I am like obsessed with this song. I found that the meaning is how the internet and internet culture has aged and changed over time. Teto is a representation of a participant of the old internet, her VSynth form being an older version reflection on how the internet and herself have been changed over time. Popular forums to dead links, online friends to ai chat bots, small personal websites to large social media platforms, UTAU to VSynth. Her own voice being assisted by ai too being brought to light in the lines "my fingers multiply by six, my face is melting like a candle" directly referring to ai art. Haruno on the other hand is a much younger voice bank, a person who only knows the modern internet. She embraces the corporate, ai filled version of the internet because it's all she knows to be here. In this song she is a being with no past and only an endless future.
The question of "is this really it" applies to both of them. Teto's question meaning that this is what the internet truly amounted to, and Haruno's being about her introduced to an internet with nothing of value in it.
I am obsessed with this song.
Also to me, Teto’s lyrics at the end feel more…bargaining I guess? Like she’s trying to pray and hope that the state of the internet currently isn’t that bad, while sora seems much more accepting of the current state of the internet (“hopeless praying that we made the choice that’s right” “toss the key and bury me alive” “will we make it out alive?” “there’s nothing left inside!”)

For the memories of a friendship, all proof that it ever existed, to be wiped by something as simple as a "remove friend" button. The digital world is rough to live in.

the internet being so impermanent yet permanent, both in the worst ways possible. art, feelings, and relationships destroyed by sites going down or changing for the worse, while everything you post is forever, out of your hands
YOOO That's REALLY Good! It gives me sort of an opposite vibe to Magical Cure Miku while holding the same theme: Internet. I love it! It could be both an observation of the current state of the internet and also praying in an apocalyptic world where internet is slowly dying out. Also I love what you did to Teto at 2:08 It really is a great critique of Ai turning art and such to a monster by melting everything together like an amalgmate from Undertale. you really used it in a way that makes sense, isn't harmful and shows how dangerous it is. Overall, Really great work to the producers who did it❤
