@Seth Borgeson Be as negative as you want but customizable kart leads to huge differences in gameplay compared to other titles where it's predetermined what you get. Want a bike for Bowser? You got it. Want a monster truck for Toad? You got it. Want the freaking Blue Falcon? You got it!
@@charKT-7461 That was also true in Mario Kart DS, but the karts were still pre-designed and looked cohesive while still able to be used with any character. Though then again, the models in that game only existed in karts, and bikes hadn't been introduced yet.
I thought about that too. Samus’ gunship in Rocket League looks sick! Nintendo could definitely put that in Mariokart- maybe with the top being transparent glass so you can see the racer and steering wheel.

Hey Nathaniel, A few months ago I've for an idea. I thought it would be sick to get new tracks revolving around Odyssey for the next Mario Kart. There are 17 kingdoms in Odyssey so we might need some more cups, but here is what it would be. Mushroom Kingdom : The classic idea of driving through Peach's castle and going through paintings, maybe start at the outside in the grass. Cap Kingdom : Going through the small town, and then climbing the tower and going through a gliding section to go back to the beginning. Cascade Kingdom : Exploring the kingdom in an ancient theme and driving between the fossils. Sand Kingdom : A one lap race where you start in the small town to then go to the oasis with the Lakitu, then go through the desert to arrive in the tower section, go on top of the tower to take a gliding ramp that leads to the floating pyramid, cross it to finally go back to the town. Lake Kingdom : Starting in the water between Cheep Cheeps, going in the town then going back to water. Wooded Kingdom : Starting in the forest, taking a path that leads to the robot section to then glide your way back to the beginning. Cloud Kingdom : A small race that has you going on a cloudy path, maybe kind of like Cloudtop Cruise where you go on a ship. Lost Kingdom : Exploring the lost island with tropical Wigglers around you and ending up gliding next to Glydon. Metro Kingdom : Well that's easy to picture, just going through New Donk City. Snow Kingdom : Probably a one lap race where you start in the snow and drive through Shiveria. Seaside Kingdom : A huge race where you often switch between land and water sections. Luncheon Kingdom : Going through the festival all the way to the giant bowl at the top, to then go back down. Ruined Kingdom : Another small one where you drive straight in the ruins, maybe even on the Ruined Dragon. Bowser's Kingdom : A one lap race where you glide from floating island to floating island. Moon Kingdom : Another one lap race where you start driving on the Moon, then go in the center to your typical lava section, then end up in the church. Dark Side : Climbing up to the tower then going back down. Darker Side : Probably going through the whole kingdom, facing the challenges until the end where you see the musicians playing at the top, then going in a glider section where you go back down. This might be very cool if it actually happens

I have a feeling that MK9 is going to be MKDD2. My reasoning is that MKDD was released in 2003, making the gimmick of having two drivers per car be 21 years old. They will probably want to keep things fresh, so why not add an old mechanic back into another games mechanics like MK8DX. A smooth-controlling, multi-layered, anti-gravity infused race courses with two characters per car is something most Mario Kart fans have not seen for a long time (again, for 21 YEARS). A sequel of that game specifically is kinda inevitable.
Idea for battle mode: Lakitu throws painting on your tires (like in Mariokart live home circuit) and you need to paint the entire map like in Splatoon. The team with the most paint wins

To be honest, I think they should add the MegaCloud. This is taken straight from Mario Kart Wii Custom Tracks, and it works like a thundercloud but instead of shrinking you it gives you a megamushroom effect. That way you are ENCOURAGED to keep the item or bump into the player that has the cloud.

