This song deserved a better campaign to be played to.
Joseph Bfield it was played in halo 4 in the beginning of the epilogue but was left out of the soundtrack unfortunately but good that its out now.

@@skilledwarman Blue team deserved a lot more than what they got in Halo 5. Seeing Fred, Linda and Kelly work with the chief was amazing. Now we just need a Halo game centered around John and his squad throughout the years.

Fred: All the way to the end, brother.
How's THAT for undying loyalty? They may be the four last SPARTAN-IIs remaining. But John, Linda, Kelly, and Fred will ALWAYS stick together. Hopefully those who have friends like that will consider them their greatest treasure. And those who don't, I hope you find friends like that and keep them close. Sometimes it's the only thing that keeps you sane in a crazy world like this.

But oh my god...Osts like this one, The Trials and Light is Green...Just blew my mind if only the story could of been just as good.
Tony Redgrave It is sad that such a great soundtrack was somewhat wasted with a garbage story. That’s why I love Kazuma as a composer. He made you kinda feel moments in this story that you probably shouldn’t have because of his music.

This is a beautiful song, absolutely blew my mind when I first sat down and listened to it out of game, actually it made me a little teary eyed. Halo 5 may not be the best game in the series but hot damn, the music is phenominal.

I love it so much, it's like a tragic take on 117 from Halo 4's soundtrack, and when it turns the heroic suite of Master Chief himself blaring through the end of the song it's just such a perfect mix of emotion and badassery

There are some good quotes in this game IMO.
I think the interactions with Cortana and Chief are well worth quoting. The whole Cortana and Chief parts of the game were the best parts in the game overall.
Ok here comes a rant that no one asked for: there were a lot of great scenes worth quoting in the game! I'll grant that halo 3 had a lot more memorable lines, but obv u should never compare the other games to the 3rd. It was a masterpiece, and can never be repeated, but also, it was a lot more theatrical.
I don't mean it in a bad way, but halo 3 felt a lore more concerned with ''showmanship''. making scenes look cool and emotional for the sake of being memorable, whereas halo 4 and 5 have fewer scenes like that, but they're all the more organic for it.
Like, i could probably quote the entire dialogue in halo 3........and, not just....cuz i played it like a million times...but simply bc the dialogue is made to be catchy and memorable, and a little shallow bc of it
but the dialogue in halo 4 and 5? Try me, i'll remember bits and pieces, but never the whole thing.
I do remember these gems, though: Masterchief saying ''hell'', arbiter sending his regards to the chief, literally every dialogue regarding Halsey and her crimes, that part where all the AIs pledge their loyalty to Cortana, etccc I'm gonna stop here bc seriously, no one asked for this. I just hope I was able to persuade you a lil'
vikihalliwell well I'd have to disagree with you on calling Halo 3 a masterpiece. While it was a really damn good game I don't believe it's quite as good as Halo 2 was. I feel like Halo 2 had far more variety than Halo 3 did mission wise. I dunno maybe it's just me.

Such a powerful theme, especially since during the series we thought John 117 was the only surviving Spartan, and all his family of Spartan II's he grew up with were killed on Reach. From a strictly story perspective (not the game's), his reunion with his lost family and team was one of the greatest moments for me in Halo. Love this music.

Dude read Halo Escalations, Jun is still alive but he isn't a spartan anymore. Now he recruits people into the SPARTAN IV program. He is also seen in Halo: New Blood, when he recruits Buck.
Right, Jun is aboard Infinity, Jorge is technically MIA, but probably died. Spartan IIIs are allowed to die, especially because they weren't revealed to the public.

I thought it wasn't too bad after my first playthrough. After a second playthrough, I came to the realization that Halo 5 story was, indeed, quite bad. After a 3rd playthrough I came to hate the story in Halo 5. It is really bad.
I know right? That’s why I love Kazuma. You could actually feel moments that you really shouldn’t have because of his music. I’m sad to hear he’s leaving. Just hope Marty O’Donnell comes back tho. Otherwise it’ll probably be a downgrade.

halo has A LOT OF loss potential that 343 could've used but didnt
i missed it when u fight alongside marines and try and keep them alive i missed it when the unsc were having difficulties with their enemies like the covenant. And finally, missed it when masterchief and arbiter were fight buddies
I dont commit this to the campaign but all the multiplayer memories that I made with halo I will always love halo 5.
The only song from halo 5 I can bear listening too. It reminds me of halo 4, 343s best halo. If only they didn't ruin the story.
