Wow, I love this video. These guys are from Benin Republic. One of the neatest and safest place in the world. Because they engage in the various activities at young ages makes them independent of themselves rather than constituting menaces in the society. Follow your passion first and education will follow.
That's a great gesture Big Willz. It's a pity children have to work on building sites instead of going to school. It's a tough world out there, and all we can do is help any way we can.
BigWillz well done and it is so generous and kind of you to try and support these children in any way that you could. I do want to point out that this is effectively child labor and constitutes an abuse of the child rights act. It should be reported to the relevant authorities as well (even if we know the govern, ent has done very little to protect vulnerable children who are put to work in these dehumanizing ways).
Good that you helped those kids that should NEVER have been in a construction site because they are too young and they are not dressed appropriately to be working in a construction site. Were are the regulators?
They are doing the right thing. Not everyone will go to university. The world needs many vocationally trained people. All they need to do is have some academic education alongside their trade. And they will shine like the stars.
@@onelove6971 That is called child labor. They are too young to be working in a construction site especially without hard hat to protect them from falling objects and steel-nosed boots to avoid stepping on nails, etc. They are not trained in construction vocation. Parents who send their children to join labor force at such young ages should be arrested.
@@user-yz8jj2gu7h Unfortunately this is the reality of developing countries! If they don't work they don't eat ! There is no safety net .No welfare , no food stamps no section eight housing,. A public school system where you just show up and do not need to pay ANYTHING is unheard of !
God bless you sir for this 🙏🏾❤. These kids are very talented at what they do. I pray they stay committed to their craft and use this moment as a boost to continue to master their craft. There is a lot of money to be made in the construction sector in nigeria across the full spectrum.
Are there no laws in Nigeria against child labour in Nigeria? The owner of that house and the contractor should be arrested for child exploitation and labour
Arrested for what?? The kids are learning an essential skill needed in society. And staying out of trouble. They need encouragement not harassment from the public. This is an apprenticeship program albeit done in a old fashioned way. If every young boy has a trade. The society is blessed because nobody out there being public nuisance.
@@onelove6971 Did you read his comment? He wrote child exploitation and labor!!! When you become sick and need surgery, we will have those children operate on you so that they will learn valuable skills.
That looks like apprenticeship old school lol 😆. I bet you they will be independent economically very soon than those our lousy graduates who want the government to create jobs for them. Some kids like this could be that they will struggle to focus in traditional schooling but will enjoy practical entrepreneurial skills.
Aren’t there child labor law to protect these underage kids and ensure that there are no children left behind from basic necessities such as free education, meal and shelter. It saddens me to see kids work goes such hard life
There are laws. A situation where the parents can't afford to pay school fees, they make their kids go learn a trade. I'm not saying I support kids doing things like this, I'm only trying to explain what I think the issue is.

What you've done for the kids is very wise. That will encourage them to work hard and even go to school at some point.

I agree with you @Buchi the pay is way too small.
Sad, at this age these kids should be attending school.
