bveracka, if you are serious about learning Irish accordion then the tunings you want to consider are, BC and C#D. If you go with BC, which is the most common then order it with the Joe Burke bass setup. This system works well for BC playing. On C#D use the Paolo Soprani setup. You can get a good starter box at The Button Box in Sunderland, MA. A good starter box is the Weltmeister 510. It goes for about $1,300. You will be in good hands with them. Go to their web site and check them out.
Well done Tony Great ability You came along way since you played in your own home for Andrew and I Dont mind the coment below I bet he cant play half as good Keep it up Tony you have great skill already. Mary & Andrew from Gort
I've been considering buying an accordion in Irish tuning, and I thought that the tunings such as B/C, C#/D, and other Irish systems had chords that correspond and work well with the semi-chromatic tuning system of the right hand, as opposed to the spacing of the chords in C/F, G/C or A/D tuning. I've only played in G/C/F so far, so I don't know much about the Irish accordion outside of a few 1-row tunes I've learned. Can you elaborate on how the chords work? Greetings from Boston

Billy McComiskey just identified this as a Bb box. So I presume A/Bb. Wow, what a great sound.
Really good :) Nice sound
Judging by his expression, the first tune is called "My Dog Just Died." Seriously, he is an awesome player. And he almost smiles at 2:11!!!
😂
