@@bbqreunie984 if the 100k price difference put it in my price range then of course the Princess or if I chose the v40 and money wasn't a issue I'd spend the saved $ for upgrades to the v40. I think the interior is a lil more or feels a lil more roomy on the Windy. I guess at the end of the day it's all about preference and I would need to see a side by side comparison there's to many things to list but fuel, water capacity to name a couple. I'm glad you commented it got me thinking about how I'd spend my money. ✌

@@AQUAHOLIC THX for the reply/info, I guess it's just math that made me believe it has occurred. You have tons of vids & there are only so many but manufacturers out there, so you have many vids produced for each yacht manufacturer, then looking at the amt of views per vid & somebody has to of made a choice to buy a specific yacht bc if your vids. The other way to look at is if you have per say 5 million total views for all your vids, at least one has to have bought one from your vids.....hell, if i had the money, i would have bought one from your vids.....my favorite vessels(manufacturer, style, length) i watch those vids many times, lol. THX FOR ALL YOU DO & SHARING THESE VESSELS WITH US ALL, YOU DO AN AMAZING JOB SHOW CASING THEM & YOUR GROWTH SHOWS THE PROOF.

Plus...I'd bet that these videos have been the catalyst for someone purchasing a boat...lol.
This looks extremely comfortable for a weekender, and breathtaking performance considering the engine size.
I would put this in the category of ‘Playboy Toys.’ Breakfast in Cannes, dinner in Valencia, then on to Ibiza for the night life.

Hi Nick. For a 37 its a great layout. You wouldn't expect such a large space below decks. A complete closed cockpit and canopy that disappears is awesome. Great video.

Another very beautiful but still practical appearing boat from Windy. I couldn't spot a hanging locker for clothes though. I would pick this Windy any day over the weekenders from Fairline and Princess.

Totally agree. A collapsible bimini seems like a low budget add-on.
I was going to say the same. Being outdoors on the water is wonderful in small doses, but when the clouds roll in or when the mid-day sun is beating down, it's time to sit in the shade and sip a cool drink. Also, when underway the wind and spray quickly wear out guests and make relaxed conversation difficult.

As i understand it most of the Windy boats are built in my hometown of Västervik in Sweden and in Ostroda, Poland. When i was a kid they used to build Storebro yachts at the same facility and my mom was often hired as a translator/guide when important customers came from abroad to testdrive their newest creations.
That's quite a machine. I'm already planning weekend trips in my head. Well done.

While the video was playing I went to Windy's website and the first boat I looked at was the 32. Unfortunately, the website is awful. The gallery shows ridiculous close ups, no deck layout drawings. I really have no idea what that 32 looks like.
NIck - perhaps a project for you: On almost every boat you review, there's something that catches your attention, whether a particularly clever use of space, a special bit of layout or luxury, a feature that has enthralled you or just something that makes life special, easier or more comfortable. Regardless of size range, how about you come up with a list of your favourite features that, if you were designing a boat, you think should be included. Doesn't have to be the ultimate boat (you'd probably need 100m for that) but it has to be something that you have really liked.
That's an intriguing idea!
If that had side decks, this could almost be the perfect size and layout for where and the type of boating I do.

this is a gorgeous boat ! the best you've showed from the boot 2020 by far .... anyone can place lots of cabins etc on an 80 footer ..but creating so much room on so little space and make it look sexy as hell, that's craftmanship. I can see myself cruising along the coast of corfu , anchor down somewhere, having a cold chardonnaye and fall in love with my wife (and this boat ;) evry day again ...

She's awesome, perfect for a family weekend getaway for fun in the sun. Nice that the second cabin can be open style for family mode or closed for friends, very unique and clever. Seeing the name Windy on the back I would want to add the text Windmiller to it.....just my stupid sense of humour, plus showing my age !!

Well equiped and very useable for a weekend away. E.g. having the boat in porto Andratx or somewhere there and between Palma you can visit many nice bays like Ca's Patró March where one finds a nice restaurant but nothing else as tranquility.
Considering the Princess V40 the choise gets complicated.

Very nice boat with a good sized cabin, first I've heard of this builder. Hope you are able to feature their 46 Chinook in the future, I'd love to see it.

Very cool weekender. I wish there were more companies building true “expedition” level mini yachts. 40 knots is fun, but I would love to be able to go ‘round the entire Great Lakes region on one or two fill-ups, with a right proper galley, a separate stand up shower and sleeping for 4. It’s a lot to ask, but I think it can be done in the 40’ range.
For someone like me that would even be a good live aboard size.
Look at the new Nordhavn 40 to fill those requirements.
Great tour, beautiful boat!! But almost $500,000 (US) seems kinda steep for that, but that's just my opinion.
It's a high quality boat, there are cheaper boats out there, but in all senses of the word.

Don't forget that two big volvo diesel engines cost way more than the outboards (or gas sterndrives) more common in US. And of course, the quality of a Windy is among the best in the world.
