Here is a reminder about generator safety: this is just to make sure that you all are aware with all the warnings when using generators. Generators can be dangerous if not used carefully. Everyone really needs to see this safety reminder to be sure. This is just for everyone’s safety. We heard that many people have died each year when using generators due to carbon monoxide poisoning and electrocution. There is something very serious that everyone should always be aware of when using generators. Some people do run their generator indoors which is not safe and that increases the risk of carbon monoxide poisoning which can cause death of family and you. Some people run their generator in wet conditions which can electrocute them. Here’s an advice about generator safety: please remember that you should never run your generator indoors. Remember that carbon monoxide is an odorless and colorless gas that you cannot see or smell. Carbon monoxide is a silent killer. Keep that in mind. Make sure your generator is 15-20 feet away from your house and away from doors, windows, and vents. Having a carbon monoxide detector is very important against generator safety. Some people also allow children to go near the portable generator which could pose risks. We need to keep an eye on our children making sure that they are not near the portable generator so they won’t get electrocuted or burned by the generator which is dangerous. A locking enclosure also keeps kids safe. A generator shed might look like a tempting place to explore, or take cover during a game of hide-and-seek, but a generator is a dangerous piece of equipment that can cause injury. It says on the manual that we should also keep children away at all times from the portable generator to avoid injuries. Generators pose electrical risks. If you need to use your generator during wet weather, you need a generator tent to protect your generator from getting wet. Don’t let your generator get wet. Keep your generator dry and before using your generator, please make sure your hands and your generator is dry. Everything that is said on the generator’s operating manual should not be ignored. Never smoke cigarettes near the generator. Please keep flammable things away from the generator. Never overload your generator too. Your generator can catch fire. Never ever try to plug a generator cord into a wall outlet to avoid back feeding. Back feeding your generator is dangerous. Always turn on your generator first before plugging in appliances and shut off the appliances before turning your generator off. Use a heavy duty cord for your generator and the cord should not be worn out. All the instructions should be followed carefully. Never refuel your generator while it’s running. It can cause fire if fuel spills while your generator is hot. You should turn off your generator and let it cool off before refueling it. This is only a reminder for everyone’s safety of using generators. Make sure your generator is properly grounded. ua-cam.com/video/I1jT3ANENvI/v-deo.html and here is a video more about keeping others safe when using generators. It’s also important to keep others safe as well especially children. Thank you and hope you stay safe as well. Hope this advice helps.
That generator is unbelievable! Your mom is awesome to give that to ya'all! The other thing: ROXANNE WELDS! Holy cow! That's just awesome! Can't wait until you're all out on the land. We had a generator but only my husband could work it so I got a whole house generator after he passed away. Everybody needs a generator. I gave mine to my son that lives on our farm because they are at the end of the line and always get power last. But our generator doesn't hold a candle to yours. We could only keep the furnace and fridge going with ours. Have a great week and I hope you sold your house!

Gary is a SMART MAN! Best thing you can do for any carb is run 'em dry nothing left in there to gum up. Take the time & use your shut offs then let 'em run till they die, shut down.
Everything is so much better when you are doing it with those you love. Family compounds are the best. When I was growing up in the 50's and 60's we had a 4 generation compound and life was a dream.
Hey sweetie, my son is a motorcycle technician. He told me if you can, get "non-ethenol" fuel, to put in it. Small engines last longer without ethanol. By the way I have that exact generator to run my house when, all to often, my electricity goes out. It runs my fridge, 2 freezers, washing machine, TV, internet, directv, 4 fans, 2 cpap machines, and all of my electronic chargers (phones, laptops and tablet).
That's awesome! I'm sure that we will have more than enough power with both generators we will be using. Wow a fridge and 2 freezers? That makes me happy to know

Awesome Generator ! Thanks for sharing the information, I'm going to get the boys to get one from Harbor Freight ! We love Harbor Freight. Thanks for the tip about the fuel stabilizer and about starting it with everything already plugged in. Stay happy, healthy, hydrated and safe. May God continue to bless you and your family.

Divide 9000/240 gives you 39 amp (per phase) then divide 39 amps by 80% gives you regular running amps non stop. Bad ass generator I use it very day its got a Honda motor but they don't advertise that part.

