Glad to hear you were able to move in. Now you will be close to the job site and things will go much quicker.
Thank you!
Yes it's much better being on site and not having to go back n forth all the time.
The front facade looks great, well-done Anna. I love that you share your travels with us. Today's locations were beautiful. Thank you. 🌷
Glad you enjoyed it!
Yes, she did an amazing job on that!!
I’m so excited that you have finally moved in! I’m sure Anna will have in lovely and comfortable in no time! Congratulations on so much finally coming together for you!🧡🤍🧡
Thank you so much!!
I wish I could hit the "Like" button several times. The scenery from your little trips is simply gorgeous. Thank you for not only sharing your Italian villa adventure with us, but also your travel adventures with us.
Thank you!
I am glad you liked it!
Looks so beautiful there!!!
🙏🏼
Glad to see you back. Happy for you both that you're finally going to be able to move on site. The travel part was just beautiful. Italy has to be my next destination.
Yes do visit! Thank you!
Nice to see what has kept you two busy! Both buildings will be beautiful spaces. Love your attention to detail and the plans to replicate the plasterwork on the Villa. Travel footage is gorgeous! Can’t wait to see more! Thanks for sharing your adventures!
Thank you so much! 😊
Congratulations 🎉🎉
It’s about time right?!!😂😂
It’s all looking great. Best wishes to you and Anna and the dogs in your new home.
Yes! 😂 Thank you!
It's very exciting to see how things coming together after having so many delays. It's going to be nice and great place to live on property in the Stables apartment while you go hard on the Villa soon. I'm looking forward to it. You guys are making a home.
Yes can't wait!
As soon as autumn hit we are going to get going inside the villa, most likely going to start tracing the walls for electricity and so on. But before that we still have some minor things to finish in the stables.
wonderful! Still watching from Phoenix 🏜️❤
That's great!
I hope you enjoyed it!
Glad to see that you're almost living on the property! For so many reasons. 🤗
Yes we are, not in the villa though! Basically camping indoors 😂
@@VillaAroldi at least your on the grounds! 😊 Your saving rent! 💰😉 Which in a renovation is a good thing.
@@anne4083 Exactly, it's much better being here all the time. Saves us a lot of time too.
Good to see you almost able to use part of the property as living space.
Yes, much better than the old noisy apartment, even though it's basically camping indoors 😂
Great episode. I forgot how beautiful the Garda area is this time of the year!
Thank you John!
Garda is fantastic, truly is one of the great lakes. Water is amazing as well.
Well worth a trip but you really have to choose when to go as it's very touristy!
So nice to see you both again, i missed you guys!
Thank you!
Welcome back! Best of luck, moving in!
Thank you, well needed 😂
👯♀️👯♀️👯♀️👯♀️yay your back, lovely to see you both and the doggies.
Yes finally!
Good to see your update, and you’re looking a little less stressed out which is nice to see! Good progress 👍🏼
Thank you for watching!
Yes, probably a bit less stressed at the moment, been taking it quite easy lately as it's been very warm as well.
OMG -- you guys have tons of patience! Looks great! I'm glad things are progressing now. Blessings from Texas! :)
Haha yes, it's a project for years this 😂
Fantastic news, I just hope those air conditioning units work as advertised because there is a lot of hot weather yet to come.
They are working and they are well needed! Yesterday we had 41 degrees here 😫
Thank you for the beautiful footage!! I think you must be so patient, having to rely on others for the fittings, and doing work you cantdo yourself. Is it just a little slow in Italy? Anyway I am glad you are both back, I so enjoy your vlogs!!
Thank you!
Things get paused as we cant do certain things if other things aren't done before so in the mean time we are doing what we can do ourself. But yes, it's frustrating moving along at such a slow pace, on the other hand we are not really in a rush.
Oh,no flooding in the house!
Yes, every rain we have a small canal down there, but it will all be fixed!
Beautiful scenery!
How do you plan to finish the wall to ceiling interface? I see you have left a gap, like you did at the floor. Is that the finished product?
Yes that's finished, we are putting a led strip arouond the ceiling up there and the floor bit will hardly be visible once the floor matts are in, it's for ventilation of the walls behind.
Are these day trips that you have taken? Did you bring the pups with you and were the places you stayed accommodate the dogs? Nice footage and change of music.
Yes just day trips with the dogs but we also do getaways with and without dogs, it's not too hard to find places in Italy where the allow dogs, at least not smaller dogs.
Buono da vederete eAnna di nuovo! Potresti voler considerare un sigillante invece di vernice a questo punto. La vernice si scheggia.
For the door handle? I think it's just a case of finding one that has a better type of lacquer. Similar to car rims etc.
pozdrawiam i dziękuję
Thank you!
good to see you back, i miss tony. he reminds me of poppy from 'life by living'. they have their own agenda. i think they were homo sapien in their previous life and they are just continuing their journey in this form. lol
Haha, you could be onto something!
@@VillaAroldi lol
I watch that one as well, lovely couple aren’t they and of course the dogs x
@@alisoncoomber3698 yes, absolutely. poppy actually choose to be where he is at right now. im glad the couple took him in.
And when will be the end of restouration?
Not sure, maybe a year from now, maybe two?. It really is impossible to tell.
✨🌞✨
🙏🏼
Is there a Ikea or McDonalds close? You could use their public Internet to upload.
Unfortunately not and I actually tried that when we were away, I got upload speads of basically 10kb/s, so it would have taken me days to upload at that pace 😂
Have you thought about star link?@@VillaAroldi
Like.
Thanks for the visit!
....❤😁

Why doesn't the wall go all the way down to the floor?
They are ventilated walls, so there is a ventilation membrane behind the plaster and openings top to bottom to keep them free from being damp and thus staining the walls.
@@VillaAroldi That's new to me. Is that common in Italy? Scandinavia?
@@NOLAfugee Not really, we mostly build our houses in wood with well drained foundations etc. This stable is just placed straight onto the dirt which is causing some problems with the walls being damp. We are making a drainage around though which will probably help.
Vi prego di scusare la mia mancanza di chiarezza! No, intendevo i tuoi pavimenti in cemento per tenere giù la polvere.
For the concrete floors if they start flake it won't matter, we will put a rubber matt on them as soon as the space is converted into a gym.
Why are you painting these floors?
Just to keep the rooms a bit cleaner, having raw untreated concrete indoors is not great, so it's just a solution until we are putting the floor mats in when we are converting it to a gym.
@@VillaAroldi Ahh... I thought you were doing this in the whole house and with Modena, the tile center of Italy, just up the road from Parma... I was a bit dismayed.
Btw when your husband is explaining this and that, he really needs to point out what use each room will have, so we can also visualize it. Right now You know, but they are just white walls to us.
Nooo, we are doing tiles in most of the rooms.
I think it's been told numerous times in the past videos, but the white rooms will be converted into a gym and spa once we can move into the villa, for now it will be our accommodation for the foreseeable future though. @@lagringa7518
@@VillaAroldi Ayy.... sorry, I've been kind of looking at your videos out of sequence 😳, as I got the beginning and now the latest as they don't seem to be coming up on my notifications.
Haha, don't worry! They are all numbered though if you want to see them in order. @@lagringa7518
