when you said ‘they like each other huh’ it reminded me of something Bang Pd (their CEO) said, when asked about why there aren’t bad relationship rumours between the members, he said they love each other to death, and that they naturally fight as people do, but always resolve inner conflict as a team. also recently at a press conference they were asked why they don’t have personal scandals, Jimin replied that because their environment is one where everyone knows they’re on each other’s side, naturally it makes them value their team. Other than their music, it’s one of the truly special parts about bangtan
I've seen many UA-camrs reacting to this vid and so far you are the only one who understands Jin's cow-lawsuit joke. It made me smile. Yes you are right about them being so close with each other. I have once read somewhere someone close to them said they love each other so much they don't know what to do! If you search UA-cam, I can guarantee you there a tons of videos that showcase their affection towards one another. I truly enjoy your reactions coz you KNOW the background story & understands the KPop scene in South Korea so I feel I can trust your commentaries. Looking forward to watch more BTS reactions. Ex BigHit trainee, who trained with BTS members told that when they trained atmosphere in BigHit among trainees was very different from other entertainment companies. RM who was first trainee picked for Bangtan project always preached to them to help each other succeed, help each other when you see that someone struggling. He always told them let's have a healthy competition because no one knows who will end up in one group latter on.
I think that is why BTS have such good relationship, they didn't learned to see each other with anger or hate. So it was easier to get close. And they needed to be close because when group was formed all 7 was living in one apartment and shared 1 room for a while. And even now when they have money and even invested in real estate, they still live together in one place.
I think Jimin once said that they sometimes don't need words to communicate, because they so attuned to each other they understand each other that day vibe just by looking.

I can’t remember well wether it was an interview or vlive … BTS themselves said that.... Jhope was a trainee in JYP, Bang PD used to work with JYP … so when they split up, Jhope was transferred to Bighit thus among BTS members, Jhope is the first Bighit Trainee...
BTS was supposed to be a hiphop group & RM was the maknae at that time but eventually they left or whatever …… RM was the only original member left thus he is the first BTS member among BTS

Once in an acceptance speech, Yoongi thanked all the parents who raised these 7 brothers. I thought that was unbelievably sweet. It's so sad that you are surprised by their affection because it is so rare in groups. From what I've heard of the rookie groups, they are being inspired by their BTS sunbaenims to have good chemistry and artistry. Hoping for better days. 💜
flyushkifly I've been noticing a lot of changes in the industry after BTS. There are more groups coming out who write their own music and some agencies are letting them speak more freely about social issues.

Jessi said the same thing about their relationship once in a live I remember, she said she was very surprised and I remember being surprised that it surprised her... that actually says a lot on all those kpop groups. I’m happy and proud that BTS have such a strong and good and organic relationship with each other. Thats definitely one of the things that lead them this far.

unlike other kpop group BTS is still living together until now...even though they do have their own different apartment they still wanted to live together.....and i can tell that they're really close to each other....and also unlike any kpop management bighit doesnt have any strict rules for their artist....love your reactions....pls react to BTS songs Ma city, Paldogangsan, Spinebreaker and Baepsae...thank you
The seven members all still live together and have done so since before their debut. They each have bought homes and/or apartments, but still prefer to live together.
I think they love eachother and Mr Bang. I mean, I've never seen idols making fun and joking around with their CEOs before. They joke with him abouthis diet on award wining speaches and he made practical jokes towards BTS too.
RM his IQ is 148. He watched Friends videos (all videos) the first with Korean subtitles, next English subtitles and next without subtitles. He is genius. He is so lucky his parents support his dream all time.
Still all members living together since they were trainees. Bighit tell them you can live own place but they chose to living together.

Namjoon's mom actually didn't support his music to begin with, because as he was in the top 1% of all Korea he could have done something like be a doctor, architect, or other elite type job. She even trashed the equipment he used for making music so that he'd be forced to focus on his studies. He told her he could be in the top 1% or he could be the very top, and when she eventually gave in, he had a lot to prove.
sharron roe I’ve never heard him speak about that so that’s news to me. I did know he was top 1%. I’ve heard about Yoongi’s parents throwing away he’s lyrics and them getting in a lot of fights.

