The shopping cart represents the cage from perception. That’s why he sits in it a lot. The balloons are his burdens he carrys with him everywhere he goes. The end is the idea of trying to let go of some of his burdens but it’s scary to let go of the only thing you’ve ever really known
yes exactly. the whole abandoned amusement park is filled with people who are letting go of a piece of their burdens. you see some people wiping off the smiles. people who threw off the black clothes, people lined up to let go of their burdens, people who have successfully gotten rid of all and people who are still weighed down by it. it was such incredible symbolism
“NF will change your life.” The most brutally honest thing ever said. NF is an artist that comes into your life when you need him and he takes you through the journey of life showing you the way to be more than your mental health. True hero.
I always watch people react to the NF journey because there is so much going on with the video and the lyrics it's super easy to miss certain scenes or lyrics and I really appreciate the breakdowns 😭❤️👍🏽👍🏽
Reading comments on "Leave Me Alone" reactions opens up a lot of various concepts on what everything in the video means. The video is so well done that everything is open to interpretation as ART is meant to be. Nate is truly an artist. To me, the idea of Society being a Theme Park rings home. Nothing makes sense and everyone is crazy. The attractions are the things you do to help normalize yourself and make you a part of society. So one will help wipe off your fake smile, the other will help you drop your "black clothing depression" into "white clothing conformity." The people crowd to those who are different than them and try to push them into the direction to make them the same. This really rings home in the "hate to be different, but hate to be normal." He's constantly looking around confused about why he is so different than everyone else, but he doesn't want to take part in the things that would make him the same. Thus he becomes outcast.
Yo this is an amazing view on the video. Literally took my thoughts and put them into coherent words that I couldn't think of. I became aware of NF right after the hype of Perception died down, around the times of the 'Gods Plan' hype, so I was heavily ridiculed for my newfound love of NF music. But we NF fans don't give a fuck do we? Hell nah. We don't. I would like to add onto this interpretation with my own thoughts on the world NF has created, and more specifically what this song adds to it. I felt as though in the Search, we see what NF perceives the world to be. And more specifically his worldview inside of his head. Like you said, the people in white clothes are those who conform to the everyday life styles and morals of modern society, and the black clothes people are those who do not, whether it be by being mentally ill and seeing life differently or just not believing in the social norms of the 21st century. In Leave Me Alone, we see a sort of conversion camp, where the white clothed people are finishing their acceptance into the masses and the black clothed people who want to conform are trying to change. But obviously we have Nate who is different. He isn't in line with everyone else, he is the outlier, or as we know him, the Outcast. I'm not sure what his cart represents, where it's his body and the balloons are the burdens in which he drags along, or it's the cage he feels he is stuck in, but it is pretty well known that his balloons indicate his burdens. I believe at the end he is going through some inner conflict about letting those two 'burdens' go. We don't see whether he actually hands them away, but I'd like to believe that maybe Nate came to terms with some stuff in his duration at the hospital and those are the metaphorical burdens he was able to let go or move past them. {Side note: if you are mentally ill i.e. depressed, anxious, etc. I know being in a mental hospital or a hospital in general may seem scary, but most of the time the people are trying to help. I've been charged with a 5150 before (a mandatory 72 hour hold so they can determine whether you are mentally safe enough to be in the general public and not a danger to other members of society) and was in a mental facility for about 4 days. It was scary and with all those built up emotions from my actions that led to it, but in the end, speaking with the other patients and finding the right meds I needed to help me get back on track saved my life. I hope you take this into consideration if you are having a rough time, that there are people out there who love and care. I know it hurts, you are scared, or feel like a burden. I won't lie, it usually doesn't go away, but you do learn to manage it. There will be bad days, but it is okay to have bad days, as long as you don't allow those days to hinder your progress. If you really want to do something about it that, in all honesty, most likely won't work, think about your loved ones first. Just do it, think how they will feel. I know everyone says that, but take it from me, the looks on their faces when they find you, it's worse than anything you feel. Just think and say something. It will get better. Sorry for the rant.}
@@nivrag00hah, love your take on NF, I believe he mentions that he still is under control of Fear in “Leave Me Alone” hence the fact he said his own name when people debated if their underrated. That fake smile he couldn’t smear off may have been Fear’s doing. Idk, and I appreciate the little pep talk at the end.
