My speakers/preamp/amp have always been dead silent even when I put my ears up against the speakers.
Yes, I'm surprised that in my setup, the LPS did further improve the SQ even though I already have the DDC Denafrips Iris 12th and external DAC Denafrips Pontus II 12th-1, both have galvanic isolation.
More musical. Vocalists sound smoother and more real, stage is more open, fuller, more depth, natural bass, better decay. Seems more lively. Closer to live music.
I'm enjoying some songs and I hear some new inhales that I didn't before.
But the Eversolo runs warmer.
UA-camr Hans Beekhuyzen said he thought that the improvement is now equivalent to a $2k Euro streamer (but not a $4k Euro streamer).

I spent 30% more than the stock Eversolo and I got the equivalent performance of a $2k Euro streamer which is a 100% return; this makes the LPS an excellent upgrade especially in this audio hobby of diminishing returns.
I would recommend an upgrade to a DDC like the Denafrips Iris 12th (fixes noise and jitter), then a very good preamp, before doing an upgrade to the LPS (fixes noise).

Eversolo DMP-A6's equivalent in the higher end line is the $1599 Zidoo Neo S and comes preinstalled with a LPS and a few extras (which I don't care because I use an external DAC); so I saved $500 by doing it myself and tinkering was fun.

Very interesting. I do own both the A6 and the Iris 12th. I currently use the Iris as a filter between the PC and the Eversolo and got very good results. I was considering the LPS upgrade but unsure if the resolution will be heard on my powered Klipsch speakers. I am considering upgrade to Genelec 8030's but this will not happen before 2025 I think.

Yes in my setup:
My enclosed guest bedroom with 4 walls and a door sound better than my open family room to the kitchen.
(room size is 12'wide x 17'long x 10' tall, a room with 4 walls, carpet, popcorn ceiling, natural sound treatment with furniture/window shades/my 150in screen for the front wall, speakers pulled 2-3 feet away from the front wall and a foot away from the side walls and no objects between the front L/R speakers)
12' between the speakers versus 6' makes a huge improvement, and I sit 12' away.
