We need a system like this: First 2-5 years: learning about the world and how it works, basic math, basic language(s) 4-7 years: more advanced math, more advanced language(s), basic Financials (credit and debit cards, interest, savings and stuff) maybe even an inside to local politics to they know whats going on locally abd nationally. 6-10: learn about jobs and careers and have the opportunity to learn how all these things work and what you might need to learn for them. 9+ years: focusing on their choice of career/job. A mixture of self learning with supervision where needed (maybe not supervise the wanna be accountant, but definitely the welder). Check up on where they are at. Also istead of fixed hours, maybe like a flexable 30 hours a week. Suggested times but you dont have to come in then. Also we encourage the teachets to be fun, understanding, and connected to the students. My high school chem teacher let us swear, call him CraigDog in public and at school, and was a general nice guy when he wasn't creating dis tracks for the students( his singing was beautiful and like nails on a chalkboard at the same time)
@@Men_Of_Culture33 This would make everything soo much better, especially for people that learn fast, they’d get so far in certain fields while still having access to guided assistance and other classes for some subjects they may not know enough about, it’s basically college but you have a mandatory couple of years (less than the 12ish we have now) choose everything yourself, and don’t have to get into debt UNFORTUNATELY that means the school system wouldn’t be profitable, which means no one with enough money to execute this would ever want to invest in this It would be even better if you’re required to learn the basics, but if you feel you know them you can skip ahead, I knew everything we had to learn and got super bored as a kid and missed out on learning more things while my brain was still open as can be to learning
I remember in first grade we were supposed to draw a scene of rain falling on a road. I decided to go the extra mile and draw a tree and a car. I had one good math teacher during 7th~9th grade, then I became “good” at math under him. I got confidence then started to get 98~100% on every test including standardized ones, all the way until today. That gave me confidence in other STEM very quickly. During late years of high school I realized I could do relatively good in non STEM too after reflecting on myself, cuz I wasn’t always good at math and physics. How did I get so good but not in non STEM? (Now I just realize anyone can be good at anything. The differentiator was just enthusiasm.) I’m about to complete my math and computer engineering bachelors. My peers still consider me good at math. I’m just very enthusiastic about it and that helps in staying focused, realizing when you have knowledge gaps and all those little things. And it’s that one teacher that got me liking math. I even tried dropping out of school before then cuz I was getting bullied (not doing good in school either. Why stay?) This was in Japan, and I’m not “ethnic” Japanese or East Asian so the grown man was so racist to me, so I don’t wanna thank him. But the fact is he changed the course of my life, and others who I may impact today in academia. Seriously, one teacher and one teacher alone can make or break an education. For me it’s so much so the case that it changed my whole life completely. Imagine I’m homeIess or self-RIP’d today in a parallel universe…
When I was young, I used to love googling random stuff that I was curious about. It was basically my 1# hobby. After my friends saw my history, they called me weird. It's more fun to learn things at your own pace. School takes a lot of otherwise interesting topics and makes you sit in a room for hours to learn them...
Yeah, a simple 15m documentary abt the solar system is more entertaining and informative and educational than actually learning it from school, a simple 15m documentary makes it entertaining and easy to remember for a 4th grade, while school would teach 1% of that to a 4th grader each hour, and make u do homeworks, classworks and exams
You are true bro studying according to your bodily interests and pace is way better than looking into School. I am that type of guy who when you have to study Algebra, I would have finished Calculus...
There are time where a topic is discussed in class for hours and by the end of that class idk anything about that topic but then I go home and research about that topic on my own and I understand in like 10 minutes
One of the reasons I personally love my school so much is because they let us ask questions. Our teacher actually *know* and love what they’re doing, and in turn we can ask questions that may seem dumb, but they’ll always answer, and oftentimes, we don’t even have to raise our hands.
Not Mine, our teacher is an idiot WHO doesn’t know basic math. I asked her what 5^2+5^2 was and she got it wrong. I hate my school now i failed my national test

As someone who’s “unschooled” besides basic knowledge, I live an amazing life without school. My oldest brother is an engineer, he never went to grade school or collage and his employers BEGGED him to be on their team when he was only 18, he’s one of their leads now. My other brother is a construction worker and is a main worker on their team. Sister’s a main coach with a high end Gymnastics team. Other sister is a house painter/contractor. I run my own small business, selling all natural beeswax related products and it’s going amazing. The rest of the kiddos are still to young, but they all have big plans. Yeah, school is useless. Edit: didn’t know people could turn this into an argument.

