I would want bigger kingdoms, slide levels, perhaps a “space” kingdom with physics like in Mario galaxy and lastly a co-op mode where 2 people can play as maybe Mario and Luigi.
Edit: oh, and definitely a hard mode. Some areas of the game are just too easy.

For the Hyrule Kingdom can you be a bit more specific? Like do you want the Hyrule Castle Town (from which game btw)? The big Hyrule Field (again, which game)? I love your suggestion it's just it's kinda hard to just ask for a Hyrule Kingdom when nearly every Zelda game (that features Hyrule) has a new take on what Hyrule looks like.

One moon could involve capturing a carousel horse and bringing it to the carousel.
yes maybe it can be the main part of delphino plaza where most of the moons are. since delphino plaza has an amusement park

Maybe getting on a roller coaster and doing a boss fight on that
Maybe a mission at a carnival stand where you have to hit cans with a baseball
Maybe using cappy to captrue a balloon and you have to float to the top of a ride and do a fight up there where you have to avoid the roller coaster carts speeding at you

One of the biggest attractions of Super Mario Odyssey is that the kingdoms that we visit are all very clearly modelled after certain places of Earth, Metro Kingdom is New York, Hat Kingdom resembles old, Victorian era London, Bowser Kingdom is Edo era Japan etc. The new kingdoms in Odyssey 2 needs to feature countries that had not been mentioned, but this would be a difficult task considering most of Europe as well as North America and Mesoamerica has been mentioned, and there aren’t a lot of places in the world left to make a separate game without having to revisit old kingdoms concepts, so...

Here are some ideas I have for Super Mario Odyssey 2
Each Kingdom is in a different Universe
This could allow you to encounter different versions of Mario, Luigi, Peach, etc.
Heck maybe you could end up in an alternate timeline.
Maybe you could have a custom costume and kingdom.
Also an interesting mode of transportation could be a legit car.
Maybe some moons could require to drive a good distance to the other side of a kingdom.
Maybe a race against time to a specific spot in the kingdom for a moon.
Here are some ideas I have for kingdoms/universes:
A horror kingdom
A restaurant kingdom
An apocalyptic kingdom
An arcade kingdom
A Hollywood kingdom
A safari themed kingdom
A corrupt kingdom
Maybe Mario could actually end up in our universe
Oh, and maybe we could have a season cycle. There could be moons that require you to be in a specific season to collect them.
The seasonal idea reminds me of his Mario Galaxy 3 prediction.

From a game design standpoint: The moons not all being accessible makes it so players aren't too overwhelmed and the moon limits are balanced, otherwise you'd have enough straight away, but it also gives you a reason to go back to kingdoms adding to the games longevity. However personally I do think it could be fun.
as a completionist and someone who almost never leaves a level before having collected everything, i still like what Nintendo did

These are actually amazing ideas good job man
I would like a kingdom where you take place inside a giant monster. You can travel through his body, and explore different locations. The boss could be a virus of some sort, and your mission is to save the monster.
An old-fashioned town would be really cool, with knights, and a road leading out of the town with a forest leading to a castle where you have to fight a dragon. Maybe there are yoshies in this kingdom.
A ghost forest theme would be amazing, where you can enter a spooky mansion. You can possess boos and walk through walls.The boss could be king boo.
I really like your idea about an airship theme. You may possess bob-ombs, and bullet bills might return here. The boss could be Bowser jr in a clown car, where you possess the bob-ombs, and somehow jump up to him to make him explode, so he falls out of the clown car. Then you jump on his head, and he returns in his clown car. You’ll have to jump on his head while out of the car 3 times, but watch out. If you take too long, he might return to his clown car.
A theme park/circus theme. You can sit on rides, and possess lions or yoshis or something, to jump through rings in time to get a moon in the circus itself. The final boss could be a magician dinosaur who rolls dices, and depending on what he gets, he has to face different sections, and when it’s over, you go back to the boss himself. You possess his dice and fling yourself on his face.
A rocky mountain would be great. You can enter caves, and possess spike tops, as well as some other enemies. I would love to see the koopalings return in this game, so morton koopa would be a good option.
Bob-omb battlefield. You can capture bob-ombs here too, and the chain chomp blocking the cage. The boss would be king bob-omb. This would be a really cool throwback to super mario 64.
I would love to be able to capture a koopa troopa in some way. No, not the koopa troopa racers from odyssey 1. I want to spin around in a shell destroying brick blocks.
I would like to be able to capture magikoopa like you said. It would be cool to fly around and turning enemies like goombas into coins, and brick blocks into koopa troopas for example.
I would for some reason, want to capture princess peach. You can jump and Take your dress up, so you go flying. This would be fun.

