Probably the hardest stage in the entire game, but this time I don't use Savestates during the stage itself.
Anyway, this is a great game. Must-play for anyone who has the SNES, but be warned of its difficulty.

The final level music is amazing

The countless hours of trying to beat that bike level of hell to find out that the last boss is this easy 😑
that bike level was burtal. even with save stats it was very hard. took me 30mins to beat it with save stats lol. i would have been game over a million times. theres no way i,ll ever beat the bike stage legit. thos ppl back in the days were there was no save save stat. that must of been super burtal for them.
It such a difficult game for that lame final boss and end. What were Rare developers thinking? :(

i always found the last boss to be a bit too easy compared to the rest of this game.
A bit?!? She has literally zero frames of animation and 1 predictable attack.

I just made it through the game by myself and without savestates and when I beat the dark queen and the end sequence was rolling I started doing a 5 minute victory dance.... and didn't realize I could shoot when they chased Volkmire xD
so the ending was a bit unsatisfying but the dance was worth it ^^
Doesn't really matter if you shoot or not. Either way, it's insinuated that the bad guys get away.
Well.... after all the hard effort from the previous levels, at least the final boss was something easy to accomplish.
This game is pretty easy actually compared to the NES one. This last level vs the nes one. The NES one is tough as balz.
Ending was a disappointment as it doesn't show Michiko and Zitz being rescued from the Dark Queen and Silas Volkmire.
The battletoads double dragon last boss is much better.
Dude this is like more epic.
Only took a whole year.
Maybe this was part of their life in a simulation bunker.
The first and second level are creative 16-bit remixes of the first two levels of NES Battletoads. The remaining levels are mostly just the NES versions of Turbo Tunnel, Karnath's Lair, Clinger Winger and Rat Race with little variation from the original. Only half as many levels too. The creativity dies down dramatically as the game goes on, culminating to a lame final boss who doesn't even animate. This feels like the obvious result of being a rush job.
It's a shame this franchise didn't live on much longer. The 2020 reboot sucked, but the sheer creativity and variety of the original is something that needed to have been expanded on throughout the years.
A helicopter in space. Sure.

Ive just got to this level on switch i was hoping for more beat em up levels this shit is rubbish think im gonna watch a lay through and call it a day. Ive gotten way further than i did as a kid anyhow
