I bought one out of impulse, tried it at a music shop and once I heard it , there was no doubt this pedal is amazing
This pedal is seriously one for the ages in my opinion! So much power and beef in one stompbox, and I've always wanted this type of fuzz in my arsenal. Glad you picked one up yourself, and thank you for checking out the video!
This was a very comprehensive demo, really enjoyed it!
Thank you so much, I'm glad you liked the review! Just wanted to explore it's overall tones and sounds, it's such a great pedal
Most of us can only play power chords 😂 I may have a couple of riffs and runs in me but this is much more how I typically play a new pedal.
I'm glad that my video is an accurate display of testing out a new pedal and getting what sounds come out of it. That's all I wanted for this, in both an isolated setting and a mix setting. Thank you for your comment!
Hi I'm Snake. That was a cool song at the end. Just needed a singer.
I'm really curious about this pedal. I have every circuit muff except triangle. Should I get it? Would you consider this pedal a modern take on triangle muff? Thanks
Thank you for the kind words! I wanted to demonstrate how the pedal sounded overall in the context of a recording or band situation, but I'm glad you enjoyed the composition as well! This pedal I would say is a unique take on the triangle muff. I would say it's modern in the sense that it has more grit to it than a normal triangle, but overall you can't go wrong either way. If you're about the aggression in your fuzz tone that can also be sludgy and brooding, this thing packs a serious punch. Thank you for your comment!
Loved your demo. It gives us all an idea of the tones you can get. Most other reviews are a waste of time. All one gets to know is how fast or clever some guy can play. I front a Metal trio, I was the former guitarist for the Brit Prog Rock band Tallis. Lets just say I can 'play' ..I can use speed articulacy, applying theory and use it in any manner of harmonic or rhythmic complexity. But tone is a whole different thing one needs to hear presented in a measured way. So thanx again for your demo :-)
Thank you so much! I wanted to give the most comprehensive review of the pedal as I could without a lot of frills or anything like that and accurately reflect the tones you could get. Your comment is appreciated, especially given your background in music!
This or the hoof ?
I think that depends on the sound you're going for. The Hoof cleans up a lot easier and can be a more diverse pedal that can be used for a lot of styles and musical soundscapes. The Hizumitas is a very definite sound, but it does it with so much power that it can't be overlooked no matter how hard you try. Both have their functions, but I did buy the Hizumitas because I sought out that specific punch and sludge to my fuzz tone. Hope this helps and thank you for the comment!
@@cynusmusic I’m the opposite. I picked the Hoof because it’s such a unique sounding fuzz, most fuzz lovers seem to hate or at least not care for. It’s so soft but it has these rich overtones I love. No matter what I throw at it, nothing has taken its place on my board. So here I am looking for different ones. 😂 Interested in this and the BAT Pharaoh
@@JDMI- Yeah the Hoof is an incredible pedal that can be used in so many applications, so I totally get that. But adding more distortion/fuzz/overdrive pedals to your board for flavoring is always appreciated imo lol. Glad you checked out the video!
Hahaha, the finger wiggles!
They be wigglin' from excitement of the beefy tone this pedal brings!
