In the Ph, you can really feel the New Year because everyone is making a racket - fireworks, firecrackers, loud music, loud honks, horns and trumpets, pots and pans, empty cans - literally anything that can cause loud noises! And that’s coming from every household because we believe it drives bad spirits away and welcomes good luck! Gosh I miss that kind of celebration.

What do you get when have unregulated and unsupervised firework use? A piece of ART! This is what we call a "chaotic order". Thousands of people who don't know each other and producing a breathtaking firework display that spans across the city skylines and the entire country. I hope the Department of Tourism would promote this celebration as one of the reasons to visit the country on New Years.
It's even crazier once you went to the street. Motorcycle engine noices, firecrackers, homemade cannons (this is illegal btw), horns (hand held, air horn, vehicle horns), pots and cauldron banging, cars dragging steel tubs etc. It's super loud. Still not as crazy as back in the day when firecracker regulation is still loose

Philippine has the most insane and uniquely way of welcoming a New year there's no place like here in any parts of the world, in many countries there's only a specific place for fireworks display but here in my country its literally all over the country from Luzon Visayas and Mindanao,. firecracker s although being regulated now during my younger years you can't go outside on Mew years eve mainly because all the streets, in your neighborhood people are lighting and throwing up ear deafening firecrackers its as if the way i describe it you're into thw warzone where sounds and decibels are not for weak hearts, although the recent years it was more controlled because of the efforts of government agencies to regulate the use of fireworks and firecracker's to mitigate the impact of accidents amd fire related incidents but ueah i really missed those sounds amd spectacle we all grown up to,
That is almost 1 hour fireworks. I remember when I was young, we have a neighbor who is military sergeant, by 12 midnight on New Years Eve, He used his armalite for about 30 minutes just to make a noise, the whole village is like warzone😂, while during the time our area is not a city. Our grandmother's used aluminum basin to make a noise, like drumming, children are using their torotots(trumpets) and greetings everywhere.

Same thoughts here. Abu Dhabi may have Sheikh Zayed Festival, Ras Al Khaimah may have the longest organized pyros, Dubai has Burj Khalifa but nothing beats the chaotic, deafening and amazing fireworks and firecrackers in the whole Metro Manila hood. Nakaka miss ang Pilipinas.
Sa japan, May isang lugar kung saan sinasalubong ang bagong taon at nagpapaputok ng fireworks. Kaya ang mga bahay sa 31 ng gabi tahimik at boring…. Kasi mga tulog na ang mga kapitbahay . Kaya Ako bilang pilipina na nagka Pamilya sa japan, miss na miss kuna ang ganitong new year’s celebration.

Thousands of people who don't know each other and producing a breathtaking firework display that spans across the city skylines and the entire country. I hope the Department of Tourism would promote this celebration as one of the reasons to visit the country on New Years.

It's even crazier once you went to the street. Motorcycle engine noices, firecrackers, homemade cannons (this is illegal btw), horns (hand held, air horn, vehicle horns), pots and cauldron banging, cars dragging steel tubs etc. It's super loud. Still not as crazy as back in the day when firecracker regulation is still loose

Philippine has the most insane and uniquely way of welcoming a New year there's no place like here in any parts of the world, in many countries there's only a specific place for fireworks display but here in my country its literally all over the country from Luzon Visayas and Mindanao,. firecracker s although being regulated now during my younger years you can't go outside on Mew years eve mainly because all the streets, in your neighborhood people are lighting and throwing up ear deafening firecrackers its as if the way i describe it you're into thw warzone where sounds and decibels are not for weak hearts, although the recent years it was more controlled because of the efforts of government agencies to regulate the use of fireworks and firecracker's to mitigate the impact of accidents amd fire related incidents but ueah i really missed those sounds amd spectacle we all grown up to,

That is almost 1 hour fireworks. I remember when I was young, we have a neighbor who is military sergeant, by 12 midnight on New Years Eve, He used his armalite for about 30 minutes just to make a noise, the whole village is like warzone😂, while during the time our area is not a city. Our grandmother's used aluminum basin to make a noise, like drumming, children are using their torotots(trumpets) and greetings everywhere.
