    its normal, because the carving skiis and the carving tecnique were both invented in SLovenija. Elan produced both the prototype and the first original model of carving skiis, but didnt have enough money to pay for the patent.
    And our alpine ski and carving school is by far the most developed in the world. Im a slovenian ski instructor and everywhere i go, all the other instructors ask me for lessons.

    we met some very nice ski instructors in tyrol. and they did not fulfill the cliché. at first :-)

    truth hurts, I know. I'm a ski instructor, i know what i'm saying. Anyway, the truth the only good true national ski school is the slovenian one. All the others are just bad copies. The slovenes where the first to develop the new carving tecnique, and from there it spred all over the world.
