    Hey Kade! I've noticed that the x32 lets you set the low/low mid/high mid/high to any frequency on the spectrum. Is there a "recommended" range for each? Thanks for the really helpful videos!

    • @collabworship
      @collabworship  2 роки тому

      You are correct, and it's geat to have the flexibility! No recommended frequency for each. Just use them where you need them.

    The resources like the low cut cheat sheet are just what I've been looking for! I can't wait to share these with the new sound techs who are training. I wish I had this ten years ago.

    Thanks for this video... I'm currently having issues eqing the Shure MX153, tried applying this technique but still get feedbacks. Problem is; the headworns mics are used by a drama act group and the seem to move around the auditorium in front of the FOH.
    Please Help me!!!

    • @collabworship
      @collabworship  3 роки тому

      These mics are omnidirectional which make it almost impossible to eliminate feedback. It's much better to have a headset mic with a cardioid pickup pattern like the DPA 4088.

    How to EQ for people who are preaching and make them feel Comfortable while preaching

    • @collabworship
      @collabworship  2 роки тому

      The is going to be different for each person/room. Start with the low cut filter mentioned in this video. Then use frequency sweeping to find tune after that.

    My choir mics are low on live streaming , how can I get them louder without feedback

    • @collabworship
      @collabworship  3 роки тому

      Hey Willie - Depending on your setup, you should have the option to turn up the choir mics in the live stream but not the main mix. Turning them up in the live stream alone will not create feedback. But if you also turn them up in the main mix, that's when feedback occurs.

    • @collabworship
      @collabworship  3 роки тому +1

      There should be a button near the gain knob for each channel that looks like a square root symbol with an 80 or 100. This is how you activate a low cut on an analog mixer. You just can't adjust the frequency placement.

    Hello Sir. I am having an issue on my Behringer x18 air. When I wanna play music from an artist like "Third Day" all I'm hearing is the instruments. Very low sounding vocals. I am new at this sound tech stuff, so not sure how to fix that. Thanks for this informative video!

      @@timothyspitty7598 there may be a problem with the jack. Try using a mono jack instead of a stereo jack. If you want stereo, you may have to use a channel that gives you left and right and plug in two mono jacks. I think that would help, as I have had a similar experience