I used to take an art class in elementary, every time I drew it was “wrong.” I couldn’t sit next to or speak to my friends at all and always got my seat changed over nothing. The creative teacher part is so accurate because we had to always draw pumpkins. I quit art after that because I thought this was how it’s always was and my art teacher was trying to figure out why i wasn’t doing good in her work. (edit: my brother actually still goes to the school and she still works there and is still forcing them to draw pumpkins and do what she wants to do) (edit 2: she also forced us {still does to the kids there now} to do art for plays and shows even if we didnt want to. She claims the work as her own and says we were doing the minimum amount of work and that most of it was all her. Keep in mind all she did was make us color in work that she would say she drew and printed out online {a LIE}, put others down if they ask if they are doing a good job, and take all the credit afterwards.) (edit 3: scrap paper was the biggest no. if you asked for some even if your done she will say "absolutely... NOT" and scold you over nothing. I've been sent to the security guards and THREATENED too many times than i can count because i was finished and wanted to draw my own thing.

I’m class of 2022. Starting halfway through my junior year, my parents and I decided to homeschool me through the rest of my high school career. I loathed learning for so long, it was associated with such stress and negativity. But after graduating and being given my freedom for a while I’ve found a genuine desire to learn again. On my own time I’m learning a bit more about geography, as well as doing duolingo lessons purely for fun. It feels weird and foreign to be finding entertainment in these things. And it makes me sad to realize how much learning really can be fun and that I do actually enjoy it, it was just that the school system crushed my desire to.
I haven't been homeschooled, (It's really hard to get permission to do so in my country) But isn't it a little harder to find friends? Also (and this is just an assumption) If one of your parents have a lack of education and understanding in let's say maths. Wouldn't that problem also go on with you? So wouldn't you also have that same lack of knowing in maths?
One time in 3rd grade we had a project where we were making a storybook for children and I was really happy. I spent forever writing the first iteration of my storybook. My teacher didn’t like it because it had fart jokes. I tried to make it more light hearted but still with my humour at the time in it. She didn’t like my book. She beraded me in class in front of everyone that I never listened and that I was behind, despite me having to rewrite the book 3 times. And it took me one session + 30 minutes to rewrite, cut out, laminate and draw the pictures, and yet when I gave my final piece to her, she started booming to me about how terrible my drawing was and that I couldn’t cut straight. At my Break time, she put me under pressure to draw, and I did the best I could. Yet that wasn’t enough. I was traumatised for like 3 - 4 years (still slightly counting today too) and all I wanted was a fucking apology. I didn’t get it. The only time I got an apology was for her yelling for some other bullshit, but not for the time where she made life hell for me and then yelled her head off in my face, which made me scared to even pick up a pencil for 3 years
I totally agree. I remember in elementary school when we would have all sorts of fun activities and opportunities to be creative I loved school. In middle school it started to die off. Now in highschool I despise school. We don't do anything fun really (except for a few classes) and it just drains me. Things need to change.
@Anonymous fingers That's not the point. School does teach us. No one said it didn't. They are just saying that it teaches us in such a way that it sort of drains the fun out of it. It forces us to learn things at a specific pace while are minds are used to taking things in at our own pace. Slower if we need it. School takes out the fun and the ability for us to slow done and ask questions for ourselves. It makes it way less interesting.
Exact reason why I went from best student at school to one of the worst. I have my hobbies now, some other much more useful work I do for fun, for now, to get some experience and then use them for good. I'm practicing 2D and 3D animation, learning Spanish and Korean, wanna get into programming too but I think it would be too much, for now. I honestly don't care about grades anymore. The government is trying so desperately to get students get more grades, it's hilarious at this point. They were promising to give away some laptops to the students who studied well during a specific period of time. My brother was supposed to get one, but never received it. Especially the country I am from, the education system is so down bad it's literally unfixable, and people can't even see it, let alone the politicians. The fact that they think it's just the students being lazy and nothing wrong with the teachers, it fking annoying.
Where are you from? Also don't totally abandone your studies if you don't have another idea for the future. If you don't need it then fair enough quit as you can and do what you want but for example I study computer science because it's useful and I can get a great job with it so studying is necessary for my goals.

