There's something about rhythms that lack any percussive hits (one-shots) that really get my attention when i hear them. More importantly, they're a fun challenge to make a great sounding rhythm with. It's much easier for me if i'm able to find a great sounding non-percussive pedal to begin with. Such a great job, I may have to get this to go along with my Microfreak purchase.
This is amazing! and your cinematography as-well was a joy.. I was curious about getting a model:cycles, love this sound. Are you using individual sounds playing constantly on each beat and modifying to get the modular synth vibe ? Sorry if my terminology is not right! im kinda new here
Thank you, and yes! That's pretty much exactly what I did. I pre-sequenced melodies/chords/notes on all 6 tracks and then spent an hour manipulating the sounds to make an evolving jam, then I just cut the best parts together.
Dude, this is the video from you I’ve been waiting for. Love seeing people take the Cycles into ambient territory.
Wow! This sounds unbelievable for what it's coming out of. A lot of talent here obviously.
Great vibe. I love the zoom on the chameleon. So dramatic :D
Incredible. Would love to read more details on the actual sound design in future videos too!
it's all in the manual!

great job ! most unusual use case of M:C i ever heard and inhave to say it was pretty cool !
Just wow..
I use my MC only as a groovebox for Techno mainly but this opened my mind to take it further
Now that’s what I’m talking ABOUT 🫠👍
great pattern sound design and performance here. i adore the model cycles for this type of thing exactly, i can get lost for hours in there
I recognize some of those synth samples. I found them in a Legowelt sample pack.
The Model Cycles doesn't use samples it's all fm synthesis. Every sound in the video was designed using the onboard synth engines.
Great stuff!!
amazing!!!!!! would you please share this preset and sounds??
Was not expecting Clark
Nice video. Like the videos with just a single piece of equipment.
mr!love it~you made splendid footage, 😲
That would give Trent Reznor a semi I reckon. Great work.
Really enjoyed this! I love playing drone music like this on grooveboxes :)
Have you done any similar videos?
Very nice thanks. Can you explain how you process the chord preset to achieve a melody and rythm ?

Would you consider making a tutorial? I’m not able to generate sequences where the attack is si subdued
Nice one 🙂

Great stuff! (What stand are you using, btw?)
Thank you! I can’t remember the exact name but I am repurposing my laptop stand I bought on Amazon in this video
I'm looking to make a ducking effect on my model cycles. Any tips?