There are lots of stations in Arkansas that sell ethanol free gas. There are websites that list them. Keep from gumming up all equipment. I have the Predator 4375 , used during the Texas Freeze for 4 days while the power was out. Pull cord starts on first pull. Love it.

John from main. Got P9000 two years ago. Ran it for 20 min then rolled it into the shed until and left it until almost two years. It wouldn't start. Figured it must be me not doing some simple little thing. Nope. I was doing things right. I happened to look realy close at the start switch. Hmm I thought no way. Cold and the rubber covered switch hmmm. I took my hand and breathed into my palm heating my hand then holding my hand over the switch. Crazy dumb guy. But Yaba Daba due! It worked. Cold weather only problem.

smaller ones too are a great idea. no good paying for power you cannot use. We had a petrol one and charged batteries up and saved a lot of jobs up so when it was on we could use most of the power.
I would sugest a time limit for the big one. save jobs so you can use the power. We pay for power line if it crosses your gate here, even if you are not connected. It could be worth not to connect to the grid if you can make it all work.
Yes they are. They are the special generators. ua-cam.com/video/H0LhLjhndyk/v-deo.html here is a video about something special about those predator generators. These generators compared to Honda are becoming so popular.
Sorry you misunderstood me Kenneth, I was asking your advice. I agree a mason brick building would be awesome! But I was asking if you also think a wood one with sound insulation would also be good? Sorry for the confusion.

5th wheel on 17 acres and we used a generator all weekend long. You guys know what you need to do from the sounds of it. Take care and stay safe 🙏❤💙
Everything is so much better when you are doing it with those you love. Family compounds are the best. When I was growing up in the 50's and 60's we had a 4 generation compound and life was a dream.
That's so wonderful to hear.

Love the fact that your family is so close
Nice generator
Wonderful generator ☕️🍵🍽 Roxane can cook 👩🏼🍳 up some good meals Hi Gary & Mel 🤗
Hi Gary can’t wait to see your journey together 💕
Divide 9000/240 gives you 39 amp (per phase) then divide 39 amps by 80% gives you regular running amps non stop. Bad ass generator I use it very day its got a Honda motor but they don't advertise that part.
Motor is a Chinese Honda clone. Great engines. Guys modify them for small homebuilt aircraft.
Be sure to check the air filter regularly... which reminds me... I haven’t checked out air filter since we’ve been out here. Almost a year! 😆

There are lots of stations in Arkansas that sell ethanol free gas. There are websites that list them. Keep from gumming up all equipment. I have the Predator 4375 , used during the Texas Freeze for 4 days while the power was out. Pull cord starts on first pull. Love it.

I like this generator I use it to run a 140 hobart welder, it makes it work awesome.
Looks like y’all are going to be all set! 😊

smaller ones too are a great idea. no good paying for power you cannot use. We had a petrol one and charged batteries up and saved a lot of jobs up so when it was on we could use most of the power.
I wonder if you can weld directly with the DC?
I would sugest a time limit for the big one. save jobs so you can use the power. We pay for power line if it crosses your gate here, even if you are not connected. It could be worth not to connect to the grid if you can make it all work.
Predator 9000 is 🔥🔥🔥💯 this is awesome 🙌 🙂
Yes they are. They are the special generators. ua-cam.com/video/H0LhLjhndyk/v-deo.html here is a video about something special about those predator generators. These generators compared to Honda are becoming so popular.
nice water pressure! which pump do you have on that trailer? Nice genny too LOL
tv use more power to start them up than to leave them on, you learn a lot about living off grid.
Does it work through heavy rain and wind?
Lol lights in your RV could be running off your battery and the water?
Can you expound on “turning the peacock off…?”
just turn the valve down lol
What is the THD%? Can’t find any info
How is the generator working for you?
It's a beast 💪
you need to build a mason brick building that will cut the sound down
You think wood with sound insulation would be good?
OKAY GUESS ILL JUST KEEP MY ADVICE TO MY SELF SINCE YOU DONT WANT IT SORRY IF YOU DONT LIKE IT GOD BLESS YOU ANY WAY
Sorry you misunderstood me Kenneth, I was asking your advice. I agree a mason brick building would be awesome! But I was asking if you also think a wood one with sound insulation would also be good? Sorry for the confusion.
YES I GUESS IF THAT WHAT TO TRY IM SORRY I DID MISS UNDER STAND YOU I APPOLAGIZE