I have a few ideas for items: Spiny shell: currently the item used is the winged blue shell. The difference is that the winged kind would fly above all the other players, only hitting the player in 1st, whereas the non-winged variety would be able to hit other players in its path. Warp block: I thought of having an item that warps the player too. The player throws it somewhere ahead of them and then warps to that location. There could also be the mystery box, the purple version with a ? on it that would warp you to a random location. Lakitu’s cloud: this item would activate whenever a player falls of the stage, either carrying them back on the stage faster than lakitu or allowing them to drive in mid air for a short time. Items I could see altered: Pow block: I could honestly see it being a throwable super horn. Thundercloud: it would have two states: happy and angry. When happy it would be a lighter gray and would have a rainbow on top and would speed up the player. When it strikes, it will give the player a boost while it would have its regular behaviour when angry but would slow down whoever has it. It would be a darker gray and would emit rain. It could also be merged with the lakitus cloud, with the happy mode behaving and looking like the lakitus cloud and the angry mode acting like the thundercloud originally did. When the player first gets it, it would be in its happy state. Players would be able to steal it by bumping into the player who has it, causing it to stay happy. The player can also pass it off to someone else by bumping into them, making the cloud angry. If the player is hit by an item, the thundercloud would become angry but would stay with the player.
The non-winged variety already exists and I hate it EDIT: Also do you know how broken the warp block could be? You could do super broken shortcuts with it. But I like that.
I have high hopes for Mushroom Gorge and Coconut Mall in the next Mariokart game, since they were in MK7 and not MK8. Also I know this may be unlikely, but I want them to remake MK7 Rainbow Road in HD soOOO baddd 😭 It’s the best rainbow road, hands down. It would be awesome if the stage based on it was remade for Smash, but alas, that will NEVER happen... 😢😣😔😪