I would probably have learning Spanish as a hobby with Japanese, but I just don't like Spanish anymore because of the class in school. It's mainly writing notes, and I get it can help some people learn, but I either didn't need to write notes or just never remembered it. I'm sure other people like having notes, but Duolingo is free and I remember more Japanese from that app than Spanish from school.
Man, the school system sucks. I once did a speech on ASSEMBLY about the same topic in front of most the school and even though teachers and students loved the speech, our school has done nothing to change its radicle ways.
Unfortunately the school can only suggest, only the government can finalise and decide on whether to implement it. It's like the saying, don't hate the player, hate the game
yeah, that time my school also had the same thing, we had a guest from somewhere (I don't really remember but that guy is definitely someone important) he did a speech about how the school system should change and yeah. That's it, it happens... Nothing changed in how the teachers teach, they still just appear for a brief second, told us to write an entire chapter or do tests from the book cause we're falling behind, and then comes back at the last minute of their class to give us a shitton of homework....
it's not about whether or not it's useful, it's your desire to learn, to know more. I hate going to school, but I love learning new things. If something interests me, I want to know everything about that thing. apologies if my English is bad, it's not my first language
I have a new school I made it into, they saw this and adjusted the schooling system as much as they could to make it better. They also put mental health before learning and let you do so many different things.

"Kids need atleast 8 hours of sleep!!111" I dont care, take these 60 pages of homework. I heard about this other one but I dont know what to think about It this other one says we should learn what we need for our future, not learn everything, like 80% of the things we learn at school will not be useful on our future and will be forgotten.
@Anonymous fingers The fact is that teenage brains are changing from child to adult, which causes lots of different side effects, but one of the main ones is not being able to fall asleep earlier than adults typically do, so no we cannot simply "go to sleep earlier" because it is literally physically impossible. Due to this schools must push back their start time to allow students to get the proper sleep that schools always preach but do not allow. (That's my thesis lmao)
@Anonymous fingers For you that is, other people with: autism, Adhd, and dyslexia can't read 60 pages and homework doesn't make sense, do the work at school. It gets more time, money, and school likes money.
The thing that drives me insane is that lack of freedom. I’m not allowed to use the bathroom. I need permission to speak. The only right way to do something is the teachers way. Not to mention that we all learn the same stuff, at the same pace, no matter what. Instead of getting to study something you are interested in, you have to learn about Ancient Greece, you have to learn about literature. Its so draining not caring about these classes, because you know you don’t need them.
I remember in freshman year I took a special seminar class that was language arts and social studies combined, and more project based. In the language arts portion, we did a whole unit on why the school system was flawed and even got to do a project where we got to design our own school with a partner.
This is an essay about school. Child labour refers to the exploitation of children through any form of work that deprives children of their childhood, -interferes with their ability to attend regular school,- and is mentally, physically, socially and morally harmful. Such exploitation is prohibited by legislation worldwide, although these laws do not consider all work by children as child labour; exceptions include work by child artists, family duties, supervised training, and some forms of work undertaken by Amish children, as well as by indigenous children in the Americas.
Bro I remember when I was 12, and I finally got the courage out of all my years in school up at that point, to ask how to do math because I felt like I was doing something wrong. I walked up to my teacher and told her I was having problems understanding some of the steps. Then she straight up told me "You're so stupid. Everyone understands it except for you." My dude. Is it not your job to teach me though?? 💀 Same dumb teacher also threw a whole tantrum at us because we failed her stupid test and degraded us, when 90% of the time she spent in class was ramble about her life until the bell rung.
I hate school not just because of the reason you just said, but also because everyone disagrees with me, even the teacher, when I'm the only person who is right. When everyone thinks they are right and I think the opposite they all laugh at me and say I'm an idiot and then I turn out to be right.
that’s literally one of the main reason i don’t ask teachers questions when they ask so do you have any questions? literally, everywhere i go i don’t see anyone asking questions.
One thing I hate about my school system is that in ELA, I am literally learning the same things about grammar and writing that I learned before. And they keep making us write an essay like every new unit. It’s like come on man, I’ve done this a million times already.
Relatable, we read a book and do projects like making storyboards with some random website or posters. I would like doing that on my own if I got the idea, but when school makes me do it, I suddenly dread it.
My art teacher is just brilliant. Each week we focus on a different artist, and then you get to make an art piece inspired by the same artist with basically whatever you want. When he's not talking himself, there's none of that "lower your voice" stuff, except when you are actually screaming. The best part is, the homework he sets is OPTIONAL. Although I have never not done a piece of homework for his class. I hate that my school's curriculum only has art once a week, unless you're GCSE
Bro, the people in my school never shut up, I understand occasionally talking but not when the teachers explaining some important shit that’s gonna come in tomorrows exam. I don’t even have that good of hearing but can hear their freaking conversation all the way across the corridor

