This video is such a powerful reminder of the impact of quiet strength and courage. Layla’s calm resolve in the face of injustice is truly inspiring. Kudos to her for standing her ground with such grace!

This is such a moving example of how standing up (or standing still) can spark meaningful change. Layla’s courage and Cynthia’s reflection give me hope for a kinder, more understanding world

How can we teach younger generations to stand up for themselves like Layla did while also promoting kindness and understanding?

These videos are so important! I am not Black (am Asian Indian American) and I give huge kudos to the Black Community for their strength, intelligence and resilience. When my car had run out of battery at a subway garage, I approached several people for help to jump start the battery. Only one person, an African American stopped and helped out even without me having asked him. When we had a car accident a Black woman spoke with us and volunteered her name and number to be a witness if required. My mentors at work are African Americans. So is our tax consultant. Differences are only at the surface. We all share the same values and we are all equally human irrespective of how we look or what religion we belong to! When will the world realize that????

We are all created by God therefore I will never accept the need for anyone to discriminate against a fellow human being.

Excellent Layla... sometimes folks have inherited biases and practices that are derived from ugly places but are not aware of. It is important to have the conversation because some folks may have actions that mirror discrimination but may not actually intend on being a person of discrimination.
When you care to have conversations to learn better and for awareness, then you begin to do better.
THE LORD JESUS CHRIST SAVES... and conversations and understands that heal a world of damaging encounters while making room for better relationships in and outside of our communities.
One day we will have only one community in and as THE BODY OF CHRIST, AMEN

It is an imaginary story but one that portrays reality !
It is not about the grace of Layla ! It really is about 'entitled' people like Cynthiya ! Despite backlashes , she never felt like saying " Iam sorry " to the girl or to anyone !