The only thing I don’t like about Mariokart 7, which may be my favorite Mariokart game, is that it featured so many great Wii tracks and therefore MK8 is missing them. HD remakes of those tracks would be gorgeous.
I like the pow cause it can make some really strategic plays, like purposely holding on to red shells in case you get a pow so you can screw up someone's race, dropping back and forcing everyone to spam power items and shocks, or else (on all items can land mode) you'll take them instead. In Nathaniel Bandy's description of the thundercloud, he said, "You'll get shrunk if you don't pass it off," which is the entire point of the thundercloud. It builds up that adrenaline and makes races way more interesting.
Here is a prediction: What if Nintendo made all the retro cups nitro cups, so we would get 32 new tracks, while there are 8 new retro cups, each for one of the previous Mario Kart games. Like the Wii cup could have Toads factory, Coconut Mall, ect. Or the N64 cup would have coco mountain, Wario colosseum, and two other good tracks/fan favorites. Again, the old nitro grand prix are still nitro, while the shell, banana, leaf, and lightning are now nitro, as well as getting 8 new cups, (SNES, N64, GBA, GCN, DS, WII, 3DS, and WII U) this would be perfect for Mario kart 9, because there would still be as many nitro cups as retro cups.
Here is what I would like to see in the next Mario Kart in ways of tracks: Retro Tracks: - Decided to go 2 from each game because 8 nicely fits into 16 - This is in no particular order SNES Koopa Beach 1 - Could be a good Shell Cup track, this track has potential to look really nice in HD and it could work in the underwater driving mechanic well. I would rather see 1 than 2 because I prefer that version. SNES Vanilla Lake 1/2 - Don't really mind which version gets in, preferably 2 because it's my favourite Super Mario Kart track but I wouldn't mind seeing 1 return either. I can see it being a Banana - Leaf Cup track either way and they could turn the lakes into mini underwater sections. This track also has potential to look really nice in HD although that goes for all my picks N64 Kalamari Desert - Sunset in HD? Sign me up for that! N64 Bowser Castle - I have so much nostalgia for this specific Bowser Castle, I would love to see a modified version of it make a return. It has the potential to look really nice and have some really interesting Anti Gravity sections GBA Boo Lake - I just want one of the GBA Ghost Tracks to make a return, preferably Boo Lake as this track has a lot of potential for gliding segments right at the beginning GBA Rainbow Road - Just following the already established patern here GCN Luigi Circuit - Yoshi Circuit has been remade a lot of times, I would like to see them re remake one of the other circuits. Luigi Circuit I found to be quite an interesting opening track and due to the design of the stage, the track has potential to be really chaotic in HD! GCN Wario Colesseum - Just imaging the amount of anti gravity they can include on a track like this! DS Waluigi Pinball - This track is a classic, I would be surprised if it didn't return. The Mario Kart 7 version was good but didn't really do it justice, Nintendo could really go insane with a track like this DS Peach Gardens - Another track where the remake on Wii was good but I think this stage has a lot of potential to look incredible and maybe even include a few underwater segments Wii Daisy Circuit - What I said about Kalamari Desert applies here Wii Moonview Highway - Another track that has the potential to look fantasy in HD, also it's my favourite city track by far, the hectic music, the tough challenge and the boost panel sections at the end makes it a blast to play 3DS Shy Guy Bazzar - This is another track that could look incredible in HD, they can also add in an Anti Gravity section on the part with the chicanes 3DS Wuhu Mountain Loop - I know I've already said it but tracks with a sunset have potential to look fantastic in HD and this is no exception, not to mention, each Mario Kart has had this trend since Wii where the last track of the Star Cup of the game before the previous game makes an appearance (DK Mountain in Wii, Airship Fortress in 7 and Grumble Volcano in 8) and I reckon this track will follow the trend. Well I hope as it is one of my favourite MK7 tracks Wii U Sunshine Airport Wii U Big Blue - I just grouped these together, don't really mind what MK8 track returns, I reckon these 2 would have a high chance though as they are fan favourites Nitro Tracks (In no particular order): Circuit 9 - This could make a good opening track to have a simple stage shaped like a 9, this would only work if they call it MK9 though, the gap between the point and the loop of the 9 could be a glider segment into a massive open area with split roads Mario Circuit - I would like to see a Mario Circuit to be based on a realistic indoor go kart track, sounds boring at first but add in some boost panels and some really sharp turns and you have the perfect Flower Cup track. It has potential to be really fun on 200cc if Nintendo does it World 1 - 1 - Just have a track in the 8 bit esthetic of the original Mario Bros, they could even do an Excitebike Arena with it and have the terrain change each lap Arcade - I don't have a name for it but an Arcade based level could be really fun, maybe there could be a section where you jump into an arcade machine and dodge hazards from that game DK Tropical Freeze - This could be a cool level where one half is a beach whereas the other half is icy Village - A track based on a Village could be a nice change of pace for the traffic levels, it can be a nice track with the occasional traffic and the mushroom houses Painting - A level based on a painting level from Super Mario Bros Wii U could be a really cool concept for the spooky track New Donk City - I know I have 2 traffic tracks but so did Double Dash, besides New Donk City has a lot of potential to be an amazing track. They could include so much such as driving on walls, avoiding traffic, going into the cinema, driving along I Beams ect. Maybe on the final lap, the Mecha Wiggler attacks the city Boom Boom Fort - A mini Bowser's castle with thwomps, fire sticks and even those gears from the New Super Mario Bros games Water Slide - Every Mario Kart has that easy water level, how about theme the level on a water slide that you go down for most of the track! Saloon - Another Mario Kart trope is the desert level, how about a desert level that has a Wild West theme where you even drive through a saloon? Bound Bowl Grand Prix - It already is a track in Mario Odyssey, they could either port it over or make an entirely new track with the theming Restaurant - This is my funny Big House prediction but I think it could be cool to have a track where you are shrunk down and food is the obstacle, could be very similar to a Micro Machines this could be Big Track - I just want want a track where everything is huge, that's all Bowser's Castle - I really hope Nintendo bases it off of either World Bowser in Super Mario 3D World or, my preferred choice, the Japanese castle in Mario Odyssey. I don't want another generic fire bowser castle level as I don't see what else they could do with the concept Rainbow Road - I would like to see the Moon, Dark Side and Darker Side incorporated into a Rainbow Track, I also want it to be actually challenging as the previous 2 Rainbows Road's were too easy in my opinion, I want it to have MKWII Rainbow Road levels of difficulty