fun fact:learning from pure curiosity is better then being force to learn something then immediately throw it to the trash becuz when ur curios u actually care instead of just listen - -) do work --) then never use it again in adult hood, and also school basically doesnt fucking care about ur dream job and they kinda just go:"we decrease the chance for u to be success at ur dream job but give u 20 more boring job option which is better...... right??
EXACTLY because I like learning about history but my teacher teaches well but gives us homework which is quite difficult and sometimes take me the whole homework time before dinner (I go to boarding school btw) and one time I had to finish it until 9pm! History is actually fun to learn but in history class we have to write spider grams and other stuff like that. It’s so much easier to just read the same text and reviewing it again rather than homework it just makes me depressing the homework and I feel like nothing productive
Sad part is, he’s right. I realized this and rather than trying to become an obedience machine, I refused to not kill my creativity by keeping my mind productive. Yes, part of the working mindset is needed but school acts like all of it is needed. The only thing needed is discipline. Nothing else to take away from school besides basic learning and speaking professionally to get a job. That’s all you need. I don’t need to know about the Civil War or how Christopher Columbus set sail for the Americas.
Ngl in school I stopped putting my hand up and when a teacher asks a question I usually just say the answer immediately after it comes in my head. Saves time and less chances of me forgetting it and it makes me feel more engaged. Though I do wait in case someone else wants to answer, but if the room is dead silent and no one is willing to answer I usually go ahead. The teachers don't mind but some do, so it depends on the class.
Yes! It’s so important that kids who don’t get what they are learning get to learn it a different way! I’ve been diagnosed with adhd for years and almost my entire life and while meds help, sometimes info doesn’t come in well, and so I teach myself a different way that helps me, in 5th grade my teacher pulled my too the side and shamed me for doing it differently than he did and to not help any other students as I confuse people. This hurt me, and I know it’s not the kids faults, they just don’t understand, or the time I’m 3rd grade when a kid went through the notebook on my desk, I wrote stuff about how I was a mermaid cause I like them so much and they went through it after they knew not too, I told the teacher after lunch because that’s when I found out, she said “well you shouldn’t have left it on your desk if you didn’t want people reading it, that’s your fault” I got bullied so much I begged my mom to move.
In school I’m sleep deprived, bored and just sitting there not listening and only doing the bare minimum of the work while having a enormous hatred of school and it tests my patience a lot
I dropped out of high school due to the school not giving a rip about me October of last year. I mean literally, they didn't care for my well being. I learned that the hard way when the principal himself told me his solution to me getting bullied was me to get on anxiety medicine because my mom told him that school has done nothing but increased my anxiety. That was his solution to the bullying, anxiety medication. No protection, no help, nothing to stop the bullying. He said "Oh you can get on medication for your anxiety and all will be well" and at that point, it hit me harder than a bullet, school doesn't care about me. I always hated school. Ever since I was in Kindergarten, I hated school. I hated everything about it. School made me so negative about my life. My life got better when I dropped out of high school. I became a better man. I actually became smarter and more wise for things. My knowledge actually increased and my negativity left. Fear left me when I dropped out because I used to fear for my life when I was at school. People say "Oh you need to go school! It'll make you into a better person!" Yeah right. School was a Mortal Version of Hell for me and school was also leading me to the Gates of Hell. Because I thought about ending my life at one point because ot school. People either choose to ignore what school does to students because they don't care or they're just more blind than an actual blind person. I'm not taking taht back, I mean it. School is nothing but a Mortal Version of Hell, and nothing can change my mind about school. School sucks, always has and always will. Nothing can ever make me go back to that Hellish place. Not even God, because God actually delivered me from the crap that school done. An education can't get me into Heaven. But an education almost got me into Hell. Screw school, screw everything about it. I literally have nothing nice to say about school