You are the first person I've seen react to this video who is fluent in Korean so it was interesting seeing how you could easily understand Jin's Dad jokes and their answers in interviews. Like the fact that you heard Jungkook's Busan accent. It was so awesome! Only slight criticism I have is I wish you paused whenever you had a longer comment and looked at the camera to speak. I'm guessing you didn't want the video to be too long, but most of us are fine with long videos! I hope you didn't miss anything! Oh, and also you speak quietly and there was once or twice I couldn't hear a word or two that you said because the sound from the video was louder. But I really appreciated your insights and knowledge of the Kpop industry and it makes me happy that you can see how much they love each other, just with this one video. They bicker like brothers and are so close and adorable with each other that it makes me love them even more. I think their bond is a big part of why they are so popular. Fans love to see them interact and since they have such a huge part in creating their music, their close relationship helps them produce better music. Many of their songs written/produced are so relatable to ARMY/FANS (Young & Old) coz they sang about Life Struggles, Self-Love, Mental Health, Social Taboos, Youth Problems, Motivational, Relationships, etc. Some ARMY said BTS has helped them to overcome their depressions, struggles, sickness and they survive because of these 7 hardworking, humble and talented young men. I really enjoyed your reaction! One of the things I really admire about BTS is that they are always seeking to do BETTER, to do MORE. They write and produce songs collaboratively, with everyone having a chance to add their input. They're ALWAYS working, always hustling, and even though they're just THAT RICH now, they never stop working because they love what they do. I don't know a lot about Kpop as a genre, but I don't know many western artists of ANY genre who do that! Yet BTS remains friendly, open, warm, humble and thankful. I'm proud to be their fan.

J-hope is the reason I found bangtan.. I watched his dance crew neuron on UA-cam and saw in the comments that he was going to debut in an idol group , I didn’t even know what an idol group was but I kept up.. watched the tv shows “ rookie king” “ American hustle life “ one or two half assed shows where they barely got a song in ... yes I bought korean tv channels just to watch them. I love music and books and poetry. They provide more than amazing music.. they give a story and beautiful presentation and they also allow us to see them as people and not just celebs. I am so glad I stumbled across that neuron dance vid in 2012
Coming from an international fan who has been into kpop (and had gotten obsessed with it) since 13 years ago, I’ve been able to see over time that it is really rare that groups are close with each other; I totally agree with you on that. That’s one of the many reasons I had gotten so into bts, because other than their music, which also reflected their passion and originality-not just manufactured and tailored by their company-their bond is so strong.
You can tell that these boys feel so fortunate to have found each other and I know (and they know) their friendship will go beyond their careers.
They’re enjoying the ride together, sharing their passion of music, and what’s cool is I feel that even if they were still underdogs today, they’d still be having the time of their lives together. They’re such a rare package.

14:00 regarding what you said here, I think for Suga for instance, he has fun making beats and producing songs, which is what makes it easy for him to really spend so much of his free time making music. The video didn't completely touch on this, but Suga's initial goal/dream was to become a songwriter/producer and not to become an idol. He has been working/playing around with MIDI equipment since he was 13. He loves making music first and foremost, and it's great to see that (very refreshing compared to what you see from most idols). I'm glad you talked about it, so thank you.
"this guy is really handsome" yasss that's my bias V, he was elected the most handsome face by a US magazine last year i believe. And he's the king of charisma really, a lot of idols look up to him bc of the way he performs.
But what caught my attention to him was actually his deep voice in DNA, the first MV of them I've ever watched. You should check it out too ;)

Thank you for your thoughts and insight - thank you for taking a serious and unbiased look at them, it means a lot.
They are very smart, and one thing I really admire about them is something they have said in interviews when asked about the subjects addressed in their lyrics or their philanthropy efforts... They say that because their voices are heard, because they are popular and have this public platform, they think it is very important to spread positive messages and encourage others to do so as well. They like to remind us that anyone can do these things - each person can take up the responsibility of improving themselves, improving the world around them etc. I respect that message coming from them because they aren't just preaching, they lead by example.