I love this music video so much. Just to start, all the extra people are not actors. He posted on social media asking for fans to “apply” and then his team did like a raffle thingy for it. So all the people in this video other than Nathan are fans 🥰 I’ve heard so many cool stories about the whole experience. The video was also shot in an abandoned amusement park. This song is one of my favorite NF songs and I’m so happy to see you guys love it as much as I do. I can’t wait for you guys to get to Trust feat Tech 9
You can see the difference between perception and the search how much better he got. Also fun fact all these people in the music video are his fans. Also, no name refers to fame calling and he hung up and called him back with the title song leave me alone, which is why fame said it sucked
No Name: "Fame called me, I'm like, "How you doin'?" Hung up on him, l ain't ready for it I'll get back to that when I make album four" Album four: Remember back in "NO NAME, " I said fame called? Told you I hung up, it kinda felt wrong" It freaks me out NF's level of lyricism. So gifted. Great reaction. 🤍
I absolutely love NF's entire catalogue from Mansion to Clouds (save for maybe 1 or 2 songs), but you guys are creeping up on 3 of my absolute favorites: "Change" (up next!!), "Nate", & "I Miss the Days" ("Only" isn't too far behind these either... The Search album is pretty much 🔥 🔥 🔥 from start to finish!)
I am literally obsessed with you guys these days. I watched A LOT of your reactions to NF songs yesterday for hours and now the marathon starts again HEHEHE
We consider Why, The Search and Leave Me Alone as "the trilogy". The cage was in the background of The Search, so the shopping cart is his mind again...more portable as he is out looking for answers. That's just my opinion. The whole song is him telling his doubts/burdens to leave him alone. Plus he's explaining the OCD diagnosis to fans. So much in this song! #NF 😎
You guys are dope! The funny part is at the end when Nate gave the other balloon and it stopped! " Seriously! I have to wait until next week?!" Is literally like watching tv shows and you have to wait for the next one!! 😭😭🤣🤣🤣🤣 That's watching NF vibe look like all the time. 👏👏 Keep it going guys! 🙏
My opinon: the shopping cart is representing the cage and his mind, balloons are all of his burdens, in this album he is learning to step outside of the cage ( open the door) and he is on a journey to try and find himself and during the journey get rid of all his burdens, which turns out to be alot hard task, and he drags around the cage and keeps it close to him so when he starts feeling anxious, scared , or fear takes over, he can climb back into it , his safe space
By far my FAVORITE reaction from you guys….. your facial expressions were the best…..I can’t wait for you guys to get to Clouds (the mixtape) it just gets better and better 🥰
My favorite part of y’all’s reactions now is the little noises you both make. The surprised Ohs and Ahs. This is one of my favorite videos. So many bars that speak to me and my mental issues. You feel this one. Real Music!!!
Yes, whenever a phone rings, it is Fame, aka Satan. Satan = temptation. Ref: Intro II “….Satan keeps calling, he’s trying to flirt. I hang up the phone, these are more than just words.” This specific storyline plays out further on the Clouds Mixtape, with the song Trust. NF shares how he keeps Satan at bay, by starving his own ego. 😉
K done! I KNEW YOU GUYS WOULD LOSE IT OVER THIS! I still get chills multiple times watching and listening to this! A major note behind this album is that previous to releasing this, Nate had been in a mental hospital and had battled with suicidal thoughts very heavily. The entire album is sort of his dark and deep journey through all of that. Some were even written in the hospital (The song Nate being one of them). I feel like this video was sort of his take on his journey in the hospital and how they were telling him to let go of burdens and all the therapy. I think at the end that might be his therapist possibly, and he was letting two go through the therapy but ultimately he still has so many.
I hadn’t thought of it this way before and I love this perspective. As well, I didn’t know he went to a mental hospital, good for him. One thing I noticed as I was listening to his music, been listening since the first EP, his music forced me to look inside myself and confront all the trauma I had as a child. It was a rough journey, the more I listened to him the worse my mental health became because it forced me to confront everything. I didn’t handle any of it in a healthy way for years, just shoved it down deeper and became suicidal because of it. I finally went to therapy back in 2020. Now when I listen to NF I feel empowered by the struggle I overcame when confronting my past. Best decision I ever made.
I've been watching you guys take this journey from the beginning, and I've been so excited for you guys to get to this song. I think it's one of NF's best
I ALMOST liked this reaction as much as the song itself!!! Y'all... Friday morning entertainment! I was dragging through, sipping on coffee and now I am SO energized!! This was amazing and y'all had us laughing with your facial expressions and reactions. If OPTIONS is not on the list you have, PLEASE add it. It is very important to the journey! Can't wait for the next one!! Also, congrats on the 20K!!!
