What are the options for a woman when her man cheats in a relationship? Most of us will say, leave him and move on. Absolutely, why not? But what if you have a family involved, have little kids? What will the Society say?
But does it matter to her what the world thought? “Pudiya” shows a woman’s perspective to look at her broken relationship and be bold about her decisions. After all everything is fair in love and war!

I know it’s a just a movie made in specific genre still I have so many questions and I like to put it here as well. Psychologically when we make any person the centre of our life it is called obsession. What is the moral of the story for children? Will she teach them to do the same in case they will have the relationship trouble? Criminal psychology says, “once a person gets away with crime they get emboldened.” Such a horrible situation, you want just the person, like a trophy. Communication, Counselling sorting out everything went for a toss. What should those people do who has the kind of partner who cheats for the heck of it. They don’t have a specific ‘lover” such men should be kept poisoned forever? Because whenever they will be fit, flings will be there…… Ayurved such valuable knowledge and left everything then what twisted use!. How about she could have her own life even in part time practice till the time kids were very young…. Who knows she might not have him as the centre of her life but just as a partner as it should be….then may be their relationship dynamics would have been different. Why was she suicidal when she realised that he was cheating this happens when one has nothing but that person as his her life….. Which is very toxic. Really…. Cheating hurts creates self worth issues, depression and trust issues. But eventually one’s anger supports them and purpose of life pull them out of it . Watch this movie as a lesson that what should not be done as a woman as a man and as a person.

I agree! It is a great movie. But I watched it as a story only. In reality, relationships should be handled in a mature way. Every relationship goes through ups and downs. But the key is to talk about it. People don't cheat for no reason. There are many emotional needs which are ignored by the partners. It would have been good if the makers of the movie had covered those. If your partner is mentally not with you then what is the point of keeping his/ her body? Are you really that worthless? Keeping someone with you against their wish, just so that you can be happy is about your happiness only. This is not love or ishq!!! It is your insecurity. speaking aloud.

Wow!! loved the perspective of wife to deal with her husband who cheated on her. Everything was so logical and practical!! kudos to the story and the team who portrayed it so well
Wow what a story.!! She loved him that is one truth but she did what she did for her kids.This shows how good mother she is.A woman’s love will never be the same for her husband after seeing him cheat on her. But she never wants her house to be broken and never wants her kids to have broken hearts for their father. She did everything so wisely.
Moral of the story - Never mess with a woman! wo stree hai, wo kuchh bhi kar sakti hai.

That's one movie which is going to haunt you for a while. Beautiful screenplay and the plot keeps you on the edge throughout the movie. Attention to detail and each word spoken has an impact. Kudos to Ratish for the excellent direction of this movie and to the cast. The narration is the best and that what makes this so interesting. Highly recommend this movie to friends. A must watch experience 👌

What a woman can do get back her husband not just for herself but for her family! This is a story about being strong and to never loose hope, and it has been beautifully crafted by the actors & the director! It’s dark but positive! Keeps you engaged till the very last minute! The monologue and the cunning smile in the end is an epic! Very expressive!!

Great cinematography and dialogue. Sometimes women really don't have a choice. It's not easy to end your life or suffer all your life... This is also an option. Something to think about.

Wow! What a movie! What enthralled me is how Pudiya represents a woman’s grit and perseverance , how she overcomes all challenges to keep her family together vs suffering through it or walking away from it. This movie kept me at the edge of my seat - awesome cast, concept , powerful storytelling and direction! The poetry at the end was my favorite part and I loved how the the story and emotions were conveyed through every frame with the mood being set through the lighting , art direction and eerie background score. Looking forward to more productions from this team!

I have suffered extreme domestic violence. As a Homeopath, I also am aware of drugs that can cause harm. However, not even once I thought of harming my ex husband. I cannot condone this kind of vengeance. I hope such " Dr" are subjected to the worst by case by karma

Loved it, the poem expertly conveys the message, a woman has to fight for her own battles and it's her choice either be a loser or fighter. Wonderfully enacted by the female lead too.

I think the social message behind this film is very clear - DO NOT GIVE UP ON A RELATIONSHIP, DIVORCE IS NOT THE ONLY OPTION. Before you give up try a Pudiya (which is just a metaphor and should not be taken literally). When you see someone who is sick, or rotten you need to try to fix him/her. You do not just say I am sorry I am leaving you because you have a disease. Infedility is a disease in this society and instead of giving up on this relationship Brinda tries to save it. Well her choice may be wrong but the message is strong.
Everything is fair in love and war👍👍👍 well written, enacted and meaningful but limited dialogues. Loved the poem in the end depicting the story,emotions and pain she goes through. A risky and bold move though 👍👍👍

Beautiful script and message conveyed in loud and clear way but in silent action but teach lesson for betrayal too . Moral : never mess up with the woman in your life as a life partner .
This is not love but obsession. Vrinda took Urvashi as a challenge, and stooped so low even to hurt Anand, and emotionally manipulate him.
Love would have never allowed Vrinda to go to such an extreme.

Beautifully presented and choreographed. Loved the acting - natural and subtle. Ajay it was not easy to portray the role you did with ease. Rituja and Samhita played their parts beautifully.

If a woman/wife is abusive and involved in domestic violence and attempt to murder its fine. It needs to be glorified. The only problem we have a society and feminists is when we see a male protagonist slapping his girlfriend in "Kabir Singh"/"Arjun Reddy" or when a wife gets slapped once in a lifetime in a movie named "Thappad" otherwise everything is ok. It was cool and the glorification that was awesome.