Btw, a quote I read from Anne of green gables: “no child should go to school until it is at least 7” And in the same book, kids aren’t forced to go to school, the parents/guardians decide when the kid should go, if ever, and until then they teach them things at home. I feel like we can all learn something from Anne.
I read some books about child development and it told how important play is for children. That academic preschools (compared to traditional ones that are less focused on academics) don't really give an advantage, they just make kids statistically more anxious
Oh wow, letting parents decide if their children go. What an amazing idea that could never possibly have negative consequences. Nope can't think of any. What a Genius idea. It's not like parents could ruin their childrens life easily by just not letting them go to school. It would also just make child abuse wayy easier and kids being easily isolated. But yay let's just ignore all of this so we don't have to learn for geography tests anymore
this is extremely true!! when i was raised, i was put in a decently good pre/elementary school. after learning some things taught by teachers, i ask “why? what if you go further?” this curiosity would eventually lead me into looking it up on youtube, in which i found the answer AND even more information. with this new information, i was able to “be smarter than every kid in my class” after moving to middle school, the teacher would say an outdated answer like “there are 110 atoms in the periodic table”. when i countered it with saying how there is 118, the teacher scolds me for being wrong. “youre just a kid” i worry as if im getting dumber and dumber as i am losing freedom of curiosity.
At one point I wound up switching to a different school and surprisingly among the other students we were encouraged to work independently and during breaks some began illustrations and falling in love with the creative process of bringing an image to life.
I learnt the covalent structure of diamond and why it is so strong in great detail in a video about minecraft diamond armour. Couple years later we learnt the same thing in chemisty and i was never more bored and didnt remember a single thing. Also school has crushed my mental health soooo....
There is a school in the Netherlands that actually does work and does base itself on natural curiosity, it's here in the Netherlands I believe and it basically gives you your own space, time for yourself (You can do whatever you want in this time, play games etc) and allot of other cool stuff.
I remember back when I was in 3rd grade we would always do these assignments once a week where we would write about 10 sentences using our vocab words from our spelling lists for that week. I always loved those assignments and I would go the extra mile by writing short stories using the words on the list. But for some reason my teacher always got mad whenever I did that. I didn't (and still don't) understand why she would always get mad at me for that because it wasn't like I wasn't following the assignment. I was just writing a short story with the words instead of writing stand alone sentences. I don't think I ever stopped writing stories with the words though. Not really to spite her, mostly just because I was confused why I *wasn't* allowed to do that.
The other day I was talking to my classmate on how schools would be so much better if they didn't force us to learn but instead we got to choose what to learn because then so many more people would actually like going to school and learning
Omg this is how schools are in America? I'm sorry for you, the schools in my country are very different. The schools you described existed like 20 years ago
I still think the biggest issue with the school system is that your grades don’t necessarily reflect your skill, but rather your ability to turn things in on time.
This is what happened to me. I use to be a curious kid and wanting to learn. Mostly arts but my school teachers would shame me saying i wouldnt make money out of it. So now i just gave up on art and when i try i just feel bad.
I have passed through the most difficult days of my life in school, and it wasn't because school was not cooperative,it had to do with the environment, children made fun of me because I made a small theory about the 4th dimension and demonized me a crazy scientist. I think the only solution would be selective schooling, for me at least.
