The sets are actually really cheap on eBay. I remember like a year ago they were like triple price. Now they're the same as original if not lower. Just got a few 2005 sets. 2005 arc fighter was only $40 shipped. You're welcome 👌
those older stormtrooper guns brought nostalgia too, just a megaphone peice with a red stud on the end of the barrel, i actually own quite alot of pre 2010 sets, and hope to purchase the sets i saw as a kid i didnt get XD

2013 Was my favourite year. So many clone wars sets and new figures. It was definitely a step up from 2012

My first ever Lego SW set: 0:55. I believe I was around 6 or 7 at the time. My dad bought it for me on a road trip and I built it while spending a night in a cabin before driving further the next day.
It holds a special place in my heart.
Newer sets are a lot more advanced and accurate and have better figures, but their is something really nice about the simplicity of the early sets.

You were fortunate to get started on these toward the beginning. I only recently started collecting and it's been a struggle to get the sets I want before their short runs are up and so the price too. Lego needs to do OT sets still, not just the new movies and cartoons!
Lol god this made me feel old. I had every set from 1999, 2000, and 2001. Remember opening up everyone of them on Christmas day then staying up late with my dad building them.
From the sets I own I'd say the original Mos Eisley Cantina from 2004, my 4th Lego SW set, great playability for the time + two unique subjects in the face of the one and only Greedo and the Dewback creature. Still lovin'it 15 years later.
This really brings back alot of nostalgia - 8:42 was the first lego set I ever got!

yes very good This wasnt my first but it was the first big set I bought with my own money as a kid I remember it costing about twenty some dollars very fun set to play with for hours on end. I miss being a kid.

This makes me feel really old... Time passes so fast. My first Star Wars set was the Mini MTT, but my Lego hay day was in 2006-2011, in those years, I collected all but one of the sets each year, but the only set I got after 2011 was the newest Tank/Slug droid since I got the original 2007 version, the Clone wars version from like 2009 and the Episode 2 version in 2014. I really want to buy Legos, but I don't have that much space and they seem so incredibly expensive these days that it honestly puts me off. I'm sure that if I buy a set, half the pieces will be new and confusing since the Legos I own are over 5 years old at least

I LOVE all of the ep2/3 and clone wars sets from 2013 and 2014 especially the gunship, AT-TE, Palatine's arrest, and the Utapao Troopers (212th) battlepack and the Kachykk battlepack (41st elite Corps), and the fighter tank 2017 and the 2016 turbo tank, the AT-AP, droid gunship and all clone wars stuff. My favorite? Either the gunship or AT-TE love the prequels!!!

I don't' have an absolute favourite but I love the battle of scarif set and battle of Endor. But basically I love all Star Wars sets as my favourite from all years. The clone wars ones are really good as well.

Dang I feel old, I wish I was a kid again. I only have a few of my lego sets left. I sold most of them, looking back at these I wish I would've kept them. 6:08 was my first lego star wars set. I collected them from 2008-2013. (9-14) I miss those days.

I own or owned 71, but several, such as the Dagobah X-Wing, I never built, because I was too young. Others just sort of disappeared. My favorites are the 2005 Clone Turbo Tank w/ light up lightsaber Mace WIndu, plus the 2005 ARC-170 Starfighter. The UCS sets that I own, such as the newer X-Wing, not the 1999 one, plus the B-Wing, Delta-7, and Motorized AT-AT are awesome. Plus the Star Destroyers and Assault Cruisers are cool. The General Grevious one is awesome, but he is split into about 9 different sections or so, because he would never stay standing, and I abhor gluing anything out of Legos.

my favorite is probably between the imperial star destroyer from 2014 75055 the b-wing 75050 shuttle tydrium from 2015 the at-st from 2016 and the tie striker I don't know which is my favorite out of these
I have 20. My earliest set was obi wan's starfighter from 2002. My latest being the Y-wing from 2017. My favourite is probably the Hoth wampa cave from 2010 because it came with my first bigfig and I have so many great memories with it.

Great video with great music. Some of the sets gave me great memories, because I remember seeing them on the sheleves in the cataloge or even played with them by a former friend of mine. He almost owned the full set from EP 1 and 2 and the ATAT and the Star Destroyer and many more. I only own 1 of the sets and that is the transformation set from 2005 where Anikin becomes Darth Vader. Introduced to Lego Star Wars in general i got by my older brother who had the set of the Tie Fighter and the Y Wing from around 2000. Whats the song from the beginning called?
