Thanks for the review. I like the VIP caravan range. One minor point for your video is the Coachman entry level caravan is the Acadia not the ARCADIA. Sorry for being pedantic.
Hi Andy, the Vip is a much nicer van than the Arcadia in my opinion. I like the soft close lockers and washroom designs but you would expect to have underneath access in the lounge area for that price van. I would say there's a fair bit of bling to attract the buyers but the price for me is rather expensive to say the least. Vans manufactured in that price range won't be attracting new people to buy into caravaning as you're getting near the price of a good used Static in a holiday park. Nice to get a look inside, enjoyed the review.
Thanks Kevin - no its not s newbie caravan but there will be those around that will be able to buy one. It sits higher now in feel than the Arcadia and that rear end washroom is spacious - thanks as always for comments
My current van is a Çoachman VIP 520 2019, as you say very little difference between the new model. Guess its a case of if it's not broke don't try to fix it. Side dinette is used regularly. I've notified on other van makes that the edging around fittings tend to become unstuck not so with the Coachman. You generally get what you pay for, quality costs
Hi - yes the changes ra eslight - but I think what a maker needs to be careful of is getting to left behind and not update on a more prolific upgrade - but nice sturdy tourers have just evaluated a used 2009 Pastiche for Practical Caravan in my used pages a cracking van for less than £7k - thanks for your comment and watching the video.
Thanks, Andy. Like those v.i.ps, I will have to keep saving as with everything despite levelling off, prices are still a lot higher than 3-4 years ago, talking of Baileys` my friend has the Paegent Pageant Bordeaux 2006, Re-sealed the front windows and has been great since March often stay in it through the Summer .
Pageants were great vans lots of kit for the cash - and if looked after should last fro a few more years - yes prices gone high since 3-4 years ago its gone mad - thanks for comments
It’s a very nice caravan that lacks a few features most competitors include as standard e.g. Omnivent, solar panel, Wi-fi, plus somewhere to store that big sink lid when the sink is in use. I couldn’t find a drawer big enough in the vans I looked at. Based on last years pricing, I would like to see Heki roof lights as seen on laser. The roof light in the bathroom is like the one on my 1986 Sprite - also used in the Lusso! I would like to see LED lighting for the rear lights too on an upmarket van, similar to the ones Kabe use on their Swedish vans. Undoubtedly, this would put up the price. Thanks for the review Andy 👍
Yes I would like to see the larger Heki vents as fitted in my Ranger - I also think Coachman should be using GRP sides to - thanks for the input and watching
Coachman have the best implementation of the internal front locker (chest of drawers) of any manufacturer. The quality also looks good and this layout is one my preferred. Nevertheless, the internal design (decor) of both the 2024 and 2025 (especially the '25) doesn't feel VIP to me. A bit too much of a mismatch of colours and looks a bit like a good 3 star hotel desperately trying to be a 4 star hotel. It isn't working - at least not for me. I'd much prefer to see a more modern and sleek look rather than the fuddy-duddy style they have for 2025. That's my opinion of course and I would be interested to see what others think.
I think the interiors are fine myself personally but good to hear what your views are - I think they still look good and solid - thank you for watching amd commenting to
Ah Cheltenham would have had to move with times and most lilely part of the demise of the brand. They would be now mass produced like the modern Buccaneers but interesting idea
Sorry, I don't agree with you, We have a 2020 520 VIP and can honestly say the newer models are far from improved. The main door looks cheap, and the prices are well over the top. After looking at the models on offer we will not be looking anytime soon.
Hi - thanks for your opinion and thats fine, I am sure some bits have been cheapened in order to keep price down - but cost cutting is right across the board down to even confectionary where bars have gone smaller and the taste altered - its thww world we live in but if your happy with your 520 thats thw main thing and prices have risen mainly down to the unstable world we live in sadly.
It's not a rip off price. Think about it. If someone is prepared to pay what a seller asks then it's not a rip off. Remember ! No one HAS to buy a caravan you CHOOSE to pay this price.

Ah just the way I say it always say that - yes entry level but Coachman dont call it that - cheers

Top Value top quantity but also top price. Like to think how a Cheltenham would have been if still going.