I had this one kid in class who would ask "stupid questions" and get scolded a lot. He also didn't have good grades which caused teachers to pick on him even more. But he was a really creative guy. One day he bought something, I don't remember what but it had a lot of blinking lights that he made himself. I should probably mention that he was 10. Thankfully most of my current teachers are nice and actually answer our questions. (warning: minor cussing ahead) But even though the teacher is nice enough, I hate my English class. I'm from a non-English speaking country and the English education system here is shit. The government-provided English book is so useless I have debated burning it a lot of times. It's seriously a waste of paper, ink, time, and energy. We have two English books, grammar and literature (not really I will explain in a minute). The grammar book sucks it teaches things way under our grade. It's like if a college student is told to study a first-grader book and the funny part is nothing from it comes in the exam. Most schools don't even teach from it, it's so useless. But my hatred for my grammar book doesn't hold a candle to my hatred for the 'literature' book. I don't think it should even be called a literature book. The only literature in there are the same fables with questionable morals and one-dimensional characters that we have been forced to read for 10 years. It's the same thing over and over again every year. The other things that are in the book are awkward dialogues between one dimensional characters and praises of the government. This book is supposed to help students 'converse better in English' and 'encourage creativity' what a load of bullshit. This is not even mentioning the shitty exam questions patterns we have. The grammar question pattern is okay-ish despite the horrible textbook we have. But the literature ones... I don't even have the words to describe my hatred for it. Since this comment is getting long I'll only discuss one question. The is a 10-mark question we get which is called a completing story. Basically, a few lines are given (usually 2-5) of a well-known story or fable. We are supposed to write a minimum of two pages of what happens after the first few lines and give it a suitable title. You would think this is a perfect way for students to show their creativity but no. You're supposed to write it exactly how the original story is. You can change the wording but the event should remain the same. For example, you know the story about the tortoise and the hare? You can't let the hare win cuz that's not what happened in the og story. When we got a homework for completing story for the first time, I was excited for homework for the first time in years. The story was about a farmer and his four sons(sometimes it's three sons). I gave the four brothers more personality and emotions, I gave them motivations, I gave them flaws and strengths, I changed the storyline and gave them mini character arcs,I even mapped out the events and made a timeline. In short, I was very very excited. So excited that I ended up writing more than 20 pages. When I showed it to my teacher he was impressed by how much I have written not what I written which hurt a bit but that didn't kill my excitement of finally being able to write creatively. Then exams rolled up. For the exam, we got that story where two friends are walking and a bear shows up and one friend abandons the other to save himself. Only the part of the bear showing up was in the question. So, instead of one of them running away and ruining their friendship, I wrote about them helping each other and basically wrote bromance. I was literally forcing myself not to write too much since there is a limit. After the exam and the results, my teacher told me not to deviate from the og story and that we are not allowed to write outside of og events. That when I give public exams these stories will get less or no marks for not following og events. To say I was disappointed would be an understatement. I may sound dramatic but I was heartbroken. Since then I don't even bother to be creative in my school writing since what's the point? It will only give me bad grades. Sorry for the rant.
Now I understand why I loose interest in school. You actually right. I was sooooo smart in school but really got pissed off when teachers always says...DIDNT I TOUGHT YOU THIS? LIKE WTF!
When will we use it in real life? Like we wont even use that x, y, z, m, that thing in math I don't even care anymore, when will we use it? My teachers always says if someone ask you blah blah blah it's a shame if you can't answer it. Bro if you know the amswer go fu- answer it yourself

