1997 Grade 5 ako nyan. Nung 90s yung Mom ko store manager ng Mister Donut SM Megamall. Every weekend nasa Mega kami. Ung mga arcade attendants noon binibigyan lang ng nanay ko ng donut maghapon na kami mag Street Fighter sa arcade ng utol ko.
Good ol' days. I miss the 90s. Walang tatalo sa dekada na yan.

I was born in 1994 and vlogs like these feel so nostalgic. Ito yung mga rare vlogs noon, hindi pa nga uso sa pilipinas yung vlog, pero its a good thing that people kept memories like these very well.

As someone who was born in 1998, I just love watching vintage 'vlogs' like this. How was life like then and seeing the pre-renovated facades of the buildings before like the SM Megamall.
Not to mention the songs that were played on the video like Paint My Love by Michael Learns to Rock and Wonderful Tonight by Eric Clapton.
More power to your channel and hopefully you could upload more videos from the 90s.

This was my childhood. Grade six ako nung time na to. It's weird that I still think of this time as the present and it doesn't seem that long ago for me. Luma lang talaga ung video recording pero as I remembered this time period, very vivid parin sya sa isipan ko.

I first visited SM Megamall in 1994, before and after my wedding in Bataan. It was the first big Philippine mall I had ever visited. Lots of nice memories. Thanks for sharing!

nakakaiyak… parang gusto ko bumalik sa panahon na yan. 1997 grade 3 ako nyan ang saya lang pag nakakapunta ng sm. naalala ko pumunta kami ni mama sa sm pinapili nya ako ng laruan, pinili ko ung spider-man sabi nya kasi may ipangreregalo sya. yun pala yung christmas gift nya sakin sa pasko.. ang dadi(lolo) ko naman dinadala kami sa glorietta at sm megamall para mamasyal. ang saya lang talaga non, ngayon may trabaho na ako kung tutuusin kayang kaya na bumili ng jollibee, sapatos at kung ano ano pa pero iba pa din nung 90s pag binibilhan ka nila mama, papa, lolo, lola ng mga ganyan.. parang mas masarap nga jollibee non nasa styro pa haha oh well the good old days :’)

Cannot help but try and remember where I was this particular day. Bec it was a Sunday, we probably had our own family day in the mall. Also the following day (Monday) could be the start of the new school year. Very nostalgic 😊😊😊

Pinanood ko lahat ng Star Wars re-release during that summer. Lagi din kami sa mega mall every Sunday. Favourite spot ko dun yung comic quest and arcade sa basement. Thanks for posting this. You have a great family.

Tpos ice skating rink malapit sa food court ng bldg a. Tpos may amusement park within sa pinakamataas na floor ng mega. Nakalimutan ko na anong pangalan ng amusement park na iyon
Yung pinapalabas na Star Wars eto yung 1997 Edition na original trilogy may mga konting added scenes, most notably yung Coruscant scene sa ending ng "Return of the Jedi." Ginawa ng Lucasfilm eto para magcreate ng hype in preparation for "The Phantom Menace" in 1999. Tamaraw FX din ang first car namen noon, Standard lang walang power steering. We bought it in 1997. Namasada din kame ng FX para extra income at may inaallot na seat saken sa harapan tuwing hatid sundo ako from PIQC to Marikina.

Namiss ko bigla ung lolo at lola ko. Lagi kami namamasyal sa Megamall noon kaming 3 lang. Lagi pa nila ako pinagaarcade noon sa baba dun sa gitna ng Megamall. Ngaun sila lolo at lola almost 20 yrs na nasa Heaven, but this place has some of my happiest memories as a kid.

OMG this is so nostalgic! im 32 now and i miss being young. naalala ko pa dito binili yung 1st na de gulong ko na bag and dito yung 1st time ko nakanuod ng sine with my lola and tita yung bata bata paano ka ginawa XD tapos yung drink na tinitinda dito sa foodcourt na umuusok specially yung ice skating rink!

Yung background music ang nag enhance ng eksena🤩...laman ako ng Megamall halos araw araw...dyan kc ang pick up point ng shuttle service namin sa work...laman ako ng Wendys or Kenny Rogers...at sinehan sa taas ang tulugan ko kapag straight OT at matrapik pauwi sa Rizal....bibili n lng ng medyas or brief sa ground floor ...😆 Dyan ako unang nakapanood ng Dolby Digital Sorround Sound kaya ako naaddict sa Hollywood Movie wala akong pinalagpas na blockbuster movies sa sinehan dyan.

I remember the old days, being taken to megamall as a kid by my tito and tita ..Riding at the back of the car ,waiting for us to arrive to the mall....Decades later , here i am as an adult, being able to go there on my own, doing my own driving... its just very nice to pause and get reminded what our lives was back in the day...

Camera technology drastically improved these past few years. Makes me think na yung nakikita ng mga tao that time is way way clearer, more HD than what the camera showed. Old camera really invoked nostalgia 🥹.
I wonder what people will see 50 or 100 years from now since what the camera shows nowadays is almost the same as what the eyes can see.
