams1602 I’m torn on Howe, you’re right, he brought back dignity competence and a discernible style of play, but I do worry he’s not got the sheer ruthlessness to take us to the next level, the continual playing of Murphy and longstaff about others is maddening, as was the stubborn perseverance of burn at left back last season, which cost us points. The PSR situation, the Saudis have bad ass cartel lawyers, roll the dice, spend some serious coin, bank on that top 4 finish, worst comes to worst, pay the fine, chicken feed to them…