I really enjoyed your insider knowledge and view of the industry of KPop. I know from a previous video you said your father was/in the entertainment industry in Korea so I am sure you have heard and seen much.... As to you saying that BTS is micromanaged , PD Bang said in an lecture he never set a schedule for them as far as practice or self management. That ‘s how much belief he had in them and how dedicated they’re to their craft and each other, He knew he had a better way to manage a team it was one of the reason he left JYP and went out on his own. I’m going to try to find the lecture and post it for if interested, The one that was English subtitled for I Army was taken down.

BTS music is very personal. They write their lyrics just like how they talk. Their music speaks for them. They put all their thoughts in their music. Thats what I love most about them. With your extensive knowledge I would really trust your intuitions on a lot of Kpop groups, their members, and their star factor!! Not to be dramatic but it’s amazing that we’re living in the same era BTS is killing it - and the fact that the seven were able to find each other and grow together. Jimin is featured heavily in their newest album in response to your question as to why he isn't utilized more. I will say he is pretty active on a lot of their music though. It's Jin who we wish we would hear more of sometimes. I enjoyed your reaction. Your perspectives are needed for us who are outside of Korean culture.
That song you liked by J-Hope is called Airplane. Also they have had writing, composing and producing credits from day 1, album 1. RM's older stuff (that wasn't your style) is quite hardcore rap, he was still finding himself and facing hateful, unnecessary criticism. Ironically, he is credited with writing/co-composing/co-producing nearly all of their recent more sentimental/ballad type songs. I think you would really like his recent mixtape/playlist called MONO. A lot of expats and Korean-American friends have said it really struck a chord. Also Namjoon has an IQ of 148 - he's literally a genius (IQ exceeding 145).
Hey, absolutely love your reactions. Also the song by Jhope that you asked for the name of is ‘Airplane’. It’s a solo song from his mixtape, although BTS made a pt.2 as a group as well although both have really different styles. Three videos you should definitely react to in my opinion are:

You hit the nail on the head in terms of their closeness. I think there are 3 factors for why BTS members are much closer than the typical kpop group: (1) They went through a lot of hardships during their rookie years and there's nothing like shared trials to bring people close together (2) As you pointed out, RM is an extremely capable leader who has always promoted cooperation over competition (3) Big Hit's positive company culture, as seen in its CEO emphasizing many times that group cohesion is more important than anything else

What you said about the youngest of the group is so true.
Jungkook has actually admitted that once upon a time he was very possessive and selfish.
“Mine was mine, yours was yours, everything was mine.” He said they taught him not to be like that. I really do hope that BTS is happy. I know, as fans we see only what they show us but I do hopefully believe they are great people even with their flaws and imperfections. 💜🤗

That was just a little clip from the Ellen Show in RM's segment. The whole show is worth watching. You might want to check it out. btw, I didn't care for rap much either, but RM's lyrics are often poetic, filled with wordplay and double meanings-- even literary references. So, he taught me to appreciate it. Also, re his IQ.... RM was a guest on the first 20 or so episodes of Problematic Men. (I don't know the Korean name for the show.) They keep asking him back, but he's been too busy.
Speaking about their commitment........i read that the Big Hit staff were really impressed early on by the members because even if they were finished for the day, instead of going back to the dorm they would all head to the practice rooms and work on their own.
re: their affection for each other. Jimin was on a talk show once (in Japan? I can't remember.) and the host asked him about their living arrangements. He asked, 'Now that you're group is doing so well and you're so successful, will you be getting your own house?' Jimin just looked at him with a puzzled expression and said, "But then, I would be so lonely."
In an interview. .the same question was asked to Jin and he replied...when they have vacation time and away from each other. .its like when you leave your wallet or cell phone at home. .you know something is missing..so its like that when they are separate. ...how close is that..I use to wish to have alone time from my three brothers..I love BTS..they are truly special people..☺☺💜💜🇺🇸🇺🇸

