Love can be very cruel. This story provides a perfect example of this. A very broken woman is tormented by her beloved after 5 years of separation. Her beloved was deeply wounded by her apparent abandonment not knowing the truth of the matter. Here you have 2 people who love each other but the past cannot be resolved. When her beloved finally discovers the truth, he's treated her so badly that there's no turning back. He has too many regrets and she has finally let go of her feelings because of his actions. If only he had kept in contact during the competition, if only he had questioned her unexpected inexplicable abandonment, if only...

It was sad. The ex boyfriend wasn't really at fault, nor did he do anything extreme or unforgiveable. The worst he did was say angrily why didn't she die. His brother was the one that lied. He lied about why she broke up and what she was doing for 5 yrs. He had the right to be hurt too. She did't contactvhim during the competition either, except to break up with him and disappear. His brother was greedy and selfish, knowing what happened to her, but didn't want to risk his brother making $$ for him.
My heart broke for the FL, but I also felt kindda bad for Fuzion. Yeah he did a lot of shitty things to her that were irredeemable, after coming back. But he did them out the need for revenge. Because of how she had dismissed him from her life so callously. He didn't know the truth, & therefore acted on the hurt, resentment, & betrayal. But he made too many mistakes. - He left on a competition, & didn't contact her at all. Even if he was super busy, he could've spared her at least 1 min to make sure she was ok. - They had known each other for several years. So when she broke up with him in that "cruel" manner (according to him). He should've known that this was out of character for her, & dug deeper. If he had, he would've realized WHY she pushed him away. - He humiliated her, caged her, & told her to die. These are the unredeemable attacks he made against this poor girl. Even if he was deeply hurt by how she "abandoned him". Did he stop being a human being? How can a person treat a person this horribly. I'm happy that she found her safe & happy home. V v

Who destroyed her life to get over his "little boo-boo" and now that he had gotten over that he enjoys the role of a victim drowning in self-pity "if only i had known...". Nothing would have changed: he did exactly what he wanted to do. Please, don't whitewash his harsment
I can agree with all that reasoning. However the story negates all he did after to make amends with 0 recognition from FL and paid for it in the end in the 2 ultimate ways. That, undid the whole story for me.

I've never thought I was naive until now, but do these people really beat people to death and torture and rape others because of debt? This should not be tolerated! I thought just maybe we could not hate so much. Well, at least now I know these things really do happen. I'm sorry for all the people who have been abused this way. I do realize that there are people who live with depression their whole life but I never understood that the bullying, beating, torturing, and rapes can be caused because of debt. How cruel we humans are! I have been crying over this story because of the brutality. This beautiful young woman did not deserve to have her mother beaten to death and herself to be brutalized in every sense of the word by those people because her worthless father ran off with his mistress. I'm truly disgusted! I do feel bad for ML because of his cancer but not the way he treated her. But he didn't know what had happened to her. I'm glad the FL found someone to love again. Narrator, thank you for enlightening me. And thank you for sharing this story with us.
While I agree, the girl herself should have talked to him instead of outright dumping him while the dude should have simply let her go and moved on; if the girl were to appear and mess with dude's life after dumping then I'd say he has a right to defend himself.