Looking for words to express this song...looking...looking...looking...i can't find them. It's to marvelous to explain. I'm so happy to be privileged to ear NF music. It's a true gift for us. Thanks Kyle and Eric to this another awesome reaction. NF surely is happy with sincere guys like you and to an incredible group of loyal fans. I'm sure are one nowadays😊
You guys consistently make me smile with your reactions, its like re experiencing the journey all over again for the first time. Alot of the NF family have already come through and explained some things but ultimately this music video is a work of art and is open to interpretation and just adds to the mythos that is NF. The entire album is complete fire and I can't wait for your reaction to 'Nate' and 'When I grow up' be warned though, Nate is heavy. Its not as hard to get through as 'How could you leave us' but its definitely emotional.
Love the videos and glad Kayy got you on nf pointed him out to you but It’s tragic that ‘only’ and ‘remember this’ were missed of the nf journey please go back to them after you have completed the journey
@rykerroad YYESSSS!!! First thing in the morning when I turn my tv, I immediately go to your channel. Nothing makes my day more than your NF and Falling in Reverse reactions!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!
Have been waiting so long for you guy's to finally get to this song!!! I'm so happy you went through the journey, so many other reaction channels will have this song and video as like thier second or third NF song ever and they get so lost. So I'm very happy you guy's started at the begin and worked your way up. Really hope you guy's don't skip Returns, it's alot like Real but 3 times better (in my opinion) as other people have said this whole album is so SO GOOD!!
His beats are really just so amazing and original, i love that. Before, i really didn't like any rap music but since i first listened to Therapy Session, the first one i've ever heard from him, i knew he was something else. Now he is my number one Artist and i love every song he makes. How i never heard from him before, i don't know, but i am so glad i found him. His music helped me a lot since then and surely still will in the future. Have fun and enjoy the rest of the NF journey, it gets even better the farther you go
Friday made, awesome reaction 😃😁👌🏾. On The Search album he's searching for freedom and that's symbolized by him leaving his cage, the other people changing clothes from black to white, having their fake smiles wiped off, and being in a queue to hand away their burdens. He does hand over two balloons but remains with a bunch other. The hand must be God in my opinion. And yes that phone is Fame still ringing 📞
Been a subscriber since beginning of your journey and have truly enjoyed it. Counting days down though to the Clouds Album. NF did it again...it's off the chart fire! Eric called out NF's "layers" to which he has a song called Layers. Always enjoy the reactions! Great Job!
Woohooo!!!! One of my favorites!!! Goodness I love your reactions, can't wait until next week. Also, many people say the shopping cart is still his cage but it's getting smaller but he can't fully leave it.
I still remember freshman year of High School when I first heard this song. I practically listened to it nonstop that entire year to the point where I think of freshman year when I hear the song
I think the beauty of NF videos is that he leaves a lot up to interpretation, if it works for you, then that's what it means. It could mean one thing to one person and another to someone else and yet they're both correct.
Been listening to NF for years and watched many reactors. Eric is the first I've seen pick up on the song title, Leave Me Alone, and fame line. That never occurred to me, 🔥. So many layers, its incredible.
Yesssss finally! Been waiting for this reaction top 5 NF song for me. Was really hoping you would get the no name reference about fame and "I sent him this song" bar. Can't wait for you to do layers probably my top NF song the cadence switches is something I've never heard of before... Only other artist that does that is Tech N9ne. The reaction with that collab is gonna be a banger too. Look forward to the rest of this journey you'll definitely enjoy the rest.
Fairly new to your channel. Love the reactions! Huge NF fan here. You guys are really entertaining and in your reactions and I appreciate. Back when he did the song No Name, he said that a fan called and he wasn't ready for the fame and attention at the time. As you mentioned in other videos he really loves his fans, but he is sort of a loner and doesn't like all the limelight. He said he will get back to it by album four in the song No Name. This is what he considers album four and this is the song. All the connections that he makes it in his songs with past songs is really incredible. He's truly a lyrical genius! Keep up the great work, very entertaining. As for now, I have some videos to catch up on... 😉
This one was filmed in the abandoned six flags new Orleans. All the people are fans. There was a call out for fans in the area to be in the video. I wish I could have been!
