In every society there is the Warrior, the Priest and the Merchant, they work together to protect their people. If any of them grow too strong or too weak there is suffering.
@@carlchapman4053 Very true. Power corrupts. Absolute power corrupts absolutely. Doesn't matter who you are or what power you serve, a man's heart is evil above all else.
I love 💕 his story very much. I do however find it a bit ironic that we are baned from war, but we are the peacekeepers. What will happen when another race decide against peace?
Either we just ignore our ban... or we offer our dark skills and when denied we sit and wait for them to turn back to us and realize that we can use our history to keep this from happening. To patrol and keep things safe. The council needs to understand we have learned from our history... that we crave peace, but we will not stand by when violence comes for us.
There is a flaw in your logic,,how can you be a peacekeeper while being banned from war, the thing that made you a peacekeeper in the first place, other species would know you are not allowed to wage war
If someone attacks then the galaxy can simply 'un-ban' humanity from war, the ban is just putting humanity in a muzzle so everyone feels safe but it doesn't stop the muzzle being removed.
So I went back and listened to the exact wording of the deal... there is no flaw, and it comes with a built-in exception. They are banned from military action within council space so that council members can feel safe from humans going rogue against them. Humans are made peacekeepers because fear ofbwhatvthey can do will keep people in line and thinking twice. Now, if an external threat arises again and begins taking council member worlds... well, that is no longer council space, is it? It's enemy held territory. And humanity is not barred from direct military action there. It's actually a really well thought out compromise, carefully worded to include an exception in the definition itself.
You must understand, if I let you get back up without paying for aggression… you’ll do it again, and I’m not fighting this war again.

Sounds like 'Enders Game' and I fully agree.
Good flow. Nice work. Peacekeeper, not Aggressors. 👌💪👍
I'm glad you liked it! :)
Very well done. Too dang bad the pacifist must rely on the warrior to stand on a soap box to preach peace at any cost.
Yeah, but it's like that sometimes in real life too.

My bet would be thar humans would ignore their being banned from war to save the day again. No one tells us what to do. Lol

Good point, maybe the aliens know that humans don't listen to any rules though and that banning them from war is just putting lipstick on a pig! Lol

@@mycroft16 I didn't catch that! Super cool! Sounds exactly like something humans would word into an agreement too! Hahaha
When humanity shows up, you know that the whole galaxy is mad at you.
Ok story. But, the ending was pretty lame.
Sorry you didn't like the end of this one, hope there are some other stories on my channel that are to your liking! :)