We need a system like this:
First 2-5 years: learning about the world and how it works, basic math, basic language(s)
4-7 years: more advanced math, more advanced language(s), basic Financials (credit and debit cards, interest, savings and stuff) maybe even an inside to local politics to they know whats going on locally abd nationally.
My high school chem teacher let us swear, call him CraigDog in public and at school, and was a general nice guy when he wasn't creating dis tracks for the students( his singing was beautiful and like nails on a chalkboard at the same time)
@@Men_Of_Culture33 this is definitely amazing, would recommend this structure instead of the depressing one
@@Men_Of_Culture33 This would make everything soo much better, especially for people that learn fast, they’d get so far in certain fields while still having access to guided assistance and other classes for some subjects they may not know enough about, it’s basically college but you have a mandatory couple of years (less than the 12ish we have now) choose everything yourself, and don’t have to get into debt
UNFORTUNATELY that means the school system wouldn’t be profitable, which means no one with enough money to execute this would ever want to invest in this

This is why a good teacher can make or break an education
Yeah I had 1 good teacher and the rest are just $h!t and I had 11 total teachers who taught me
I had one good math teacher during 7th~9th grade, then I became “good” at math under him.

It's to the point that when there's something I need to learn while playing a game, like a new skill or technique. I just lose all motivation.
I remember in freshman year I took a special seminar class that was language arts and social studies combined, and more project based.

School isn’t about learning. It teaches people to obey and that there is a right and wrong answer when most of the time there isn’t.

I have not allowed school to do that to me by always staying curious and always learning new things.
Good , stay like that
Games also helped me stay like that as I learn something new every day 💀
For example, a random question to keep you curious: WHY SHOULD WE NEED TO LEARN SOMETHING THAT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH OUR CAREER CHOICE?

Ohh yeah that's why my first period is weird after. Then again I sometimes chime in to add to that
Btw, a quote I read from Anne of green gables: “no child should go to school until it is at least 7”
And in the same book, kids aren’t forced to go to school, the parents/guardians decide when the kid should go, if ever, and until then they teach them things at home.
No bro it's memory
Its none of their business, Ignore those loser, If theres one thing i hate in this world its people not appreciating people idea
(warning: minor cussing ahead)
But even though the teacher is nice enough, I hate my English class.

@@aalusm yeah what they teach you at school is pretty useless. It's not something to be applied it's just for the exam which is an evaluation criteria. You have to do well in them to go to college and eventually get a job. It's not a perfect procedure definitely but it is what it is and we can't change that
This why I plan to homeschool my kids
Same
SAME BRO
I would say that homeschooling doesn't give them the social skills needed in life, but I mean, schools don't do that either
@Anonymous fingers SHUT UP!
@Anonymous fingers BIASED
there's so many things I want to learn on my own, but nah I gotta finish writing essays with instructions I can't understand, I'm very dyslexic and the teachers know but do nothing to help which sometimes make me break down questioning "what's wrong with me?????"
If anything, there's something wrong with the teachers for knowing you need the help and just not helping
The "Let me explain" never get old....
at this point, technology should teach us instead because we tend to want to learn more online than at school
Yes
Thats because you are learning out of your own curiosity, no ones forcing you to do it
soo true and so sad
it is so demotivating :(
thats why you always put on a fake smile, cant be demotivated if you wish to die
Dude i learned more in this video than my 9 years in school
I remember -5 things about school
@@henrysepicchannel522 i knowed calculus from a youtube video in 5 minutes.
My school took 6 months to teach calculus to me and i still don't understand
@Anonymous fingers i don't have friends to talk to.
I rarely daydreams.
@Anonymous fingers i have a trauma after being punched in the face and being bullied.
them how much do you remember form school
me: Y E S
This is so relatable. When I was a kid, ( like 7 years or something), we would learn shit that they we wont ever neeed.
One of the worst parts is how if you can't learn something a certain way, you are just stupid and worthless
Yeah cuz by teacher logic there cant be any other way sonething csn be solved other than the way the teacher wantd it
"Well your answer is right but you still get no points for it cuz you used a different method than me "
True for me at all subjects
And plus we don’t even learn that much in school I am a geography nerd and I learned 99% of what I learned in geography by myself from UA-cam
Yeah same here
Same,I learned most of my geography from UA-cam.
Thank you @HappyEarth.
This goes deep as hell
At least school is like one of the only normal places to make friends
I didn't lol
@@kiwi_bird [insert obnoxious laughter]
Just kidding
I cry everyday because of school because its so depressing and i just want to make money online and start a business , and school is keeping me away from it
School: why would video games do that
