    "Whispering" was composed by John Schonberger with lyrics by Malvin Schonberger. First published by Sherman, Clay & Co in 1920.

      Instrumental versions of popular tunes are quite common from this era, especially with dance orchestras. Outside of a vocal solo, you'd be lucky to find more than just a vocal chorus!

      Don't know! I usually give the pseudonym when I know it. Ted Gilbert was apparently used for a number of different bands on the Operaphone label
