Not sure if anyone has noticed but the old lighting was amazing compared to now. There were actually shadows and the maps actually looked like a location, not just an arena for the bots.

Oh my God, the soundtrack from 2:30, man that hangar background music was the best imo. And no, the Gepard didn't look like a toaster, it looked like it had character. Every single one of those bots had character and their own lore. Now they're just hollow. Death walking on metal legs

There was a skirmish mode after Schutze was removed from the store, we got to play as a Schutze with a Titan weapon.

I remember saving up for a fujin with the old workshop, and then putting three orkans on it that I had grinded for. I preferred the game before components tbh. The old workshop was much better. If you could get stuff like phantom and inquisitor with workshop points, it would be much less pay to win.

You could spend same points tp the different robots unlike new workshop system. Now you need to make parts much more and only for one robot or gun. I miss old workshop. I miss old guns and robots. I hate new robots that can dash, phaseshift, fly infinity time. But we will have to admit it, this is the end of war robots. They will bankrupt soon Im pretty sure.

I remember the Kumiho, Haechi, Bulgasary being the first Pay to Win robots. The Raijin, Lancelot, and Furry being pretty OP robots, the Gepard, Rogatka, and Stalker being the most powerful robots with size proportion
The first 3 dash weren't too pay2win or op. They were balanced. Just that new robots tend to be pay2win.

Wow... Extremely nostalgic! I was there when they first released the raijin! You could see the robot before it was released in a particular map! I don't know the name but I know the map! And I also remember the name that spectre had before it was named spectre! Does anyone remember? It was The Exorcist! I also remember seeing the dash bots and thinking Oh my god ! These robots are OP!

Now I have a Lancelot and it dies after taking four shots from a shotgun Leech. And the thing is, my Lancelot's shield capacity is 350,000
the name of the hidden four-legged robot that could be seen in the springfield map was the fujin.
There was also another 4 legged bot idea that was scrapped call bastion which is where raijin got his ability name from
Wonder why they cant give us an old version like this, or even a year ago when inquisitor & mercury were the "deadliest" bots -2 upload as a "seperate" WR.....wonder what people would be willing 2 pay far an old version😮
Pixonic should either do that or give old players their own limited edition old bots. The toaster Boa and Gepard, the old Leo, perhaps a dash pack that is all damaged, rusted and decrepit. It would have no affect on the meta and it would make old players happy.
@@hughmungus7015 i while back they did a skirmish type battle that cost 100 gold to attend and was only miscellaneous old bots, it was bad ass i spent mad gold because it was way fun again there was nothing stronger than a mercury on the battlefield

Yeah it had 2 lights 1 medium and 1 heavy, and walked like 13 kmh due 2 weight issues, was replaced by the damn no 2 crappy golem which got removed 2

Dude the maps look better 5 years ago than they do now!
They used high graphics, physics, on the maps and robots on pc but it was to powerful for it so it couldn’t handle the game so they just removed it
It's also because the maps are so damn cluttered with obstacles so you don't get insta killed by the new long range super weapons.
this was the game I fell in love with, back in the days when carnage thunder and pinata patton where freaking insane. After the dash bots came in, this game became rubbish

I liked the Phantom and Behemoth Trailer where they teased the Leech. It does a good job in incorporating the Lore and current game. Also, what about Robot Stories #1 where the Cossack trains hard ?
