I thought the story was that Jim (the person you play as in residence massacre) had trauma from surviving the night from the weird creature trying to break in his house while he is home alone, in Jim's computer his trauma comes back and he unalives himself when he hears knocking.

What can I say is Residence Massacre DEFFINETLY took some inspiration from Jim's computer but until we get more pieces of lore, we can't connect them for sure especially with that message from a moderator (also The Weird Strict Dad and it's theory are utter garbage that deserve to be forgotten by humanity.)

It’s not connected. In Jim’s Computer 2, a zombie acting like figure breaks in Jim’s house. Jim uses the gun to hold them out, he also uses the computer to boost his chances of survival, after a while, he will get escorted away from those “figures”.
Theres a new PVP gamemode and one of the skin is like Jim's character which is named "A Familiar face" Which is the new skin if you become the monster, But Jim shot himself. And theres a monster which is in the game whos haunting Jim basically, Or maybe the Monster/Larry can shape-shift which can take people's body.
My theory is that Jims computer is after Residence massacre because I belive that Jim was one of the brothers in Ressidence massacre but he moved away because of what happened that night and then I think the oil rig has nothing to do with mutants or monsters and people in Jims computer are going missing because of Larry and others like him and Jim he was possibly traumatized by seeing his cooworker dead and trying to kill him which lead to him killing himself because of the trauma and the knocking was probably him imaginating stuff because of the trauma kind of like in fnaf lore where Michael was traumatized by killing crying child and he heard him and stuff related to him all the time.
i just wanna say that it would be a fun idea that after Jim's attepmt of sewer slide, his insanity is what keep him alive although being "half dead". also, it would explain the tears in Larry's boddy, as Jim succumbs to his undead form, he cuts his body and arms in that insanity. We can see that in the RM radio it is an EMERGANCY BROADCAST ((littraly says it in the game when the radio is talkin) while on jims computer it is just in the news app. I think that in Jims computer and RM anomalys are different as in the halloween event the spirit helper badge has a different anomaly (and i know that because clearly larry's arms are not there but the one in the badge has arms), so maybe Jim had a different anomaly? My theory revolves around technology, using the tech at the time, Jim’s first computer was, well, his first computer because they were only recently made public, So around the late 2000’s While in residence massacre there’s lots of tech, cameras, radios, and just regular TV’s and PC’s. So likely the mid 2010’s Which means residence massacre was years after Jim’s computer, where it’s likely the mayor was forced to publicly come out about the creatures after the incident.

Theres a new PVP gamemode and one of the skin is like Jim's character which is named "A Familiar face" Which is the new skin if you become the monster, But Jim shot himself. My theory is that Jims computer is after Residence massacre because I belive that Jim was one of the brothers in Ressidence massacre but he moved away because of what happened that night and then I think the oil rig has nothing to do with mutants or monsters and people in Jims computer are going missing because of Larry and others like him and Jim he was possibly traumatized by seeing his cooworker dead and trying to kill him which lead to him killing himself because of the trauma and the knocking was probably him imaginating stuff because of the trauma kind of like in fnaf lore where Michael was traumatized by killing crying child and he heard him and stuff related to him all the time.

Yea but, I think RM day 1 is the exact same timeline of day 5 in jims computer. We can see that in the RM radio it is an EMERGANCY BROADCAST ((littraly says it in the game when the radio is talkin) while on jims computer it is just in the news app. I think that in Jims computer and RM anomalys are different as in the halloween event the spirit helper badge has a different anomaly (and i know that because clearly larry's arms are not there but the one in the badge has arms), so maybe Jim had a different anomaly? I mean, something was opening the front door of his house for sure if the goverment made a shelter in place warning...

I feel like there is a downside of making wild theories. It not only stresses the game creators by over analysing the story despite being, just that, a game. But I'm not saying that you're wrong for making this video. People have right to make theories but I also think it's important to consider how much sense the theory makes.
