The fight becomes nothing more than spamming "Scratch That!" until both dudes drop to 1 HP
For what it's worth, sometimes (like for Happy Teddy Bear) the best thing to do is "nothing." If you avoid rolling against any of its dice at all, it will *never* be able to use Nostalgic Embrace Of The Old Days, because it relies on clashing to lower its cost
Just had a weird dream where i was dming a dnd session and one of the players did something that contradicts their characters alignment, i then went ok this is your first warning do it more times and i forcably change your character alignment. Then i literally played first warning from this game. My two obsessions are merging help.
it takes reduced damage from slash attacks ontop of resisting it, it has crazy low stagger resist, it has decent pure defence cards and one kinda weak card that instantly staggers you if everything hits. If I remember everything correctly.
If you go to NexusMods, you can download the basemod and console mod. From there, you can reinitiate any abnormality fight from the console. I know this is an unofficial way of doing this, but for now it’s the best fix we’ve got.
I really enjoy how LoR’s version of first warning gives off more of a sense of mystery along with the usual dread and anxiety. Makes it feel like you’ve entered into an unknown realm you don’t belong in