So many readings, helping people leave their burdens, him leaving his burdens, says to fame to leave him alone and then gets pissed, layers, layers, he got Layers
Let's go🤣my notifications are on and l was excited when it popped up. I'm watching this at 15:02...probably gonna enjoy the video as usual. Keep up the work my dudes, much love ❤
Something else that I've noticed from this video is the color of his shirt. All the other black shirts look newer. His is a dull black, which I think was done to show that he has had these problems longer than other people. Just a small detail that I thought was cool
A cool concept art perspective for him right now would be to give everyone at the shows a black balloon and tell them to let it go when they feel the need to no longer hold on to their negative constraints. Js
I love your guys reactions. This is one of my favorite songs by NF especially the video portion of it. But the cart represents the cage from perception on wheels. The best songs are yet to come so enjoy guys!!
Yesssss!!! Love this song!! The meaning of the video is often debated, some people believe the people in white are getting over their " burdens" and it's a good thing and want NF to out on the white clothes while others believe the people in white are just masking their burdens to fit in with society and NF sticks out like a sore thumb because he doesn't not mask anything no matter how unpopular that can make him. You decide what you see depicted in NF's art. Now please keep in mind while you check out the rest of this album that NF had the idea to bring someone inspirational and positive in this album, but he was going to one of his worst cases of depression while writing and doing this album. But keep in mind " Clouds the mixtape is a polar opposite. Don't worry not giving anything away
That black scene in the beginning of verse 3...is people that died with their burdens or rather got old with it.. That rickety cart with the old man explains it... Then when the song was building.. He has to go back to daylight again to try and get things right on time...... NF is a extraordinary
The gasp/AWH!/sigh of satisfaction says it all. You hear some line, and you're just like "yo, there's so much to unpack there". Is it literal, is it a metaphor, is it a diss, a challenge, a warning?
And I’ve seen Ronnie react to many many reactors and you are the only ones he’s praised like that! And he listened to your banter afterwards….you are on your way guys….TV show….you need a tv show! ❤️🔥👏🤞
NF don't even need a movie about him, just play his whole music journey in chronological order, enough said.
I agree he's really changed my life and truly saved me from myself ❤
The shopping cart represents the cage from perception. That’s why he sits in it a lot. The balloons are his burdens he carrys with him everywhere he goes. The end is the idea of trying to let go of some of his burdens but it’s scary to let go of the only thing you’ve ever really known

and that cage and that cart are representations of his mind or his mansion
Great explanation.
Nice
Spot on answer 🖤

Wouldn’t say ever … but very profound yes
I know he changed my life.
He's changed my life I know that for sure!
Kyle's face throughout 90% of the video is just golden
YESSS 🤣❤️
His reactions make me feel like I was right to be as pumped as I am haha I watch them all the time cuz they just get it man
I always watch people react to the NF journey because there is so much going on with the video and the lyrics it's super easy to miss certain scenes or lyrics and I really appreciate the breakdowns 😭❤️👍🏽👍🏽
Also, love how Kyle’s reaction is basically 13 minutes of straight jaw-drop lol
it makes it an only Eric reaction 🤣 Kyle won’t say anything 😂
😂😂 dude , imagine because I'm watching this for the 4th time . I'm in my feelings rn so decided to watch all their NF reactions .

He gets leaps and bounds better on The search from perception.
Same can be said for the Mixtape. He’s gets better on Clouds compared to the search
No Name:
"Fame called me, I'm like, "How you doin'?" Hung up on him, l ain't ready for it
I'll get back to that when I make album four"
Album four:
Remember back in "NO NAME, " I said fame called?

It freaks me out NF's level of lyricism. So gifted.
Great reaction. 🤍

"Oh making me feel things!" Had me in fits lol..this song is such a vibe..as usual u 2 were awesome ❤❤
One song on the search that does not have a video but references the journey is his song "Nate". Love these reactions!
That's WHY NF is unlike any other artist I've ever seen or heard of he just keeps getting better and every single time your life changes

I love that y’all are getting into NF like I did! I couldn’t get enough and his lyrics and bars continue blow me away!!!!
This is one of my favourite songs from NF! Another great reaction Kyle & Eric! Love you guys! Keep being your awesome selves 🙂
This is the song that got me into NF still one of my faves so amazing.
I've been watching you guys take this journey from the beginning, and I've been so excited for you guys to get to this song. I think it's one of NF's best

You guys have the best reactions! Change is up next! It's my favorite NF song. I can't wait for you to react to Change and Nate!
I like how NF gets better with each album, I can honestly only think of a few artist that keeps constantly evolving in their music.
