This is an old video. I was also in Gulmarg on 26th December and in Sonamarg on 27th December. There was no snow on the roads. Snowfall mostly occurs in January, but this was the first time in the last few years (10-20 years) that it did not show up in the december as told by the local people. But Gulmarg and Sonmarg are very beautiful places. Every one must to at once.

Depends on what kind of shoes you’re wearing. I wore my normal trekking shoes they worked okay as they give pretty decent grip. Shoes will decent grip will work okay. What activities you are planning to do ?

I think the hotel was Gulmarg Sahara hotel. It’s close to the main market area. The hotel is average but the food decent n the views are great too. At that time we could not find any hotel. Thats the only hotel that we could find and that too with a local Kashmiri friends help. 😁