The idea of FLUDD sounds really cool, but don't forget about the bubble cannons from Galaxy, it would be neat to be able to shoot bubbles for in case you need to move someone or something in otherwise unreachable locations
I disagree with the point about limiting moons. I think going back and revisiting old kingdoms to get more moons is really great. If you could just get all of them from tje start, that would be
1. Overwhelming. Many would just get as many moons as they need to move on, skipping almost every bossfight in the game and just finish the game in no time.
2. There would be no reason to revisit old kingdoms. If you beat the game, that's it, there is nothing left for people that really wanna do more. I really hate games that do this, except for really linear and/or storytelling games. It just makes the player sad and leaves them with nothing when they want more.

I want the ruined and cloud kingdoms to be expanded upon. the brochure said that the cloud kingdom was home to a lost ancient civilisation that is never explained or mentioned ever again and had beta artwork that showed it being much bigger originally while the ruined kingdom was really the only ghost themed kingdom in the game and had the potential to be one of the best, having you explore creepy castles filled with ghost enemies. I want to see them return in their full state in the next game.

For the train kingdom, I think what you could do is make the entire kingdom itself seem like a hub world with multiple other locations within that kingdom, and maybe you can take the train to other locations throughout the kingdom to reach your desired destination.

I predict a wild west kingdom, you could mix this with that train kingdom level idea but the train goes around the kingdom and maybe you can find moons on the train? That would be a cool theme.
Also maybe a lava kingdom? (Bowser kingdom doesn't count don't @ me).

Some ideas I have-
FreezySweet Kingdom: takes Snow Kingdom and makes it dessert themed with a giant chocolate bar, licorice, and some pieces of cake
Intergalactic Kingdom: based on Rosalina's Comet Observatory and the main way of getting to the moon instead of the odyssey
Throwback Kingdom: can only be accessed by getting the 800 moons that would be obtainable to that point and once you get them a door would appear inside Peach's Castle that would teleport you to the kingdom that would look like Mario 64's basement area and have portals to Bob-omb Battlefield, Mario 3d World's 1st world, and Isle Delfino.
I’d love to see a “playground” mode with 4 players with a bunch of challenges and mini games around the kingdoms. Everyone would play as Mario, Luigi, Wario and Waluigi. Each of the players would each have their own Odysseys too.

I would do a lake kingdom mixed with a grass kingdom. It could also has a snow kingdom in it to. The main part is a "winter to spring" idea. During winter, you could capture ice skates to skate around. During spring, You can find some Cheep Cheeps to capture to go underwater (there isn't that much underwater)
I actually have some ideas for new enemies that you can capture.
1.) Monty Mole. Maybe you are really fast,but are really bad at changing directions. Maybe you can even dig through dirt.
2.) Bob-Ombs. Maybe you can capture it and enemies will ignore you. And maybe you have a timer to explode and you can manually explode yourself.
3.) Shy Guys. Not really sure what you can have with this guy.
Here are some cool missions I wish get in an SMO2.
1.) A Stroll Down Memory Lane. Maybe you go somewhere that Mario went to in past games. I don't know where,maybe,Super Bell Hill?
2.) Lunar Shenanigans. What if you are on the Moon,you find a boss who is ruining it,and fight him? Maybe it can even be all the Broodals at the same time,and they are much harder? And maybe some of the Moon gets wrecked in the process.
And here is a cool thing that can be imlemented. 2D sections that are in a style other than SMB1. Maybe you can play 2D sections that are in the SMB3 style,or maybe even SMW. And they have different mechanics. And what if at other times,you can play as Luigi or Toad or others. Maybe Luigi jumps higher,and at some times,you are in some kind of Ghost House and you have the Poltergust thing like in Luigi's Mansion. Maybe Toad is the Builder kind,and you have the hammers and can make boxes,like with the Builder Hammer from SMM2.
Another thing that’s overlooked about the controls:
To do an advanced momentum trick called a cappy roll jump off of a short platform, you REQUIRE joycons as for whatever reason they are the only controllers that allow you to throw cappy downwards while in midair. Really annoying for us pro con users.
Also agree that shaking to roll faster is annoying and spin-throws are obnoxious as f**k when fast capturing in koopa freerunning, but some of the motion controls I like, such as aiming in first person or in a tank, and homing cap throws or any capture that can execute a move with one quick flick (such as a frog high-jump).
Motion controls should be an option to toggle in the menu. In a perfect world you could go into advance setting and map individual moves to buttons or preset gestures.
