IETF 119 Technology Deep Dive on BGP: Part 1

IETF Technology Deep Dives (TDD) provide insight into technologies which span multiple areas and to provide a focused exploration of a technology. TDDs are primarily designed to share information rather than to share problems. This is the first part of a 2-part TDD at IETF 119, providing protocol designers insight into a foundational Internet protocol, Border Gateway Protocol (BGP). A companion TDD session on Thursday evening will provide further detail about how BGP has, and may, evolve.