On second thought, we should have either Wario Stadium or Wario Colosseum. Not both big Wario tracks. The GameCube track in the lightning cup could be DK Mountain or something
Some suggestions Day cycles: Lets you choose the time of the day on a track, this can be afternoon, evening and night. Similair to SMM2. Track Maker: Gives you the option to make tracks on your own and upload them online so other players can play them as well. If they'll add that including the predictions in this video, it'll be the perfect Mario Kart game for me.
Here's an idea, a movie studio. You go through a western, an alien sci fi, and some other crazy stuff (This idea is taken from need for speed 2 monolithic studios)
I would say horror, but we have a few amazing ones already like Luigi's Mansion and Twisted Mansion. Both have which have phenomenal songs to accompany the experience
One thing they could do in actually use the points that you score from what place you’re in to unlock stuff. The way they could do it is multiply the scoring system by 10, so instead of scoring 15 points for placing 1st, you score 150. How would this work for unlocking characters and kart parts? Well those would still be unlocked with coins but, every 10 points you score could be traded in for 1 coin. So 10 points = 1 coin, 20 points = 2 coins etc. This is basically a “Mario Kart rewards” if you know what I mean.

@Dorothy Cho @@coos8730 Sorry, you’re right, I should have worded that differently. I don’t mean that nothing that is in Tour should be in a mainline Mario Kart game. Even Mario himself is in Tour so obviously we can’t have nothing carry over. I mean some of the mechanics and modes Tour introduced. To be specific, I really dislike the simple, mindless challenges and frenzy items. I’m not against all items returning like the Bowser shell or double Bob-omb, but I don’t want to see *exclusive* items for each character. To me that messes up the balance, and was a pay to win feature of Tour I disliked. Also the trick courses and even reverse courses in my opinion were a terrible gimmick that just felt boring, they only existed because of the lack of content and the *need for trick points* to three-star a level. In terms of characters. I don’t really have anything against adding a character to Mario Kart. If someone doesn’t like one, they can choose not to use them. I think King Bob-omb would be a great addition as well as many other characters that are in Tour and other previous games like Petey Piranha, Funky Kong, and DK Jr. There are many things Tour has that I wouldn’t like to see gone, but the main mechanical changes of Tour I would like to never see again. I don’t see Pauline as an exclusively Mario Kart Tour idea, people had had that idea ever since Odyssey came out so it wasn’t like it was something new Tour introduced. I would absolutely *love* to see Pauline and New Donk City be featured in the next mainline Mario Kart. Maybe there could even be an Odyssey Cup!! I think that would be an amazing addition. Point is, there are things in Tour that I do like, but the main characteristics of Tour I hate...and there better be no options for micro transactions unless it’s good DLC like MK8 had.
I have 2 ideas for new items ⬇️ 🔵P-Switch🅿️ When activated every one will slow down, receive a blue circle under the vehicle, will not be able to use their items, loose 3 coins, and all coins would turn into bricks. The Blue circle would appear under the vehicle when the P-switch is active, in addition the P-switch music would play, and an icon of it would appear above you, like the POW Block. When the P-switch isn't active none of these things will apply and bricks will turn back into coins. The effect of the P-Switch would last 10-15 seconds with it being random each time and it would also have a cooldown after being used to prevent back to back P-Switches. You would get this item in the span of 9th through 12th place. Basically this item is better than a POW Block, less effective than a shock, and also uses some of its own characteristics. ⛔️Pathway Disturber🚫 Any Jump ramp, glider ramp, anti-gravity section, boost/dash panel, or shortcut would be disabled for a certain amount of time, let's just say 5 to 10 seconds. This would allow players in the back an opportunity to catch up and prevent people from going a certain path. It would be completely random for what it would disable ,and how long it would last. Finally for the probability, you would have a chance to get this item if you're in 4th through 8th place in the race.
I hope the P Switch doesn't appear frequently like the POW Block. That would possibly make the former almost as bad as the latter, and I consider the POW Block the second worst item in the series behind the Thunder Cloud.
@@greninjamariokartpokemonfan I also didn't mention you can avoid the P-Switch by using a invincibility item at the right time like the Shock. I personally think that POW Block is better than the Blooper. In my opinion I think the worst items are the Thunder Cloud, Blooper, and the Coin.

