Pep had a bench that could influence/change the game. We did NOT. The injury list we have means we just about have a starting 11 and thats it. No real options to come off the bench and make any kind of impact

KDB the difference doesn’t tell the whole story. The Toon scored two great goals with two breakaways, but the truth is they defended for 90 mins. City at a whole different level. If the Toon don’t move players on and spend big it’s going to be another 10 years of pain and frustration for the Geordie faithful.

What a performance from Newcastle. We were excellent and unfortunately we couldn’t hang on but this is why FFP needs to relax a little.
How do we buy the best players or attract the big sponsorship deals when we have one hand tied behind our backs.
The so called big 6 are being protected. The likes of Newcastle and Villa can’t consistently compete with the “big 6” by these FFP rules atm.
We need to be allowed to grow our club and revenue and that is by spending money.
No shame in losing to Man City but its the same old story. Lost it in the last part of the game when legs are tired and no replacements. I think we just have to accept that there is no witchcraft available to overcome so many injuries. But i do thik we need to ask questions about why so many injuries are going on??
Need our injured players back and work on concentration in final minutes, read that a third of the goals we’ve conceded have been in the final few minutes, not good enough
He will never get a good result against big teams. All he tells his team is to score a goal and then sit back all the way. He done that soo many times this season.

Isak needs to take a lot of the blame for how Newcastle surrendered in the last 30 minutes. He didn’t support his teammates at all and was never available. Very selfish in my opinion
Even if he had gotten the ball there would have been very little he could do with the other ten players on the field 30 yards behind him😂 whole team was a bit too deep and lacked pressing due to tired legs.

Last 10 matches in all competitions 2 wins 8 loss. Overrated manager, overrated club, overrate team and players. Back where they belong. They will go even further than to the end of the season and finish somewhere around 11th 12th place.

Who said that he is good in the first place. Hasn't been because of poor Chelsea and Liverpool last season they would have not achieved even that CL and this season the whole team fall apart like house of cards. Now some order has been restored and they are back where they belong. Mid-table second half of the tale.

@@sina7601we haven’t actually had a full team available since day one (which we battered Aston Villa) still have the most injuries of any club in the league and we have been worst off all season. If we had all 12 missing players back and time to regain fitness it would be a different story that’s a missing starting lineup already.
