just done this but the opposite way around , fair play to you sir was a heck of a ride. no small feat either , at the moment there is detours which add alot of climbing , i would defo suggest proper route planning to anyone wanting to do this , awesome video
Thanks for the comment. It's a great route. Pleased you completed it. 👍🏻💪🚴🏼
If prizes were given for how much fun you can cram inside 60 hours you'd be a clear winner. You looked like a kid in a sweet shop for most of the ride. And why wouldn't you be? What an amazing ride and beautiful part of the country. The history and geography of the area were covered really well and I honestly think this is the best video you've done. Nice one. On a side note, I will be riding Lands End to John O'Groats with a friend in May and will be riding in this area so it was of particular interest. If you want to join us for any part of the LEJOG ride you'd be very welcome.
Thanks very much JP. That's a great compliment. The ride was fabulous but the editing takes me ages!
I would love to meet up. My email is on the channel homepage, so drop me a line when you have dates and details. That's something I would love to do👍🏼🚴🏾♀️🚴🏾♀️
@@divum I'll keep you in the loop.
I hope you enjoyed you time in Scotland.
A fair change from East Anglia I'd say.
I've been enjoying your videos and my boys and I are planning heading to Norfolk from Nort East Scotland to cycle some of rebellion way mixed in with the marriot way this summer as out first shot at bike packing.
Your videos have been a great resource.
Im looking forward to watching more of them.

@DIVUM I might keep picking your brains ...I want to do the way of the roses this year too . Have you done it?
@@stacysmith5760 no I haven't. I'll have to look into that👍🏼
@@divum how long should I allow to do the peddars way?
@@stacysmith5760 about 4 to 5 hours of riding (15-20 kph) plus a bit for a break and site seeing, about 6 hours hours will be ample
We are going to be doing this section next ,fort William to Oban is amazing
Thanks for the comment. I would love to go further, perhaps this summer. 🤞🏻
well done bud! iv subscribed 🙏
Much obliged to you. Thanks for watching !
Great stage 1 Andrew, can’t wait for the rest 👍 I’m def looking at a trip up there one day 👌
You really should! It was brilliant (but summer would perhaps be better!). Thank you for the comment 👍🏼🚴🏾♀️☔
@@divum yes as much as I’d like to do it I think summer is the way to go. I did consider it around now or next couple months but I guess the north can be unpredictable for weather, much like Dartmoor where I am. I’ve got a TransDevon trip pencilled in this year, had a couple sizeable ones last year. 👍
@@Lostlanesandhillclimbs Trans Devon.... Excellent. I'll have to plan that asap!
PS. I was born in Devon!
@@divum oh really, where abouts?
There are tons of options, north to south, or clockwise. We have a 240 mile challenge soon…in 24 hours…charity event for a mate.
I did a Cornish trip last year plus the coast to coast and back. My big trip I’m looking at is Devon to Alp D’Huez. We go most years but this time I want to cycle down! 🥸
Slightly lumpier than our usual routes? 😳
You bet ya life! 👍🏼🚵♀️🗻