Love the videos and glad Kayy got you on nf pointed him out to you but
It’s tragic that ‘only’ and ‘remember this’ were missed of the nf journey please go back to them after you have completed the journey
I HAVE WATCHED ALL OF YALLS JOURNEY VIDEOS IN 2 DAYS.
YALL ARE BIG BROTHERS I NEVER HAD. I love ya!!!
I love this comment, thank you coltcaine! So happy you're here 🤗 Welcome to Rykerroad!
@@rykerroadMOM3123 Heck, I just restarted their NF Journey and I’m just as excited to watch it again, Have you watched it mom?
@@ColtnocapI have and I'm loving it 💜 I've learned so much from their content and subscriber requests, it's a wild ride! 😄🤘🍷
Love these reactions you guys!! So genuine, and NF will always be a baller!! Such a vibe with this song!
This is the song that got me to listen to NF. I usually only listen to metal and then I found this.
@rykerroad
YYESSSS!!!
Leave me alone is my #1 song from nf, love to seen you guys react to it!!^^ keep up the great work guys!!
Been a subscriber since beginning of your journey and have truly enjoyed it. Counting days down though to the Clouds Album. NF did it again...it's off the chart fire! Eric called out NF's "layers" to which he has a song called Layers. Always enjoy the reactions! Great Job!
"NF will change your life." FACTS 👏👏👏
You are so close to some absolute gems. Keep going down the journey and you're going to love it more and more
I've been waiting for this one. To see your excitement and to know what lies ahead , I'm here for it !!!!
Honestly guys, I suspect I speak for everyone when I say we would've happy watched a 30 minute reaction to this one. Sooooo much to talk about!
NF is the best kind of medicine 🙌
Hey Jason, welcome to Rykerroad! 😁🤘😎
@@rykerroadMOM3123 Thank you for the kind welcome!
This one was filmed in the abandoned six flags new Orleans. All the people are fans. There was a call out for fans in the area to be in the video. I wish I could have been!
The way eric just said FIRE…FIRE had me dying 😂🤣
So many readings, helping people leave their burdens, him leaving his burdens, says to fame to leave him alone and then gets pissed, layers, layers, he got Layers
Kyle face at 3-30 was hilarious 😂😂
dang you got like 3k more subs just in a couple of days!! so awesome!!
Can't wait for y'all to get to 'Clouds'...Kyle might prolly stand up in awe
NOBODY I’ve seen catches the “I sent him this song” bar!! Top shelf tract boys, well done!!!
If you want a true reaction channel this one is up there with the best.
Much appreciated! Thank you.
4:55 just let yall know he gave yall a hint to “hope” when the “fans” pointed.. so he had this planned all along… little Easter egg yall missed
When Eric pointed out “I sent him this song” meant “I sent him ‘Leave Me Alone’”…first time I ever made that connection. Dope reaction
How one can actually hear and feel him wrestling with Doubt in this song is nothing short of genius.
Watched your whole journey and loved all of it , can't wait for you to get to clouds the mixtape and see his progression and have a bit of fun
Kyle's catatonic expression for 30 seconds straight was priceless. ha ha. (8:30 - 9:00)
“How does he do it every time?”
Perfect description of NF. No other artist consistently delivers and connects like this.
Man watching all of these reactions really makes me miss new NF music and his concerts!
A cool concept art perspective for him right now would be to give everyone at the shows a black balloon and tell them to let it go when they feel the need to no longer hold on to their negative constraints. Js
Guarantee all the balloons would be in the rafters by the end of the show.
Been waiting for this one!!
I love your guys reactions. This is one of my favorite songs by NF especially the video portion of it. But the cart represents the cage from perception on wheels. The best songs are yet to come so enjoy guys!!
One of my favorites
this man helped me through so much, two toxic relationships Nates words helped me more than anything.
It literally looks like some of NF’s lyrics smack Kyle right in the face. Love the journey guys can’t wait for the rest!
That black scene in the beginning of verse 3...is people that died with their burdens or rather got old with it.. That rickety cart with the old man explains it... Then when the song was building.. He has to go back to daylight again to try and get things right on time...... NF is a extraordinary
I love this song because…what it means to you….is what it’s meant to mean. Keep up the good work!!
Omgosh, Yessss!! I've said this for years 😂🤘❤️
Great reaction, yet once again! He. Does. Not. Miss!!! Love your reactions and vibe through this whole journey!!
NF is Legendary.