The FIB is basically a worse version of the Banana that fails its intended purpose, which is to trick players into thinking it's a real Item Box. For my top 10 worst Mario Kart items, the Fake Item Box takes the number 6 spot.

Ever since I was a kid I ALWAYS thought that Dry Bowser would be PERFECT as the final boss for a Mario Kart adventure mode. There was even a boss race against him on an MKWii tournament, just like the Pokey boss and Galaxy Colosseum.
In my opinion, final bosses would be the way to unlock the boss. But it actually is a good idea if you would unlock HIM that way

A few months ago I've for an idea. I thought it would be sick to get new tracks revolving around Odyssey for the next Mario Kart. There are 17 kingdoms in Odyssey so we might need some more cups, but here is what it would be.
Mushroom Kingdom : The classic idea of driving through Peach's castle and going through paintings, maybe start at the outside in the grass.
Cap Kingdom : Going through the small town, and then climbing the tower and going through a gliding section to go back to the beginning.
Cascade Kingdom : Exploring the kingdom in an ancient theme and driving between the fossils.
Sand Kingdom : A one lap race where you start in the small town to then go to the oasis with the Lakitu, then go through the desert to arrive in the tower section, go on top of the tower to take a gliding ramp that leads to the floating pyramid, cross it to finally go back to the town.
Lake Kingdom : Starting in the water between Cheep Cheeps, going in the town then going back to water.
Wooded Kingdom : Starting in the forest, taking a path that leads to the robot section to then glide your way back to the beginning.
Cloud Kingdom : A small race that has you going on a cloudy path, maybe kind of like Cloudtop Cruise where you go on a ship.
Lost Kingdom : Exploring the lost island with tropical Wigglers around you and ending up gliding next to Glydon.
Metro Kingdom : Well that's easy to picture, just going through New Donk City.
Snow Kingdom : Probably a one lap race where you start in the snow and drive through Shiveria.
Seaside Kingdom : A huge race where you often switch between land and water sections.
Luncheon Kingdom : Going through the festival all the way to the giant bowl at the top, to then go back down.
Ruined Kingdom : Another small one where you drive straight in the ruins, maybe even on the Ruined Dragon.
Bowser's Kingdom : A one lap race where you glide from floating island to floating island.
Moon Kingdom : Another one lap race where you start driving on the Moon, then go in the center to your typical lava section, then end up in the church.
Dark Side : Climbing up to the tower then going back down.
Darker Side : Probably going through the whole kingdom, facing the challenges until the end where you see the musicians playing at the top, then going in a glider section where you go back down.

I have a feeling that MK9 is going to be MKDD2.
My reasoning is that MKDD was released in 2003, making the gimmick of having two drivers per car be 21 years old. They will probably want to keep things fresh, so why not add an old mechanic back into another games mechanics like MK8DX. A smooth-controlling, multi-layered, anti-gravity infused race courses with two characters per car is something most Mario Kart fans have not seen for a long time (again, for 21 YEARS). A sequel of that game specifically is kinda inevitable.
You can avoid the POW Block if you are in the air while it goes off. Not only will you retain your speed, but you will also retain your items.

