my final fantasy xvi demo impressions! | I WAS NOT READY

this is the best demo i’ve ever played, hands down. i’m still thinking about it and i even have the urge to replay it. i’ve always been casually interested in ff16 and i knew i would most likely enjoy it, but my expectations have been raised so much lol. i can see it becoming a part of my top 5 if it maintains this level of quality. the combat is fun and feels good, and the story already has me invested. i know this game was criticized for being inspired by GOT, but i have no issue because i loved GOT lol. in other words, i can really appreciate this story direction and how “mature” it’ll be. i also think CBU3’s decisions to collab with other dev teams and release this demo closer to the release date were super smart decisions on their part. from what i can see, a lot of people have been changing their minds about this game and that makes me glad! i’m honestly hoping for some of my favorite creators to give it a try…
anyway i’m so EXCITED for ff16!!!

Waiting for my ps5 so I'm watching vicariously everyone playing it. I def have the same reaction as you, I am mega-hyped now. Always thought this game would be good from this team, but I didn't feel the real adrenaline-excitement until now. Which honestly is pretty rare for me to get anymore even from good games.
