I'm still amazed to this day that they existed. Just be gratefull friend. It's so sad how that shit ended. I want more. not a single band nowadays can give me this.
Stevis is just wearing a dress, dude, Saw '68 in Melbourne Australia in 2017(2018?) and had a fun time. Thanks for your music and travel and life Josh. Long Live.
The chariot is my most missed band of f***ing all time. Never will there ever be a band like this..... EVER!!!! I have been enjoying 68 with my boy josh and it is amazing
I would give anything to have this version as an official track. Of course the final album cut was amazing but this version touches my soul like nothing in this world ever has. God bless The Chariot. #Speak
It's place in music is an outlet, so many people can identify not only with the subject matter but with the intensity of the entire genre itself. Some people need that solid, rock hard, relentlessly and musically violent base in life. I feel like I, personally, wouldn't be a sane man if it weren't for the insanity of this type of music.
the music in correspondence with the recording videos almost made me cry and laugh out loud all at the same time. words cannot describe how ready and excited for this album i am. im gonna cry when it gets released and im going to buy it on vinyl as soon as pre-orders are available and im gonna see them on the tour no matter how far i have to drive
I feel exactly the same way! They are what I want, and it's SO cool to see guys doing what they love, and to be so gracious to all the people who love what they do :)
The ONLY vocalist with the balls to scream all out like that without the help of distortion and drums to cover them up! Absolutely amazing talent that Josh Scogin has!!
he study family counseling said wolf on his facebook. good man. he showed me what appears to be a "chill", its throwing bass like a boss. sorry for the bad grammar.
once again, The Chariot have succeeded in absolutely blowing my mind. This gave me chills, and I am really excited for this to come out. The Chariot forever!
damn just woke up from some very well needed rest...only to find out that Jonathan “KC Wolf” Kindler from The Chariot left the band. :( it was totally amazing seeing this guy play on stage every time i saw them. and he's definitely a huge influence when it comes to my stage presents and how to put on a great show, but more impotently on my religious relationship with Jesus. Through him all is possible and The Chariot is living proof. Good luck Wolf!
I feel like this album is meant for me. Not only have I been through literally the worst summer of my life, and my depression is in full swing and hasn't let up in months, this is God speaking through his voice. This album will be my strength to carry on.
I like both. I've always considered screaming more of a sound to compliment the music. But it's always nice when someone like Josh Scogin, Micah Kinard, or Jordan Dreyer hit a scene, passionate screams are a nice change of pace.
Anyone know what happened to the other "Speak" video? It was shorter. Showed them playing in that room and then cut to a black and white video of them playing other shows&songs going crazy but all you could hear was the piano outro of "Speak" playing in the background. Then it went to a black screen and said "Forget Not Your First Love" then faded to a skull. It was seriously the most badass thing I ever watched but i cant find it anywhere. Used to give me chills. I hope it didnt get deleted.
in the cd it doesnt say beg for me.... it says "pray to God for me" i'm glad it made the final cut and thats what made this song so much more powerful in my opinion
Hey dudes, fucking love everything you do, hope to see you live one day! But please what brand is that green guitar amp in the video and on almost every live picture?
I often think the same thing...Probably because it's genuine and authentic art from people who are driven by a passion for the catharsis they receive from creating it. Sounds more complicated than it really is, I guess.
I'm just gonna say it.... Josh is the only vocalist with the balls to scream like that with ZERO drums, distortion, or anything else which can be used to cover up vocal shortcomings. Josh, clearly, doesn't have any.
There will never be another band like this...ever...
i fucking agree!!!!!!!!!!
I'm still amazed to this day that they existed. Just be gratefull friend. It's so sad how that shit ended. I want more. not a single band nowadays can give me this.
Never
100% agree
My favorite thing so far is how no one has even questioned why Stevis is wearing a dress. Ha ha.
My favorite thing so far is you Joshua.
Stevis is just wearing a dress, dude, Saw '68 in Melbourne Australia in 2017(2018?) and had a fun time. Thanks for your music and travel and life Josh. Long Live.
I love you.
Well, this comment didn’t age well lol. 2022 and men wearing dresses….nope, nothing to see here!
@Ryan Smith meaning in 2022 NO ONE would question him wearing a dress. Whereas 10 years ago it’s funny that no one did question it.
In my opinion one of the most brilliant songs ever recorded
No one:
Not a soul:
My brain at random times throughout the day: Long live
This song mesmerizes me even after all these years.
Josh's screams are fucking haunting. Beautiful, can't wait for the new album!
The chariot is my most missed band of f***ing all time. Never will there ever be a band like this..... EVER!!!! I have been enjoying 68 with my boy josh and it is amazing
i named my boy 'the chariot'
that stance though. god I miss these guys
listening to movie(never made) by silver mt zion after this song is really transcending. beautiful
Oh chariot, Oh chariot, where for art thou Oh chariot
This is why we love The Chariot.
Goosebumps every time
Man I love this band. Constantly pushing music boundaries. I am super stoked for this record!
I would give anything to have this version as an official track. Of course the final album cut was amazing but this version touches my soul like nothing in this world ever has. God bless The Chariot. #Speak
I've watched this like ten times so far, and every time leaves me just as speechless as the last. The Chariot is my hero.
