Not sure if i can mount the camera without drilling into my car, but i’ll be sure to do the mic. Haven’t been able to work on it with this 10°F weather 😂I think in 3-4 days when its 60°F i can get the video up! Appreciate it! ❤️

Don't! they are shit and have a non fixable transmission and you just have to live with it..
Do you have an oem camera? I was planning to do this on my kuga/escape
Does the mic work on yours, mine doesn’t and i had to wire in the “key1” wire to get steering wheel control to work
There are several different manufacturers of these on Amazon. Do you have a link to the one that you bought? Also, how is it working? Do you have any complaints or problems with it since the install?
i just installed the same unit in my 15 St3. I almost gave up because no sounds coming from the speakers :( i was ready to ship it back lol. i had to trigger the blue wire ( amp wire) to 12V power off the harness and it fixed my problem. i would highly recomend using the USB plug for the Android auto over wireless connection
dude i’d love to have an st3. i’ve definitely noticed a difference between wired and wireless connection too. been using wired lately and it doesn’t cut out or stutter anymore
How do you use wired connection, I plug my iPhone into one of the usb ports that came with this unit but music doesn’t play, it keeps trying to connect to car play. It’s annoying too cause when ever I try to turn off wifi hotspot from coming from the car it keeps turning back on.

How did you connect the door lock switch I have a 2015 focus se and it doesn't have a switch on the dash. How did you connect it? Also, did u get to do the camera video?
One of the power cables connects to it and controls all the buttons, like the lock, hazards, power, navigation, etc. It's for 2012-2018 so it will work with your focus too. I haven't done the backup camera because the only way to mount it is to drill into the back and I don't want damage in case I sell it
You can use one of your license plate screws to hold the back up camera in place, that’s what I did. I had to dremel the camera mount to make it a little bit bigger but it worked perfectly

With the addition of the Carplay/Android auto wires, where do they expect the USB ports to go because the guard at the bottom blocks them (at least on 2015 +)? Lol
I have the same problem and I’m guessing the 2 usb port piece Is for the ST or an earlier model SE. The A/C unit would have to be removed in order to fit it. I can show you what I did with the part that fits so I can use wired connection, but it’s not the most optimal for looks.

I haven’t gone through all the controls, but it’s worked really good for what i paid for. The bluetooth connectivity was glitching a bit at one point, but i think it’s from one of the wires not being fully pushed in. navigation and radio work good. If that’s the only issue then i love it and definitely recommend
Did you upgrade because your radio randomly stopped working?
I got this exact one becuase my radio in my 2012 focus stopped working, it would just play loud static and popping noises, this unit works great

mine just went out again. only the hazards and locking work, same for you or does nothing work?
I just installed this same unit in my Ford Focus and only the door lock and hazard buttons work too. None of the other buttons do anything.

@@tylersimpson3512no i just don’t use the buttons, you don’t really even need them. The only ones I need are the lock and hazards buttons and those are the only ones that work.