To be honest, I think they should add the MegaCloud. This is taken straight from Mario Kart Wii Custom Tracks, and it works like a thundercloud but instead of shrinking you it gives you a megamushroom effect. That way you are ENCOURAGED to keep the item or bump into the player that has the cloud.
I actually want the thundercloud, I love the chaos it causes when someone pulls it in the middle of the pack

I have a few ideas for items:
Spiny shell: currently the item used is the winged blue shell. The difference is that the winged kind would fly above all the other players, only hitting the player in 1st, whereas the non-winged variety would be able to hit other players in its path.
Warp block: I thought of having an item that warps the player too. The player throws it somewhere ahead of them and then warps to that location. There could also be the mystery box, the purple version with a ? on it that would warp you to a random location.
Lakitu’s cloud: this item would activate whenever a player falls of the stage, either carrying them back on the stage faster than lakitu or allowing them to drive in mid air for a short time.
Items I could see altered:
Pow block: I could honestly see it being a throwable super horn.
Thundercloud: it would have two states: happy and angry. When happy it would be a lighter gray and would have a rainbow on top and would speed up the player. When it strikes, it will give the player a boost while it would have its regular behaviour when angry but would slow down whoever has it. It would be a darker gray and would emit rain. It could also be merged with the lakitus cloud, with the happy mode behaving and looking like the lakitus cloud and the angry mode acting like the thundercloud originally did. When the player first gets it, it would be in its happy state. Players would be able to steal it by bumping into the player who has it, causing it to stay happy. The player can also pass it off to someone else by bumping into them, making the cloud angry. If the player is hit by an item, the thundercloud would become angry but would stay with the player.
The non-winged variety already exists and I hate it
EDIT: Also do you know how broken the warp block could be? You could do super broken shortcuts with it. But I like that.

I like the pow cause it can make some really strategic plays, like purposely holding on to red shells in case you get a pow so you can screw up someone's race, dropping back and forcing everyone to spam power items and shocks, or else (on all items can land mode) you'll take them instead. In Nathaniel Bandy's description of the thundercloud, he said, "You'll get shrunk if you don't pass it off," which is the entire point of the thundercloud. It builds up that adrenaline and makes races way more interesting.
A lot of franchises are getting the “Everything is in one game” treatment, so why not Mario Kart. I even said I wanted a Mario Kart Ultimate.

