You are doing a great job of getting out on your walks and at the same inspiring lots of us to get moving too - I always tell myself that it doesn’t matter how short my walk is, something is better than nothing. However, I couldn’t face going out today in wind gusting at 70mph! Thank you for your very kind words about my latest podcast! xx
So pleased you were home from your walk before that storm! Lovely that you’ve had time for your crafting and your daughter’s blanket is coming along beautifully. I loved Helen’s podcast too regarding January and pleased you’ve recommended her to others x
❤❤so great you got such a great start to the day,,,🎉🎉 Nice treat out,,, Perfect,, Thanks Sarah,,,, I am having a good day ,too, ❤️ Elaine Enjoy Helen ,too,,, Love ur sweater🎉
Hi Sarah, well done, walking four miles, brilliant. No wonder you felt so good. It’s lovely to go further when you get the chance. I loved the shawl you put on, the yarn was so pretty and your blanket too. I walked to my knitting group and got blown along by the strong winds from the storm, it got worse in the afternoon, 75 mph so I didn’t go for my walk so knitted instead, lovely 😊
What a cliff hanger … who is your favourite comedian??? 😅 Your cardigan is lovely, I love the colour combination. Enjoy the rest of your time off. Take care xx
You inspired me Sarah, I was all for not bothering with my walk yesterday afternoon after the high winds and I was halfway through watching you and your happy face and rosy cheeks from your walk and I paused the video and got out the door. I was rewarded with a tiny glimmer of sun and a small patch of blue with mackerel sky. There is always something in nature to observe. Could you get an overshoulder drinks bottle carrier to save having to have a big drink before you go for a walk? I have even seen patterns to crochet something. I remember years ago talking to a physio who specialised in continence issues and she said it's best to avoid caffeinated drinks and green tea has more caffeine than people realise.
Hi Elaine. Well done for getting out and how lovely to see some beautiful nature. Thanks for the advice re caffeine. I don’t really need to drink when I’m out but that be a thought in the summer 😊
Brilliant walk and I’m sure Ali is a great motivator. I also think it’s very satisfying to reward yourself with something when you get home like your knitting. The cardigan looked lovely. Ooh who’s your favourite comedian? 😊
Dr Chattergee is great I have Crohn’s disease and after years of taking steroids I have developed Lupus I wish I’d known sooner the risks involved with long term high dose steroids but we live and learn watching you just back from a very hard dog walk I’m in the north East and the wind is awful even Ruby was ready for home I love to walk and my Crohn’s means I have to be not too far from the loo so I mostly walk in a loop I manage 2 miles most days and on a rare good 3 walking has definitely helped me physically and mentally being amongst trees and seeing fields and countryside just lifts my mood . Lovely Cardigan enjoy the rest of your day 😊☮️💗
Oh my! That Moroccan meal looked so good. I’m headed to review some recipes I have based on what I saw. Cheers! Oh, and I try to make sure I plan my walking and exercise routes near restrooms. I’m beginning to become a pro on where to find them because when I’ve gotta go, I’ve gotta go! 😂
Well done on your walk 🙌🏼🙌🏼 I did think you were brave having a tea before you left 😘. I don't drink for two hours before I walk. I also avoid caffeine as that just makes it worse. I rehydrate once home xx Your daughter's blanket is wonderful, coming along nicely and lovely colours. Thank you for sharing your life. Hugs Sharon xx 💞
A lovely video Sarah. You did indeed get your walk at the right time, with the weather. Love your floozie cardigan ❤. What a shame that your evening out was cut short. Cheers, 🥰👏💕❤️😍🤗
Love your cardigan. I walked 4 miles this morning indoors at my gym (the Y). That’s about normal for me. Walk indoors because the gym opens at 5am and I’m there when they open.
Hi Sara, just watching you while I’m on the treadmill I would’ve loved to get out and get some fresh air and run outside today but the storm is not playing anyway bonus I get to watch you while I’m working out. like you say anything is better than nothing love the colour of your daughter’s blanket. I promised my daughter one from the university in September and I haven’t even started it yet so maybe I need to think about that. It’s just so many other nice things I want to do as well nice problems to have glad you’re getting through January. I normally love it but it’s been a long month!
Hi Jenny. Thank goodness for treadmills when the weather is too bad. You’ve got plenty of time for your daughter’s blanket. Can you believe she’s going! Exciting time for them but strange for us 😊
👍 great walk you motivate me. I'm just getting back into it after a long bout of sciatic, winter here in Ontario Canada is also difficult so grocery store work. 😊
Lovely to see you walking 4 miles, fantastic. Love all your knits as well. 🥰
Hi Maria. Thanks for your encouragement. My body has felt tired after two long walks this week 😊

Hi Penny. Oops, I rewarded myself with tea and toast. The comedian we saw was Stewart Lee. We’ve seen him many times 😊

Hi Margaret. Well done for your regular walking. Doing a loop sounds good. Great to hear it has benefits and hope I can keep it up 😊

Hi Joan. Luckily there was only about five minutes of the show left. Felt sorry for the comedian 😊

Hi Wendy. Ouch! sciatica is painful. Hope you can get out more when the weather is not too bad 😊
What a shame that your night out ended early😮. Well done completing over 4 miles of walking😊
Hi Janice. Yes so pleased with the 4 miles 😊