OH MY FUCK!!! Josh's voice is fucking beautiful!! Every time i hear his screams i get chills
goosebumps. never stop making music.
Today is 2022 and I'm still listening to this song
haunting piano song? stoked on this already.
The hardest song I've heard.
"you want me to, like, holler?"
yes josh, i do
Ridiculous how relevant this song is to me right now. Genuinely life changing and life affirming music and lyrics. Long Live The Chariot.
the music in correspondence with the recording videos almost made me cry and laugh out loud all at the same time. words cannot describe how ready and excited for this album i am. im gonna cry when it gets released and im going to buy it on vinyl as soon as pre-orders are available and im gonna see them on the tour no matter how far i have to drive
Don’t know how he does it. And he still does it after years of exploding.
So many emotions rush through my head when they start playing. I don't know what to feel. Hope? Despair? I don't even know. This is going to be huge.
Exactly. Like Dead And Divine, craaaaaazy deep in meaning, sucks they broke up R.I.P DD
I cant live without the chariot
this the most beautifully savage thing ive ever heard
This is still so powerful
I feel exactly the same way! They are what I want, and it's SO cool to see guys doing what they love, and to be so gracious to all the people who love what they do :)
Awesome Song! Reminds me the band called My Own Private Alaska. It's screamo with piano and drums from France.
This makes me tiny and happy inside!!!
This will be played at my funeral.
Godspeed, Wolf, you will be missed.
LONG LIVE THE CHARIOT!
The ONLY vocalist with the balls to scream all out like that without the help of distortion and drums to cover them up!
Absolutely amazing talent that Josh Scogin has!!
Also, the, "want me to holler?"
Yes, Josh. That is your ONE job right now lol. Just scream at us!!
dude, this is absolutely incredible. you guys have once again absolutely blown me away.
Cant wait to hear all those tambourine sounds!
this is art. truly
he study family counseling said wolf on his facebook. good man. he showed me what appears to be a "chill", its throwing bass like a boss. sorry for the bad grammar.
chills. the power stance makes it 10 times better
And..........pre-ordered just because of that song at the end. Holy crap I'm stoked for this album
Congratulations, a fortunate one.
Long live brother. I feel the exact same way.
once again, The Chariot have succeeded in absolutely blowing my mind. This gave me chills, and I am really excited for this to come out. The Chariot forever!
To this day, gives me the shivers.
so excited for one wing i will only listen to the chariot all day
Yes. I love you.
his screams sound so much better, reminds me off brennan from Oceana
Dat The Chariot with the brother on dat piano!
Powerful!
if you listen closely near the end you can hear the sqeak of the piano foot pedal going up and down
2:54
Oh. So THAT'S how Evan Perks was conceived.
this would make a great opener to a show. and... FLIP YES THE CHARIOT
Thank you for still making wonderful music
Such a great The Chariot song! Can't wait for the full record.
Agreed. The Chariot do what they do really well, but so many other metal bands get just as much right (if not more).
This is what My Own Private Alaska has been doing for years
4:08 automatic chills/goosebumps.
Ugh i miss hanging out with these guys.
damn just woke up from some very well needed rest...only to find out that Jonathan “KC Wolf” Kindler from The Chariot left the band. :( it was totally amazing seeing this guy play on stage every time i saw them. and he's definitely a huge influence when it comes to my stage presents and how to put on a great show, but more impotently on my religious relationship with Jesus. Agreed! He is in KC right now so he's not recording at the moment.
literally got chills from this. damn.
I only just discovered this, and it's excited me so much that I'm about to completely loose my sh*t. Cannot wait for One Wing!
HELL YES FINALLY ITS ACTUALLY BEING DONE IM GONNA BUY IT ON VINYL RIGHT AWAY
I like both. I've always considered screaming more of a sound to compliment the music. But it's always nice when someone like Josh Scogin, Micah Kinard, or Jordan Dreyer hit a scene, passionate screams are a nice change of pace.
O how I love you dearly The Chariot.
Yeah dude.
holy fuggin shib. I got chills when that man started screaming.
I hope it didnt get deleted.
they took that one down when they posted Alls Well That Ends Well. that was the video where they announced their breakup
Dammit. Thanks though! That was my favorite video of theirs.
Hope is only around right now.
Gave me chills. SO FREAKING STOKED.
in the cd it doesnt say beg for me.... it says "pray to God for me" i'm glad it made the final cut and thats what made this song so much more powerful in my opinion
Song gave me chills... Powerful stuff.
Hey dudes, fucking love everything you do, hope to see you live one day! But please what brand is that green guitar amp in the video and on almost every live picture?
Seriously got chills. Amazing.
... there are no words to be said. I've been mistaken about the art of screaming. This is it.
loved the moment with 'right now'
AGH. I love you, my The Chariot.
Here you go to hear it over and over again like I do! 3:36
I often think the same thing...Probably because it's genuine and authentic art from people who are driven by a passion for the catharsis they receive from creating it. Sounds more complicated than it really is, I guess.
speak to me josh scogin! you are my inspiration.
I'm just gonna say it....
Josh is the only vocalist with the balls to scream like that with ZERO drums, distortion, or anything else which can be used to cover up vocal shortcomings.
Josh, clearly, doesn't have any.
thank you
These guys put the riot in Chariot....
his voice still rocks