Here is a prediction: What if Nintendo made all the retro cups nitro cups, so we would get 32 new tracks, while there are 8 new retro cups, each for one of the previous Mario Kart games. Like the Wii cup could have Toads factory, Coconut Mall, ect. Or the N64 cup would have coco mountain, Wario colosseum, and two other good tracks/fan favorites. Again, the old nitro grand prix are still nitro, while the shell, banana, leaf, and lightning are now nitro, as well as getting 8 new cups, (SNES, N64, GBA, GCN, DS, WII, 3DS, and WII U) this would be perfect for Mario kart 9, because there would still be as many nitro cups as retro cups.
Here is what I would like to see in the next Mario Kart in ways of tracks:
Retro Tracks:
- Decided to go 2 from each game because 8 nicely fits into 16
- This is in no particular order
SNES Koopa Beach 1
- Could be a good Shell Cup track, this track has potential to look really nice in HD and it could work in the underwater driving mechanic well. I would rather see 1 than 2 because I prefer that version.
SNES Vanilla Lake 1/2
- Don't really mind which version gets in, preferably 2 because it's my favourite Super Mario Kart track but I wouldn't mind seeing 1 return either. I can see it being a Banana - Leaf Cup track either way and they could turn the lakes into mini underwater sections. This track also has potential to look really nice in HD although that goes for all my picks
N64 Kalamari Desert
- Sunset in HD? Sign me up for that!
N64 Bowser Castle
- I have so much nostalgia for this specific Bowser Castle, I would love to see a modified version of it make a return. It has the potential to look really nice and have some really interesting Anti Gravity sections
GBA Boo Lake
- I just want one of the GBA Ghost Tracks to make a return, preferably Boo Lake as this track has a lot of potential for gliding segments right at the beginning
GBA Rainbow Road
- Just following the already established patern here
GCN Luigi Circuit
- Yoshi Circuit has been remade a lot of times, I would like to see them re remake one of the other circuits. Luigi Circuit I found to be quite an interesting opening track and due to the design of the stage, the track has potential to be really chaotic in HD!
GCN Wario Colesseum
- Just imaging the amount of anti gravity they can include on a track like this!
DS Waluigi Pinball
- This track is a classic, I would be surprised if it didn't return. The Mario Kart 7 version was good but didn't really do it justice, Nintendo could really go insane with a track like this
DS Peach Gardens
- Another track where the remake on Wii was good but I think this stage has a lot of potential to look incredible and maybe even include a few underwater segments
Wii Daisy Circuit
- What I said about Kalamari Desert applies here
Wii Moonview Highway
- Another track that has the potential to look fantasy in HD, also it's my favourite city track by far, the hectic music, the tough challenge and the boost panel sections at the end makes it a blast to play
3DS Shy Guy Bazzar
- This is another track that could look incredible in HD, they can also add in an Anti Gravity section on the part with the chicanes
3DS Wuhu Mountain Loop
- I know I've already said it but tracks with a sunset have potential to look fantastic in HD and this is no exception, not to mention, each Mario Kart has had this trend since Wii where the last track of the Star Cup of the game before the previous game makes an appearance (DK Mountain in Wii, Airship Fortress in 7 and Grumble Volcano in 8) and I reckon this track will follow the trend. Well I hope as it is one of my favourite MK7 tracks
Wii U Sunshine Airport
Wii U Big Blue
- I just grouped these together, don't really mind what MK8 track returns, I reckon these 2 would have a high chance though as they are fan favourites
Nitro Tracks (In no particular order):
Circuit 9
- This could make a good opening track to have a simple stage shaped like a 9, this would only work if they call it MK9 though, the gap between the point and the loop of the 9 could be a glider segment into a massive open area with split roads
Mario Circuit
- I would like to see a Mario Circuit to be based on a realistic indoor go kart track, sounds boring at first but add in some boost panels and some really sharp turns and you have the perfect Flower Cup track. It has potential to be really fun on 200cc if Nintendo does it
World 1 - 1
- Just have a track in the 8 bit esthetic of the original Mario Bros, they could even do an Excitebike Arena with it and have the terrain change each lap
Arcade
- I don't have a name for it but an Arcade based level could be really fun, maybe there could be a section where you jump into an arcade machine and dodge hazards from that game
DK Tropical Freeze
- This could be a cool level where one half is a beach whereas the other half is icy
Village
- A track based on a Village could be a nice change of pace for the traffic levels, it can be a nice track with the occasional traffic and the mushroom houses
Painting
- A level based on a painting level from Super Mario Bros Wii U could be a really cool concept for the spooky track
New Donk City
- I know I have 2 traffic tracks but so did Double Dash, besides New Donk City has a lot of potential to be an amazing track. - A mini Bowser's castle with thwomps, fire sticks and even those gears from the New Super Mario Bros games
Water Slide
- Every Mario Kart has that easy water level, how about theme the level on a water slide that you go down for most of the track!
Saloon
- Another Mario Kart trope is the desert level, how about a desert level that has a Wild West theme where you even drive through a saloon?
Bound Bowl Grand Prix
- It already is a track in Mario Odyssey, they could either port it over or make an entirely new track with the theming
Restaurant
- This is my funny Big House prediction but I think it could be cool to have a track where you are shrunk down and food is the obstacle, could be very similar to a Micro Machines this could be
Big Track
- I just want want a track where everything is huge, that's all
Bowser's Castle
- I really hope Nintendo bases it off of either World Bowser in Super Mario 3D World or, my preferred choice, the Japanese castle in Mario Odyssey. I don't want another generic fire bowser castle level as I don't see what else they could do with the concept
Rainbow Road
- I would like to see the Moon, Dark Side and Darker Side incorporated into a Rainbow Track, I also want it to be actually challenging as the previous 2 Rainbows Road's were too easy in my opinion, I want it to have MKWII Rainbow Road levels of difficulty

Some suggestions
Day cycles: Lets you choose the time of the day on a track, this can be afternoon, evening and night. Similair to SMM2.
Track Maker: Gives you the option to make tracks on your own and upload them online so other players can play them as well.
If they'll add that including the predictions in this video, it'll be the perfect Mario Kart game for me.

