- The Wörthersee Treffen or GTI Treffen is the most famous meeting for Volkswagen Golf of the world which was held for the first time more than 30 years ago around lake Wörthersee in Austria.
Nowdays it's mostly a tuning and German cars meeting where you can find both stock but stanced cars or some heavily tuned beasts.
Watch some of the action I recorded during my stay for a couple of days with a few sleeper VWs, accelerations and launch controls, anti-lag backfires and many more!

Alles über 4 Zylinder hatte schönen Sound. Alles darunter hat nur gefurzt und geknallt...
Das ist das scheiß DSG was die Luschen in ihren Autos haben. Man beschleunigt schneller und es verbraucht angeblich weniger Sprit. Dafür ist es schwerer, anfälliger und hört sich einfach nur scheiße an.
Ja das furzen ist vom DSG, stimmt. Ich weiß echt nicht was an dem knallen so toll sein soll. So nach dem Motto: Der Motor hat keinen Sound, dann soll er Knallen und so krach machen. Ich fahre nur Autos mit min. 6 Zylinder. Da brauche ich so ein peinliches Knallen und furzen nicht :D
4 Zylinder können toll klingen. Bsp. Subaru Sti, Honda B- und K-Serie, Dodge Neon SRT-4 oder auch der 1,8 Turbo von VW mit ner anständigen Auspuffanlage. Aber da gehts schon los. Komischerweise haben die Amis und Japaner da eindeutig das bessere Material. Unsere Nachrüstanlagen sind meist zu basslastig. Das Knallen ist diese Antilag-Scheiße, die sich jetzt jeder einbaut. Und wie gesagt keine Ahnung warum das so komisch beim DSG furzt. Ich bin eh mehr für Handschalter. Ein bisschen möchte ich noch hinterm Lenkrad arbeiten. Aber es stirbt halt alles aus: Handschalter und Hubraumstarke Saugmotoren.
Daniel Meiland Das furzen kommt nicht ganz vom schalten aber zwischen den schalt Vorgängen ist oft etwas sprit im Brennraum und der wird gezündet und somit das furzen
naja ich könnte da noch mercedes und bmw 4 zylinder einbringen. besonders die alten drehorgeln klingen geil.

No offense to anyone in this response. Though these cars are capable, what they are doing is kinda stupid. Not sure whats going on here but the same VW has gone up and down the same street a fuck ton of times for what reason? Take them fuckers to the track.
A 4 cylinder sleeper can smoke a Porsche's ass. If you were a real car guy, you would know it.
No it´s called DSG ( Direktschaltgetriebe)or DKG (Doppelkupplungsgetriebe). Only Automatic is worse. And yes this DSG makes them farting around and that sounds just shitty. And VW´s are not the only ones. Just listen to the new Mercedes AMG Models. Everybody can shift with Paddles. But shifting with a good manual Transmission (VW and Audi have lovely Transmissions) this is what i call driving.

Dir is klar dass dieses Treffen eigentlich nur ein gti-treffen „war“? Zu viele knalltüten mit ihren muschimühlen seis BMW Mercedes etc. verschandeln dieses schöne treffen bis zur Unkenntlichkeit. Merkt keiner dass es nur noch peinlich ist? Hauptsache Aufmerksamkeit und auffallen... um mehr gehts da am See nicht mehr. Schade.. die gtis werden völlig außer acht gelassen.