Yes BTS are close like real brothers , they live together since they were trainees before they debuted
Sheryl Argonzola and even to this day, they still live together and have only been separated once for 1 month for their first and only vacation in 6 years or even longer.
Suga started out producing and rapping .. he did not evolve into it .. he evolved into dancing and playing idol. He was always a songwriter and producer . Same with NamJoon and I am glad the other members have taken interest in learning how to make music. I know each of them if they want to , will have successful careers outside of bangtan when the time comes.
Jan.2023...Watching this again after following Jino since his YT 'Debut' 2019...look at all the changes since then...both with BTS and DJJINO and no doubt all the Jinosaurs around the world who join in his fantastic livestreams now...!! We have followed him from Kuwait to D.C. (and trips to SKorea, too)...he has grown to love/respect the 'boys' as much as we all do...what a wonderful ride we are on...!!👍💜

I've seen a lot of reactors to this same video and you have the best reaction ever. You pay atention, you apreciate that they are not only a manufacture group but also a group of guys who wants to share they feelins and emotion with people and show that the language it's not a barrier but a step to grow a little bit more. As a not english speaker I spend most of my life hearing different kind of music and in so many languages so I think that make me a little bit more open mind and now, BTS is doing this with the whole world and it is amazing. Since u seemed to enjoy J-Hope's songs, you should do a reaction to the MVs for "Daydream" and "Airplane" from Hope World, when you can. (Airplane's the song you were asking for, btw) Though J-Hope's just a beginner producer, he shows a lot of promise! Judging from credits and other sources, I'd say he did a good 50% of the producing on Hope World. Particularly, Airplane, Baseline, and P.O.P. are the songs he was the main producer on; he helped on the others. (Baseline's the song w/ the dope beat that played during his intro) Also, as a Korean-American, I am really enjoying yr reactions ~ 🙏🏼

Thank you for your reaction, I enjoyed it a lot and your comment about them working hard and not having time to go out is spot on. RM mentioned before that he's very lucky to be with the rest of BTS that none of the members ever miss a day of practice. That's how dedicated they are. I find them very mature in many ways but yet childlike in others. They are good guys, many who know them personally have nothing but praise for their thoughtfulness, friendly and humble personalities. You also wondered if it was at all possible for Suga to write a song a day, well like he said 'not exactly one a day but maybe 200-300 a year. It's not impossible, especially in the earlier years before they started their tours, this is what Suga does best. In 2018, just in 10 months, they released 72 song + mixtapes between them. To-date, they have released a few hundred songs including their mixtapes, Japanese and Korean albums and covers.

I think the main reason that they are so devoted in making their music is because they found a good company that let then express their own color. Their is a interview of Mr. Bang that he said that he let them fight each other but all the members should be involved in solving the problems and they will line up to his office and tell him what happen and what they did to solve it. It is a very smart move I think, they got to know the ticks of each other.

Hello..yes I love BTS and have been ARMY since 2013...its not just their songs..their visuals or personalities. .they educate us..we buy and read books..we go to art museum..look up famous photographer's work...we search famous musician music..we ask questions to other ARMY'S. ..we solve puzzles..do scavengers hunts..BTS makes ARMY stay alert..so we become more confident..more inquisitive. ...more informed..more passionate about the world around us..we are not just fans of a boy group...we are a world family...communicating to each other around the world..getting rid of prejudice. .bullying..abuse..social differences. ..its all because BTS teaches ARMYS to changed the world for a better future...by the way..I am 68yrs old..a BTS halmoni Army and thanks for respecting my grandsons and ARMYS. ..we are not teenage girls..😃👀💜🇺🇸👍