One thing they could do in actually use the points that you score from what place you’re in to unlock stuff. The way they could do it is multiply the scoring system by 10, so instead of scoring 15 points for placing 1st, you score 150. How would this work for unlocking characters and kart parts? Well those would still be unlocked with coins but, every 10 points you score could be traded in for 1 coin. So 10 points = 1 coin, 20 points = 2 coins etc. This is basically a “Mario Kart rewards” if you know what I mean.

@Dorothy Cho @@coos8730 Sorry, you’re right, I should have worded that differently. I don’t mean that nothing that is in Tour should be in a mainline Mario Kart game. Even Mario himself is in Tour so obviously we can’t have nothing carry over. I mean some of the mechanics and modes Tour introduced. To be specific, I really dislike the simple, mindless challenges and frenzy items. I’m not against all items returning like the Bowser shell or double Bob-omb, but I don’t want to see *exclusive* items for each character. To me that messes up the balance, and was a pay to win feature of Tour I disliked. Also the trick courses and even reverse courses in my opinion were a terrible gimmick that just felt boring, they only existed because of the lack of content and the *need for trick points* to three-star a level. In terms of characters. I don’t really have anything against adding a character to Mario Kart. If someone doesn’t like one, they can choose not to use them. I think King Bob-omb would be a great addition as well as many other characters that are in Tour and other previous games like Petey Piranha, Funky Kong, and DK Jr. There are many things Tour has that I wouldn’t like to see gone, but the main mechanical changes of Tour I would like to never see again. I don’t see Pauline as an exclusively Mario Kart Tour idea, people had had that idea ever since Odyssey came out so it wasn’t like it was something new Tour introduced. I would absolutely *love* to see Pauline and New Donk City be featured in the next mainline Mario Kart. Maybe there could even be an Odyssey Cup!! I think that would be an amazing addition. Point is, there are things in Tour that I do like, but the main characteristics of Tour I hate...and there better be no options for micro transactions unless it’s good DLC like MK8 had.

🔵P-Switch🅿️
When activated every one will slow down, receive a blue circle under the vehicle, will not be able to use their items, loose 3 coins, and all coins would turn into bricks. The Blue circle would appear under the vehicle when the P-switch is active, in addition the P-switch music would play, and an icon of it would appear above you, like the POW Block. When the P-switch isn't active none of these things will apply and bricks will turn back into coins. The effect of the P-Switch would last 10-15 seconds with it being random each time and it would also have a cooldown after being used to prevent back to back P-Switches. You would get this item in the span of 9th through 12th place. Basically this item is better than a POW Block, less effective than a shock, and also uses some of its own characteristics.
⛔️Pathway Disturber🚫
Any Jump ramp, glider ramp, anti-gravity section, boost/dash panel, or shortcut would be disabled for a certain amount of time, let's just say 5 to 10 seconds. This would allow players in the back an opportunity to catch up and prevent people from going a certain path. It would be completely random for what it would disable ,and how long it would last. Finally for the probability, you would have a chance to get this item if you're in 4th through 8th place in the race.
I hope the P Switch doesn't appear frequently like the POW Block. That would possibly make the former almost as bad as the latter, and I consider the POW Block the second worst item in the series behind the Thunder Cloud.
@@greninjamariokartpokemonfan I also didn't mention you can avoid the P-Switch by using a invincibility item at the right time like the Shock. I personally think that POW Block is better than the Blooper. In my opinion I think the worst items are the Thunder Cloud, Blooper, and the Coin.

The FIB is basically a worse version of the Banana that fails its intended purpose, which is to trick players into thinking it's a real Item Box. For my top 10 worst Mario Kart items, the Fake Item Box takes the number 6 spot.
