But then I realised you have to pay for google ads. I haven't given them my billing information, but I don't want to accidentally be spending money without knowing it. once you integrate the app to merchant center and connect your products Google will immediately crawl your site. So you will want to make sure your site is ready to be crawled, but you shouldn't have any problems pausing them after you create them as long as your site has all the requirements Google for your site.

I know you expressed the importance of indicating shipping to get approved, but nothing will be shipped. Everything is digital download. How would I make that clear so that I get approved?

This looks complicated. Are you available to do this kind of set-up and campaign execution work for Shopify merchants? Also, does it make sense to install the Google Tag Manager once instead of the pixel a bunch of times? -Frank
Yeah, good has really cracked down on accounts lately. I have been able to get accounts approved. If an account get suspended I usually chat in to Google to get an idea of why and typically I am able to get it approved. But it is for sure harder to get approved now than it was 6 months ago.
You don’t have to create any type of keywords? How does google know what products of yours to show? Example: if someone types in men’s black work boots. How will google be able to know what boots I want it to show? Thanks
@@musicislife3521 yes you do not need to set up keyword for the item per say. Google will grab them from the product listing and details and use their algorithm to determine what results to display

It’s not best practice to segment campaign for each product. Typically you’ll want to segment campaign for each brand, target roas goal or for best sellers etc. Hope that helps!

I have had mix success using virtual addresses. If it is the only option it is worth a try, but if you have real business location that would be best.

So how do you target with google shopping ads? Does it just use your landing page info/ landing page keywords?
Yeah google reads all the meta data in your landing pages and product pages to determine the targeting. I know it kind of sucks..

Yes, the product image can effect the click price. It you have a higher quality image that performs better it could lower your average CPC.
