Something could be learned with captions or a commentary.
Like the names of the materials used and why.
It looks like Russian firebrick (cause Pakistan doesn't make it?) for the bedding it looks like clay (many kinds and colors. They are using a refractory cement (maybe with a little silica sand) as mortar. (They are many types of refractory cement powder.) They are using a steel pipe (large diameter) to cast the firebricks in a concrete (made of refractory cement, sand, and clay... or maybe just the cement and clay.) The burner is probably using propane (could be natural gas) and an electric blower to give a forced air feed) Its just a cast steel (or iron) pipe, with a Y adapter. There is another pipe inside to deliver the propane through a proper sized orifice. It looks like they are melting cast aluminum. While it all looks impressive... it's not...its inefficient, wasteful, and produces low quality aluminum alloy ingots.

And I agree - won't be efficient at all.

Péssimo é ver operários pés de chinelo trabalhando sem EPIs para baratear custos e levar vantagens com os concorrentes que obedecem legislação de segurança do trabalho.
Não vi nada de lindo nisto.
Uso botas de segurança até fora do trabalho. Em caminhadas na trilha, não escorrega, deixa o pé seco e quentinho e não arranca unha do dedão quando tropica.

These are called furnance bricks. Made up of some clay and chamicals
They are firebrick, or refractory bricks... basically made from firing Alumia (aluminum oxide) containing mineral clays... or for better quality, manufactured from cement, silica sand, and alumina, plus other minerals. There are many different kinds, grades and colors... cost depends mostly on the temperature the brick will tollerate.

Open toed sandals...to hold the brick still while grinding with a high speed grinder without a guard....what could possibly go wrong? I will say that the guy making the furnace is quite good at what he does. Good craftsmanship. All of that work for those two little discs? I hope they get more than one use out of that nice furnace he made.

What gas do you use?
natural gas (methane), propane, or butane. Could be diesel, kerosene, or fuel oil... but liquid fuels require a compressor to feed them.
