I bought mine from target yesterday, they didn’t even have it on the shelves yet so they had to get it from the back which took about 10 minutes. The only thing that it came with was an extra page in the book that had stickers (2 stickers).
Fun fact: this is the FIFTH time Greg goes on some sort of holiday or road trip. Out of 19 books, over A QUARTER of the books follow a similar plot. Book 4: Greg stays in a cabin with Rowley Book 9: Greg goes on a road trip Book 12: Greg goes on a tropical holiday Book 15: Greg goes on a camping trip Book 19: Greg goes on a family vacation
I just finished reading Hot Mess for the first time, and spoiler alert… it’s mainly another “road trip” book. But THIS time, it’s Grandma forcing Susan’s side of the family (as well as the other Heffley’s) to go to a beach house for a vacation away from her, so it’s not like the Heffley’s CHOSE to go on another road trip here. There’s also some insane plot twist regarding Grandma’s secret meatball recipe in the end, but I won’t spoil that for you. I thought Hot Mess was nothing special because it was essentially another “road trip” book, but the added conflict with Susan’s side of the family does make it more interesting than The Deep End. But at the end of the day, it’s OK.
The only time i had the hot mess book was in my school book fair but somebody already bought or got canceled but the only Book that is winpy related was the meltdown book
I got into diary of a Wimpy kid books one month ago and they’re great. I’ve always heard about them so I read them and they were great so I told my friends that they’re good and now they like them
The fact that the free items got smaller each time the first time was a big poster then the next time it was a half sized bag and then this time it’s a pin that’s twice as small as the bag and 4 times as small as the poster.
