This week's speaker and topic: Kenda Carfagno, Financial Wellness Officer from Visions Federal Credit Union on scams and fraud. Kenda Carfagno is a Financial Wellness Officer with Visions FCU and teaches financial literacy out in the community. Topics of expertise include budgeting, credit, insurances, basic estate planning, retirement, and fraud/scam prevention. Realizing these topics are not covered in any type of formal education, which can result in financial mishaps that derail you from your personal financial goals. Kenda believes that everyone should have accessibility to this knowledge in an unbiased environment.
Manlius Informed is a seasonal lecture series hosted by Manlius Library and held in the library's Community Room. All lectures are free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
