I really enjoyed the chat. It was pretty amazing that Suzy won garment of the week. Apparently she has only been sewing for two years which is incredible. I can't imagine having the confidence to go onto the Bee after only a couple of years sewing!

I think that you don’t always see the pitfalls when you have only been sewing 2 years.

I thought the first challenge was far too involved. In the past they have made a simple top. It wasn’t a good start for anyone. Sadly I heard poor Don say’ I’m not doing as well as I thought I would have ‘ to his model . Basically though it’s a speed challenge, as I think he’s so experienced. Let’s hope he speeds up.
I couldn’t understand why one contestant was trying to gather denim, ( an almost impossible job) when they have practised those items. Her garment looked really good even though held together with pins.( she was the girl making clothes that were genderless.)
